[Video, then Action] Can I get an "amen"?
[OOC: This is the log for the Demon Days bounty. Ultimately he'll go with Marc Spector, but feel free to chat him up about one of his favorite subjects anyway.]
Say, who among you all has piety about you?
More to the point, would you be willing--in the manner befitting any worthy religion--to be savagely beaten for it?

Re: [Audio]
Seems this inquisitor skipped her doctrinal lessons. Don't quite make them like they used to, eh?
Look, Alley--er, Inquisitor--not being able to discern such wildly different things as godly sorrow and despair is quite the deficiency. Either ask or at the very least keep quiet. This presumption is ill-founded.
As for Cole, unless he's a monomaniac, I've faith he can handle such talk.
[Audio]
My my, I pull out a quote directly from your very wordy mouth and you get all sorts of defensive. Telling me to keep quiet... struck a nerve, did I?
[A low, mean chuckle.]
'As for Cole'... he is one of my people. I take his safety seriously... and as someone from his world, I actually know what I'm talking about when it comes to his nature and his well-being. Your faith is as irrelevant on this subject as it is on any other.
Furthermore, it will not shield you from me, should you cause him harm. Mock the threat if you like, presume what you like of my... training...
[Sorry, that's just funny. Alley takes a moment to snicker at the idea of having been trained for her position as the head of the Inquisition. Like being the Herald of Andraste was something you studied for. As though she'd graduated from a program before taking one of her Gods' own power into her palm and sealing the hole in the sky with it while it seared acid green through her veins.]
...Anyway, it doesn't change the facts. You and I? Not on friendly terms. You and Cole? If you speak again, you'll do it with caution, or you'll be savagely beaten for reasons that have nothing to do with religion.
Re: [Audio]
Anyway, don't worry. I'll endeavor only to speak truth to him; he must have good things to say on that front. And true compassion won't be harmed by fellow truths. In fact, I believe he's stronger than you credit. Goodness, I want to speak to him right away! Fate will surely unite us. Until then, miss.
[Audio]
Fellow truths like Desire, Despair, Envy, Fear, Hunger, Pride, Rage, Sloth, Terror, and Vengeance...? You haven't a clue what you're talking about, but by all means, continue trying to speak down to those of us who do. That seems to always be the way of those who cling to a God or twelve to justify their own personal problems.
I already told you before, I embody very little of what Cole is. Callousness suits me fine. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you with the Inquisition's best assassin.
[That that assassin happens to be Cole, well... the Inquisitor leaves that bit of information out. It's more fun that way.]
Dirthara-ma.
