[Thank goodness things are back to normal. When Karla turns on the feed, she begins with a relieved sigh.]

Well, I, for one, am glad that things are back to normal. It's sort of funny in a certain way...because just a few short months ago, I was asking about special abilities and how people have acquired them. Never have I imagined that I would have the chance to experience such abilities, even for a short time. Increased strength and speed, along with rapid healing...all of those had augmented my sword arts quite nicely.

However, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, as I'm sure most of us are aware. If I had the choice, I would rather be able to feel the sun's rays than to have this super speed and strength. Ultimately, I can't say it was worthwhile...at least not by the way of vampirism.

"I could flutter about. I had stronger light magic. I could cause mushrooms to grow where I danced..."

[She paused, trying to see if she could think of anything else. "Sleeping in tissue boxes" wouldn't really count. The young girl shrugs, signalling she had nothing else.]

So when you say you had stronger light magic, does that mean you already had light magic before this little curse?

"Yes. I can use a multitude of elemental magic. Some I am naturally stronger in, and others I am not. Light is, strangely, one of my three weaker ones."
