NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Insufficient Magic
The number of mages who have suffered from malfunctioning magic abilities hasn't grown by that much, in fact less than fifteen mages have reported this problem so far. However we have our first casualty due to the problem. An injured person was brought into a clinic in Fayren. Their injuries were severe and they needed their best healer to take care of it.
However, when the healer attempted to use their abilities, nothing happened. They were completely cut off from using their magic. A replacement healer was searched for, but the patient succumbed to their injuries before one could be found. The mages magic abilities have only recently returned, and at the moment they don't seem to be suffering any problems with them.
Holiday Flame in the Cold
The City Guardian's office of Attleton is aiming to make the holidays a little brighter. Even amidst their current duties and Election Campaigns, Guardian Blaze - with the aid of Deputies Dante Sparda and David Jordan - have been making rounds to deliver toys to Attleton's schools and orphanages to spread a little extra holiday cheer to the children. In addition, the Guardian encourages families to come by the Guardian's office for their children to pick out a free toy.
"It's not unusual for militaries at home to have toy drives around Christmas. It's a tradition I would like to carry on even here," City Guardian Blaze said.
Any remaining ungifted toys will be donated to orphanages and the Kusanagi and Haller Home for Children in Genessia City.
The Puzzle Corner is a new section in the paper that gives its readers a chance to win prizes. There will be puzzles, brainteasers or the like listed below. Answering one will net you a prize. Only one puzzle can be solved per reader. (Just comment to the paper with your answer.)
1.) Four clowns were getting ready for the evening's performance. From the clothes trunk each clown had to get their socks and shoes.
There was one pair of each shoes and socks in each colour.
The red socks went with the blue shoes.
Baba had yellow shoes but not yellow socks.
The clown with green shoes did not have blue socks.
Boba had neither red shoes nor red socks.
Bilpo's shoes were the same colour as Babil's socks.
The clown with red shoes had green socks.
Can you tell who had which colour shoes and socks?

Four friends were competing in the internationally renowned BrainBashers Bog Snorkelling competition. As usual, the judges were a little careless and once again, they managed to lose the results. Luckily, a number of spectators were able to remember the following snippets of information:
Only one person wore the same number as the position they finished. Gary, who didn't wear green, beat Barry. Larry beat the person who wore yellow. The person who wore number 3, wore green. The person who wore number 2 finished first whereas Harry came last. The person who finished second wore green, Barry wore yellow and the person wearing red beat the person wearing blue.
Can you work out who finished where, the number and colour they wore?

3.) How many times does a coin rotate in rolling completely about another coin, of the same size, without slipping, whilst both are flat on a table?

For Christmas, six brothers and sisters received some CD albums as presents. The albums were by Madonna, Steps, Robbie Williams, Boyzone, Mozart and Shania Twain. Using these clues, can you determine who received which CD?
Kevin chose a CD by a solo girl singer. Laura hates pop music but got an album she wanted. James chose a solo singer. Rebecca chose a girl singer, but not Madonna. Joanne and Steve both chose CDs by groups. Steve chose Steps.

The sleigh is red with gold accents upon it and curvy and snowflake pattern. If you come across the reindeer or sleigh, you can receive a level 1 payment or a mystery prize.
Everglade
Reindeer Games: A finders fee has been listed for the return of two reindeer. They respond to the names Prance and Vixen. If you come across them, you can receive a level 1 payment or a mystery prize.

The item CAN'T be magical or dangerous or anything along those lines. It has to be something harmless. And not something that can be changed into a weapon or anything. It can be a book, a photo album, a scarf their friend gave them, ect. For photographs, they can be given even if they don't canonly exist. For example, a picture of the person and their friends during a particularly happy moment can be given even if one had never been taken.
