[After so selflessly saving his missing sock that one night, Jaune knew exactly who to ask to help him with this bounty. Bombs really weren't his specialty, and while he could have done research, he didn't know where to start. He had always been better at strategies when he could see all the variables. On the other hand, Ed seemed to have the broader knowledge base and ability to pick up on facts that would just look like pointless details otherwise.
He seemed like a good guy, and Jaune couldn't just sit around and wait. He was grateful Ed was willing to help yet again. He hoped he was right about Ed, but he had been the one to approach him, not the other way around.
So he got him a coffee. Does Ed like coffee? Would he drink it? Jaune has no fucking clue. But he desperately sips on his own, hands trembling and jittery as he tries to will the past week into being a blur. It was part of why he had chosen to do a bounty. He's holding a briefcase that he hasn't explained to his teammate yet. Rather than wear his normal outfit, he has a nondescript hoodie on and the same jeans, but he's hoping the lack of armor and symbol will help not give his identity away.]
All right Team...Edjauncation, let's go over our story one more time before we enter the creepy bomber's lair and regret all of our life choices up to this point. I'm John Stark, forger and expert arsonist, here to try and promote my new, innovative chemical that can provide thirty times the power of the bombs this person's been making, and you-- You're, uh...
[He squints, looking pensive before he finally shrugs.] Ed Eddison, assassin and bodyguard. [Sipping his coffee, he stares at the decrepit, creepy store. Most of the windows have been boarded up, but he can catch glimpses of mannequins in the windows and he glances at Ed in doubt.]
