[The video feed starts up and shows David behind the bay or at least the back of the bay.]

This isn't something that has been discussed in a while. For newer people, this might not seem strange. But for people that have been here a long time, that might remember this night being here.

[His device turns and shows the archway on the back of the bay. There are swirling lights there that form a barrier, making entry impossible.]

This hasn't always been there. I think it's been over a year. For any that have seen it, it's no surprise that it is locked. Its always been that way since it has appeared. So how do we unlock it?

Well, at first it wasn't obvious. There are little slots around it that can fit pendants. But it seems like it takes a special one, like this. [He holds up a key pendant.]

This pendant appeared in Nova City some time ago. It caused a blackout when it appeared inside of the power plant's generator. Power was only restored when it was removed. Now it looks a lot like the pendants we all wear. But when we put ours in the slots, nothing happens. But when we put this one in..

[He places the key in one of the slots and there is a noticeable change in the barrier barring entry. It's still completely there, but having the pendant in the slot obviously changed something.]

Something happens. I personally have two of the keys. One because I pulled it out of the generator and another because it was left to me. We will eventually have all of the keys assembled, which is 5. Unless there is a secret slot on this thing that hasn't been found. When the time comes, we will probably need to have a discussion on whether or not we should unlock this.

This could be the pathway to any number of things. Maybe it's an exit, maybe it's some sort of door way to hop to any of the cities. It could also be a way to let something in. The mystery about it makes it impossible to pinpoint what exactly will happen when it opens. I don't think there has been any locked place like this before in this world where we were slowly given the keys to.

Come what may, I personally think when the time comes it should be opened. At least we will discover something about this place that was previously locked off to us.

On a different note. I'm going to be renting out a place close to the Bay and stocking it with winter clothes for anyone that might come in. We might have a rough winter if it dropping down to -2° F at the start of December is any indication.

So if anyone has clothes from last winter that they aren't going to be wearing, donations would be apprciated.

Too bad we can't move it somewhere safer when we do find all the keys and open it. I think we should too, and I know there's no way of preparing for something like this, but we should still come up with a plan when that happens. I mean, if everyone's okay with it. I guess. Are you going to do it anyway? We should do it anyway.

But you shouldn't have that much trouble finding the other keys. Just saying.

Think of it this way. if it was something truly dangerous, would they really trust it to us and not just unleash it themselves, whoever is behind all this?

[Fai wasn't exactly sure what it could be, but he wasn't going to put too high a hope on it reguardless. At least that way hope can't be smashed to pieces if it turned out to be wrong.]

But you shouldn't fear the unknown, so I would say open it as well. But don't gets hopes too high up. [Now on to the other part.]

As for clothes... I've got some I can give. Also I've seen worse temperatures, that isn't as cold as it could get. Oh, but if it does get any lower I can actually help since dealing living in a winter wonderland 24/7 in the past was a thing for me.

You're talking about the archway beyond The Bay, right? If so, that's Wingate Creek, which doesn't sound bad, going by the name. Just a place where the wind howls. So it's...blustery, I suppose.

Yeah, I wish we could do that. The Bay has moved before, but it wasn't under our power. If the majority is fine with it, then yeah, we will open it. But if the population is overwhelmingly against it, then we won't.

There is only two left I think, so I hope they do turn up soon.

Well, the keys appear when some sort of disaster strikes. They could be testing us and preparing us for an even bigger disaster when we do open it. That's just one theory, though. [He thinks it's completely impossible to predict that the Spirits would and wouldn't do to them..]

I agree with not fearing the unknown, though. But caution should always be used when going into an unknown situation. [That's just common sense.]

Have them sent to my office and I'll get them there. How cold of temperature are you used to living in if you've experienced worse than -2° F?

Gateways leading to the unknown don't always turn out good. I know people that can attest to that. Movies paint that picture as well. [But those are movies.] Where did you find out the name?

You mean always be a little bit on guard. As for how cold. Let's just say for a normal person, many, many layers would always be needed.
