[ today was the day; not like there had been any distance between yesterday and this exact moment. either way, shiemi was more nervous than she thought she would be. not at meeting sync face-to-face, but of the fact that she simply never been inside of an arcade ― what if she screwed up? what if she embarrassed herself? there were so many ‘what ifs’ that shiemi could only halfway ignore.
for now, at least. that didn’t stop her from showing up, possibly a bit too early ( she lived in fayren after all ), wearing her favorite kimono and peacoat. all the while she kept trying to convince herself that there was nothing to be anxious about, looking over the swell of people that passed by for green hair to which she found none so far. ]

Van could just as easily say this place had little difference and start some crusade. Though, perhaps not? Perhaps instead he could learn to settle down in this place. It was doubtful of course; the man had too much pride and wished to do far too much to settle for less than 'Glory'. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts of that tangled web, he looked up to the arcade and zipped his hoodie up a little more. It was the only article of clothing that was remarkable; everything else was just a t-shirt, jeans, and simple black boots. Himself trying to spy a blonde was much more difficult was far more difficult than her trying to see him, probably. Which started him on the worry of if he fumbled this. He wouldn't get many chances to actually do something normal unless he forced himself. Working for Namur and living with people he had known before Genessia could be normal. Except his job was to escort people through the most dangerous city when he wasn't hunting people for a living, and that he lived with people that he had tried to kill, several times. Maybe all this was punishment for that. Very likely; he could just be a consciousness floating around in the Fon Belt and all this was just a random sequence of information that was playing while his fonons sep-- There was a grunt from the teen now.
Intrusive thoughts wouldn't help him here. Shiemi hadn't gotten the change to say what she'd be wearing, so he moved to the front door of the arcade to wait. He was about five seconds from being on time, so it was now time to wait and see if anyone was going to say hello or if he could get ragged by Jade later about being stood up. He propped himself against a wall, crossing his arms while he looked at the passing crowd quietly.]

quite possibly it was the same for everyone; they all simply awoke in another place, unsure if this was reality or a elaborate dream ― nightmare considering how many upsetting things that had been happening.
last thing she remembered were rin’s blue flames…
her eyes scan the horizon, and she turns around counterclockwise to survey the surrounding area, nuzzling her cheeks into her scarf and sighing. this was going to be more difficult than she thought as there were options she had not yet considered. but slowly she plods toward the arcade, but her eyes are stuck on one figure leaning on the wall. his hair was dark enough to be green… shiemi trots closer, slowly, to get a better look. she doesn’t want to be wrong. ]
Sync. [ and when she does get a better look ( realizing it was him with a relieved sigh and her face slowly brightening ) she runs over with a smile. ]
It’s me! It’s me!

Nice to finally meet you.
[In spite of himself, there's a hint of smile on his lips as he moves to crack open the door for them. It make him seem all business, but he's here to relax, so he pauses and lets the door shut again as he turns back to her.]
You ready? Or did you want to chat a bit first?
