[The video turns on to reveal a young blonde girl who looks rather concerned about her current predicament. Lillie hesitates a moment, but closes her eyes with a soft sigh and begins to speak. She can do this.]

Hello. I understand this city is called Genessia, but I've never heard of it before now.

Could someone tell me which continent I'm on?

[...she'd like to believe that this isn't an alternate dimension.]

I have something important that I need to do. If anyone can offer advice that I cannot find in these brochures, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

How to explain this, though... ]

Uhm... Miss, this might be hard to understand, but... I am afraid you will not be able to return to where you were from quite some time, at least not from here. It is another world, separate from your own -- from any of our homes, in fact.

Nehra it is still cold out... Are you still near the bay? Will you be all right to find some shelter for at least a short time?

[ Ayame sits bored at her tailor shop when Lillie's video played in the network. Ayame never really bothers with newcomers, but seeing this is someone younger than the typical teen who winds up here, Ayame felt bad if she ignores the call for assistance ]

The brochures provide every basic thing you need to know, but if you need a more in-person type of assistance, the Schnee Company office isn't far from where you woke up in. There's a map to head there in your pamphlet, and they can provide you with temporary lodging while you sort your thoughts.

[In response, there is another young blonde girl. Flanking her were odd feelers that seem to try to cover her eyes in a game of Peek-a-Boo.]

"Hi, hello. I'm...not really sure how to explain it, but we're not on any continent... Well, actually, ...um..."

[Can a series of cities connected by archways even be called a continent? She's trying to help, really she is. While she tries to continue, the pink and creme-colored feelers cover her eyes, and she gently pulls them off.]

"Sylvia, please stop... Er... S-Specifically what kind of advice are you looking for?"

[Lillie lets out a resigned sigh. This was exactly what she'd feared. If only Nebby were with her, maybe she could get back. She wouldn't let this beat her though. She couldn't.]

I see. Is there a library, maybe? Maybe I can do some research.

[She nods.]

Relatively near, yes. I plan on heading to the common shelter soon.

I've heard about the temporary shelter, but I don't want to rely on it for too long.

[She's probably more responsible than most teens that show up here, too.]

Is there any help they can offer that isn't covered in the pamphlets?

[Despite having heard the news that she's no longer in her own world, she can't help but think those feelers belong to some sort of Pokémon. What species though, she's not sure.

More or less places I can go to research a way to get back. Or a better place to stay than the permanent shelter. Maybe even a job if I'm going to be here for a longer period of time.

"For your first advice, I wish I had good news for you... Many have tried to find a way back, but it seems they are only finding pieces that make up a single piece of a unfathomably huge puzzle picture."

[By now, whatever is pestering the girl decided to come into full view and settle down in her lap and watch the newcomer on the phone. It was none other than...]

"Vie, vie~"

"As for a new place to live... You appear to be right around my age. There's a place called the Kusanagi and Haller Home for Children. I used to stay there. It's very nice and you get a weekly allowance."

[She gently pets her Sylveon as she considers her words.]

"I'm not sure about jobs though. I've tried to find one I could stay in, but it was either things happening or they simply had no use for a little Princess."

[Okay, that's definitely a Pokémon. Sadly, she doesn't have a Pokédex.]

If everyone put all the pieces together, maybe there'd be something... [Just a second.]

Are you a Pokémon trainer?

I'd rather not be a burden to anyone. I'm not going to be helpless anymore.

"Easier said than done, I'm afraid. We've only possibly unlocked one important thing here...but you may be better off hearing it from someone who discovered it."

[Her Sylveon perked up upon the question. Anastasia started petting it more to keep it settled.]

"A Pokemon trainer...? In a manner of speaking. I did battling before when the Pokemon were here, but I think I like just playing with them instead."

No, I'm afraid. Other than helping you with finding a more permanent lodging, the company can also help you find a job in any of the five cities.

[ Seeing how Lillie seems more responsible and in-control has actually made Ayame want to help her more. But sadly that's really all there is for newcomers without friends from their own world. ]

Do you have anyone coming there to help you? I'm sorry if that is all there is. I know how difficult it must be to suddenly awake in a different universe.

[ Ayame had it easy in that her job before this involved traveling to different universes, and she was taken from a point in time where she is in need to get away from the stresses of her life. So her arrival here feels more like a blessing than a curse. At least so far. ]

Your not on any continent, you are in what is called hell. Your suck here and unable to ever go home again, so deal with it.

Also what anyone tells you nine times out of ten will be a lie. People just can't help it here. I might even be lying to you, that's how bad it is.

That would be enough, at least for the time being.

[It's honestly hard. Lillie really just wants to panic at this whole situation, but she just can't give up.]

Not yet. Should anyone be? [She forces a smile at that.]

I'll try to manage.

Who should I speak to? Any information would be better than nothing.

[Lillie looks a bit confused.]

...when they were here? What do you mean by that?

I'm not really a trainer either. I don't like watching them fight.

"It likely won't be information you want, though. It's not helpful to finding our way home... But if you insist, I think it was a Doctor Olivia Moore who first shared the idea."

[Ahh, Pokemon. Such delightful creatures, and nightmarish ones. The stories she has are as many as there are fingers on her hands.]

"There was a brief period where Pokemon appeared in amazing numbers. It's when I first met Sylvia here."

[In response, the Sylveon looked up at its owner and booped it's nose with hers.]

"I will admit, battling was rather empowering. But, a Princess doesn't belong on such battlefields, I don't think."

Thank you. Even if it doesn't turn out to be helpful, at least I tried.

[They really are both wonderful and frightening at the same time. Some moreso than others. Honestly, she really missed Nebby. But...Lillie wasn't the best choice for taking care of it.]

...you're a princess?

[She didn't have anything else to add, so she merely nodded. She hopes the girl takes the news well enough and moves on.]

"I am. My name is Anastasia. All though, such titles don't really mean anything now. I just try to remember who I was before being pulled to this world."

This video message is added to the public network, so anyone with the same device can see it. I assumed someone else might have offered to meet with you already. The people here are usually that friendly...

[ Ayame sighs. This must be an off day, since the holidays are coming up here, she guess people are just busier than usual unlike her. Ayame hesitates on asking whether or not Lillie wants assistance. Even if Lillie seems mature and in control, Ayame can sympathize in how alone the young girl is ]

You're in the right track if you head to the Schnee Company office right now. However, if you need any more help, you can call me. My name is Ayame Sasaki, I am quite a new arrival in this world myself.

I am glad you will be doing that... Just how old are you?

[ She can't be older than eleven or twelve, still a child. Adela continues to seem fretful, only pausing a moment longer before deciding she has to clarify. ]

I mention this because there is a place for children to stay if they are not old enough to work and have no one else here. It may be for the best if you take up their hospitality for the time being.

[While she currently has no canon age, she does look slightly older than the main character.]

That's a rude question to ask, isn't it?

[Even with the following statement, Lillie continues to be determined.]

I'm more than capable of working.

The network seems fairly useful.

[Lillie's used to the generally warm climate of Alola, so the cold temperatures of the current season are kind of surprising. The holidays aren't even on her radar.]

I'll do just that. It can't hurt to see what they have to offer.

[She nods with a smile.] Thank you. I'm Lillie.

[ Urk. ]

[ Face-palming at herself what a wonderful first impression she's making here. It doesn't take her long to recover thankfully... ]

[Lillie has yet to begin freaking out or anything, so she's taking it well enough, considering the situation.]

I see. I'm guessing all types are pulled here from different worlds, then?

[Apology accepted.]

Either way, I'll keep it in mind.

[She's determined not to get by on charity though.]

[ Ayame just nods and tried not to look too concerned. Seeing Lillie's composure reminded her of herself back when she was in Lillie's age ]

Very well. I'll remember that name. Take good care of yourself, Lillie. Until we meet again.

[She doesn't really have a choice. She needs to give it her all.]

"I only know of the types I found. Fairy, Water, Bug, Poison, Dark, Ice and Grass. Are there a lot of types?"

[She hasn't bothered to ask about the Pokemon her unofficial big sister has, though. Maybe she will later.]

There's also Fighting, Psychic, Electric, Dragon, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Ground, Normal, Rock, and Steel.

[She nods. That should be all of them.]

Quite a variety.

"Oh... I remember the Fire-types...

I can't help but get so scared around them..."

[Even cute little fire piglets bring her to near panic.]

Some Fire-types can be frightening.

[Some can be cute, too. If only they stayed cute.]

Is that your only Pokémon?

"She's my only Pokemon now."

[She remembers her others fondly, but she really needs to think on a few.]

"Before, I also had Feraligatr, Snover... Stunky... and... Karrablast? Yeah... But we were all forced to make a choice. Feraligatr was too big for my room, so Sylvia seemed perfect to keep."

Oh, I see.

[Lillie understands that. She misses Nebby considerably.]

She looks like she's happy.

"I surely hope so. It helps that she knows how to entertain herself when I don't know how to entertain her."

[Just then, a single ribbon feeler came into view and started patting Anastasia's nose gently.]

Right, well... Please do take care. I wish you the best, and if you need help with anything at all do not hesitate to ask.

[ She tries for a reassuring smile, even if she's pretty sure there's no hiding how worried she is. It just doesn't sit right with her, leaving someone so young to fend for herself, but it's not like she can force her... ]

I'm certainly going to try.

[As much as she's able to, anyway. There's still a lot she needs to figure out.]

I'll definitely do that.

I suppose that is a good thing.

[She can imagine an unattended Pokémon could get into a fair amount of trouble on their own.]

"After you're settled in, would you like to meet Sylvia?"

[Her Sylveon is always interesting in meeting new people, if not for the chance to boop them at least once.]

Do you think she'd mind?

[Lillie would definitely love to meet more Pokémon.]

"I think Sylvia would love it."

[Her Sylveon has been known to boop random strangers also. It was definitely not a shy Pokemon.]

In that case, I'd be more than happy to!

[That's a pretty genuine smile there. Maybe some time with a Pokémon would help keep her mind occupied.]
