[He's left the bay. He is gone. He likes water but it is cold as goddamn shit and he's a skinny thing. He doesn't handle being chilly for very long. There is one very cranky siren stalking around Genessia City somewhere, fussing with his communicator and looking dour]

Some hologram lady gave me the general idea, but it's crap so I want a better one. Why's it five million below? When'd it get all wintery all of a sudden? It ain't winter in Australia!

[There's the distinct sound of a trash can being kicked]

I want a hot cocoa and a hot bath and then I want like ten good reasons why I gotta be here and they all better be great. No crap reasons like I'll like it better here than in Sydney cuz that's a load of bullshit.

[He murmured as he played with his device to bring up a map, sending it to him.]

[He talked apologetically, although honestly that wasn't really his fault. Besides choosing to live there.]

B-But it would take longer if I w-walked all the way there. I-If I could meet you somewhere, I can show you h-how to get here. And... And it's really warm, b-because my boyfriend gets c-cold easy.

[Oh boy, that was a sensitive spot. He froze up a little bit.]

[He didn't really get mad. Instead he withdrew a bit, self-conscious, getting quieter and meeker.]

[Did something happen? He noticed the slight change but... well. It's hard for him to keep up on other's emotions when he wasn't face to face.]

[Seemed like he got a bit worse since Kani pointed it out.

He tried to make it there as soon as he could, even if he was dejected, waiting outside the inn, not paying much attention, for Kani to arrive.]

[He'll figure it out. At length, there he comes, six foot four and skinny, looking chilled but alright. When he catches sight of Bracken though, he pauses, tilts his head a few times, and then grins]

[I was a rather odd thing to say right off the bat, but he immediately thought of the food. He... wasn't quite sure offhand how he resembled a bowl of pudding.]

I... I guess K-Katze does say I'm squishy.

[He didn't mind that so much, because Katze seemed to like that he was warm and soft.

He was taken a little off guard, which helped get his mind off of things a bit, before he pointed towards the forest.]

U-Umm, my home is that way.

[He started moseying along, knowing that, at least, he needed to guide people there. It wouldn't do any good to have someone new wandering around the forest trying to find his home.]

[It wasn't a big place. He sat down at one of the dining tables in the little room. There was a fireplace there, so it wasn't so bad.]

A-Are you sure you want to spend your... your money on this? Y-You can't have much yet.

[He's sure about that. He's frugal enough to not call for the most expensive thing.

[It wasn't that expensive, anyway. It wasn't as if the Marsh Woodsman was a high class hotel, just a little inn.

But, regardless of the small size, they had nice, homecooked meals, and he was happy to eat anything that was ordered.

And Katze was much easier to talk about than other things.]

Y-Yeah, he's my boyfriend. He's... R-Really tall, and pretty. W-With pink hair, and a j-jewel tail. A-And he's purrs really cute.
