[Well, she thought that arriving is a different world altogether would be a very odd experience, but she found however that was really not the case. But then again she was a woman who was oddly use to a lot of oddity. Advantage when you fought the forces of evil...or had anyway. After she had grabbed what she had and left the Bay, having then spent over five minutes or so simply fascinated by the hologram she had the device on and recording.]

Wow, this works close to what a mobile phone does, except this seems to send out to everyone who owns such a device.

[She gives a little wave with her free hand before it starts to play with her necklace.]

So I guess we must all be in the same boat, huh? Away from home, no possible way of getting back easily unless of course you wanted to work as a time traveller when your older or something. Though wouldn't that be a cool career?

Anyway, hello. My name is Tayler Phillips and if I am here for a while, does anyone know if it's possible to finish medical school here? I mean I was nearly finished, so it would be rather annoying to not finish. But if not, would I be able to actually pursue that career if I wanted to?

[If not, she figured she would find a way to keep up with that line of work. As it means the best cover for what she really wanted to do after all. Even in a new world she saw that opportunity as it meant more possibilities.]

[A slight frown forms upon his lips as he regards the young woman. A medical school student? Goodness, his heart goes out to her. He could only imagine how she must feel being whisked away so suddenly from her normal everyday life.]

I cannot claim I know the answer to your question but I certainly hope you could finish. There's plenty of opportunities to be had here and then some. You just need to look.

I'm not very sure about medical schooling, but surely you can get some sort of internship somewhere?

[Surely she'd have to prove her competence.]

Nice to meet you, to. As for what kind, it would be called Hospitalist, which means I would care for patients in a hospital. Though if that didn't work out I would be a GP.

[Sadly her life was anything but normal, but she nods slightly. It seemed people here were rather nice. Maybe she could use that to her advantage in the future.]

Looking is easy enough, after all if one looks for a job, one would usually have to go out there and look. So would you happen to know if there is something like a job center?

Internship might actually work as well.

[Gives her learning time and actual experience in the field a little more. But however she didn't know if this new place did something like that, but it won't stop her from finding out. Once she figures out other things as well.]

I honestly didn't expect so many people to actually be helpful.

There's something akin to a Welcome Center in Genessia City. There you'll find the necessary information you need to adapt to your new surroundings but I must confess, it seems...a tad disorganized here at times.

Time traveler kind of blows as a career choice, to be honest.

I think you can do the school thing. There's definitely some kind of school around for adults and if there's not you can ask around for someone to private tutor you. And nobody here can stop you from pursuing a career 'cause nobody comes in here with a full resume ready that people can actually double check.

You can probably work the hospital as like a non-doctor and then work in there once you've absorbed enough knowledge to feel comfortable enough doing it.

Similar to an intern, I assume you mean. I have now thought of that as a possibility as that way I can help out and learn at the same time. Plus it gets me the experience to how things work in this world.

The hologram is indeed a rather ingenious way to introduce Genessia to us wary newcomers but I do believe it's slightly intimidating to some. [He frowns a little.] For anyone in...shock over their new surroundings, the hologram lacks a personable touch.

Although, this could be my own personal bias speaking.

You mean personal as in would be better to have someone there to greet you? I mean a robot could do that too, but I guess that would be the same thing. Holograms lack certain things like emotions, so you do make some sense when you think about it.

I was leaning to be a general doctor, those who work in hospitals and handle the patients who come. But I had wanted to go into learning to be a surgeon, but that will mean a lot more learning.

[Though technically she already does that type of thing for reasons.]

[Regis grimaces a little at the thought of having a robot greet him. His utter contempt for robotics and magitek is showing greatly now. He just doesn't like those accursed things.]

No matter how well those things can mimick a person, they lack a soul. That's precisely why I'm not very fond of either.

Though, I shall admit...that's perhaps one of the reasons why I dislike Nova City so much. Too many robots and holograms both.

Yeah they can mimic the violent side of people as well. It's creepy how they could so easily take over the world though due to the lack of feeling pain like we can. Also they fact they would have literally nothing to lose.

The look upon his face is akin to true horror. Regis doesn't like technology on a good day, so imagine how he feels about murderous robots. It's your fault that he looks so pale now, Taylor. So, maybe his speechless and near terrified expression isn't all her fault.

You mean those types of blokes that love a good fight? Those are the types I can easily handle. I mean they are at least always fixable anyway.

Going by the flying cars and robots we have walking around? I'd say quite advanced.

Robots I'm use to, but flying cars... That's going to be fun to see.
