[The feed opens to reveal a colorfully dressed blonde man in a quiet part of the park, snow lightly falling in an otherwise quiet winter wonderland.]

"Good morning, everyone. From speaking with a great many of you on Christmas, it seems many did not know what made that particular holiday especially holy. Let's have enlightenment; that is, scripture. Ahem.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

To understand that light, you must first understand the darkness preceding it. Cruelty, oppression, murder, and so on. In a word, sin, which most sensible people can find about them and, more distressingly, in them. And mankind wondered when, if ever, they'd be free of it and be able to unite once again with that light. How might man, having fallen, rise again to God?

God's answer, per usual, is very poetic. He would meet man on his own level, and condescend unto him. The Word would become flesh; God would become man, that is, Christ. The world was granted a savior, and tidings of great joy for the redemption he would bring about through his conquer of sin and death. Hah, it's almost vulgar! God descends from his heavenly abode to come into a lowly manger and meager birth. Bless him for it; who could ask for a Savior any other way?

That will do for an upshot. Thus, Christmas is a recognition for the greatest gift of all: the Son of God, and through him, the gift of salvation to all who believe in his name. A very fine gift I'd like to give to all of you. Indeed, I should like to personally baptize every one of you desperate sinners, convert you to Christianity, and see you off personally to the kingdom of heaven.

Hah, not asking for too much, I hope. Well, should any of you like to speak with me about that, I'll be glad to converse and answer questions of faith as best I can. In the meantime, Merry Christmas everyone. May you all come to light and life."

Do you honestly listen to yourself when you speak? Because this sounds like the most asinine thing I have ever heard.

[Geez Ted, you're so confusing. And so verbose. How he tried to put together everything Ted was saying, and got parts of it, but if he were honest there wasn't any great appeal in converting to him. If he even needed to convert - he never thought much about religion at all, he really wasn't sure what to call himself.

But there was something else that Ted said that caught his attention.]

Y-You... You know how to get to heaven, t-too?

[...Ted, you've got someone watching you. Someone who looks immeasurably saddened by this whole affair.]

"Humans are humans, sin is a thing that happens, if you believe such nonsense. The dragon balls exist because Dende exists. That's really all that matters in the long run, even if he's a tiny green alien, basically."

"True enough, though you haven't answered my question."

"Hah, not yet. It's too wonderful just now, I expect. But I know the way, as easily as any believer."

"Your question is stupid because human nature does what it wants, supposedly forgiving sins doesn't mean you'll be cleared forever. Hell exists, but it's a place only people that have literally murdered people end up."

Y-You found a place where you can f-fall through the earth?

"Hah, as opposed to figuratively murdering? Well, I'm afraid it's for more than that. But nicely; you still haven't answered. No need to be difficult; clarity is not such a difficult Christmas present to ask for, is it?"

"Mm, heaven's more of an 'above' than a 'below' locale, strictly speaking."

"I've known people that have died and have come back from the dead, that's the fact of the matter. Death is pretty meaningless in my world anyway, given the dragon balls."

I-It's weird, because it's below, b-but... But it looks like endless sky. And, if you l-look up, you can see the world, b-but people there can't see you. A-And it's big and scary looking.

"Goodness! Death meaningless? You might as well say birth is meaningless. Whatever death is, death matters. Especially the second death, which Christ came especially to arrest.

Well, if Dende, who I'm sure is a very decent sort, can not forgive sins, he is in that manner far inferior to the God of whom I speak, who can and does."

"That does sound weird; far weirder than the heaven of which I'm speak, which would dazzle you would glory and joy we haven't words to express. But I shouldn't get too dreamy; while thoughts of its nature are wholesome enough, it's rather more urgent to make sure you're on the way."

"Considering you can be brought back from death, no strings attached, other than having to collect the dragon balls? Yeah, it's pretty meaningless.

I live with my sins, I deal with it, that's who I am, that's how it works. I wouldn't want something fake to supposedly get rid of them as that gets rid of who I am. I believe some people call it akin to karma."

"Feel free to ask my husband about it considering he has died and has been brought back from them, so by all means." She's taking this probably a little too personal at this moment. "I'll pass on that, I don't choose to believe in any of this religious nonsense since it all sounds like bunk to me. If you can't physically see the supposed god or anything showing that they actually exist, it's a myth and nothing more."
