[The video appears to be accidental in nature as Lunafreya awakens to find herself with pamphlet, a phone and a few assorted details. After readings, she takes the phone and swipes around until she finds the video function and presses more buttons.]

I believe I might be recording on accident, please bare with me a moment.

[After some frustration, Lunafreya is unable to turn it off as she is not exactly tech savvy.]

I am Lunafreya, if someone with experience could please explain the functioning of this device? I am having difficulty controlling it.

If only Prince Noctis were here, he is always with the newest gadget.

U-Umm, this button...

[He tried to point at it, but it was like trying to record a camcorder with itself. How was he supposed to get video of that? He fidgeted with it a bit, trying to figure out how to properly show her, before he gave up and walked over to another part of the bedroom, where he took out a second device and set it on the table to video tape that.]

Th-This button turns the camera off and on.

[He pointed at it, and thankfully had the video facing the correct direction.]

No way... ( is this real life?
there's a very surprised noctis looking down at the screen in front of him. there's no room for his hands to even shake, he's grasping it that tightly. )

L— Luna!

Huh? You know a prince?!

[Excuse the wild pink haired lady upon the screen. That's just Katze and she's looking quite interested in this plain Jane with the pretty blond hair. Lunafreya kind of looks like someone she once knew, so brace yourself Luna!

Katze is about to ask a billion and two questions and then some. She's quite excited to see someone who looks almost just like her old 'friend' Rui. Oh, terribly we excited.]

So does that make you his 'princess' or something? You look like a princess! Aren't you cold? It's freezing outside!

Bracken~! Be respectful! I think she's a princess!

[They yell from the other room since they're busy getting dressed for an adventure today.]

She's also really pretty! So be nicer~

[ Luna's eyes widen as she sees a person appear on her screen, she smiles politely.]

Hello, there. Give me a moment to look for myself.

[She looks for a second, presses the button on, off and then on again.]

Thank you for your aid, I am in your debt.

[Luna lightly smiles again, a serious smile?]

What is your name, kind sir?

[Lunafreya does not laugh at the pink-haired person, but she does smile at them.]

Yes, I do know a Prince. I would like to consider myself lucky to be referred to as "his princess", but we have not see each other in a very long time.

Also, yes, it is quite cold. I need to find suitable clothing for the weather still.

[The look on her face is nearly worry as she sees him for the first time, and then she heard his voice again. She places her hand against her lips in shock to hear it after so long.]

Is it truly you, Noctis?

S-Sorry! I... I thought I was being nice!

[He instantly went into defensive mode. He hadn't realized he was being rude, he just thought he was telling her what button to press.

He also hadn't really thought about her looks. Mostly because he'd describe 99% of the people around as pretty.]

[He waited patiently, but a little anxiously, hoping his explanation had helped. He knew he wasn't a man of words, and sometimes that hindered his ability to relate information effectively.

But when she seemed to get it he smiled a little.]

Oh, I'm... I'm Bracken.

...H-Hi, umm... l-lady...?

[He was extra nervous after being yelled at to treat her more respectfully, but he had no idea exactly what 'formal' address to use.]

You are but be more....um, formal!

[Yeah, that's the word they're looking for! Geez, earthling speak is getting difficult these days.]

She's royalty, I think. They talk all fancy smashy most of the times! I've seen them on TV.

[She has a worried look on her face because he seems uncomfortable around her.]

[A blissful sigh escapes Katze as she listens. It seems that the prince and the princess have a long history together that's a tad complex. This has the makings of a good love story!

Katze leans into the screen a little bit more like a curious feline. There's so much she wants to ask but maybe she should be polite.]

Get out of Genessia City! It's too damn cold there even for me.

[If Lunafreya notices something long and black wiggling in the background, don't be alarmed. That's just Katze's tail swaying back and forth. Pinky here isn't exactly human.]

The name's Katze! 'Berg Katze' but everyone just calls me 'Katze'.

S-Sorry. I didn't mean to b-be!

[Almost perma-nervous, all he could do was apologize for making her apologize because he couldn't behave right. Oh boy.]

I-I'll try not to be.

Um, um....!

[Shit! Katze doesn't know how to address royalty--Oh wait!]

M'lady! Call her 'm'lady'!

O-Okay. M... m'lady.

[Did he say it right?]

Mhmm...?

[Katze sways back and forth for a moment before nodding in approval. It still sounds a little weird from Bracken of all people but Lunafreya is a princess! So, that works.]

Okay, perfect! Now invite her over to Fayren before she freeze to death.

O-Oh...!

[Usually Katze seemed to think it was weird when he brought people home, but maybe he wanted him to this time!]

O-Okay. We have lots of e-extra rooms now, but... But th-there's not much furniture, yet. Do... Do you think it's okay? F-For a princess?

[He seems so nervous to her, so she goes quiet for a moment until she can think about how to distract him.]

Well, Braken, why do you appear so nervous? Is something I am doing unsettling to you?

[He shook his head vigorously. He really didn't want to blame her or make her feel bad at all, but he couldn't just switch it off. Instead, he tried to focus on what Katze told him.]

N-No... Umm... Ah...

D-Do you want to come to F, Fayren? I-It's warm here. Not... Not like there. M-My boyfriend said you could, you could stay here.

[He shuffled about a bit.]

W-We have lots of rooms but not... not much furniture yet, ah... m'lady.

( there's a breathy grunt behind clasped teeth. ) It should be me asking you— I mean how can...!

( noctis looks down at himself, one hand grasping at his shirt. ) Did I— fall asleep again?

( the last time he saw her was... )

[Not one for loud exclamations or anything, she just tilts her head.]

It does not appear too bad to me, but it is quite cold.

[She sees the tail but says nothing right away, as to not be rude.]

[To see Noctis begin to lose his composure meant she had to hold onto her own. So, she held her breath to get herself together without showing too much emotions that were raw.]

No, I do not think so, Noctis.

I do remember what transpired between us...but not how I am not fatally wounded.

[The urge to rush to him was great, but she abstained.]

My Prince, are you busy on this evening?

[Katze pauses in mid thought for a moment almost as if in suspended animation. They stay like that for awhile before suddenly letting out an anguished mock shriek.]

WE DON'T HAVE ANY FURNITURE FIT FOR A PRINCESS?!

[Panic! Pure panic---]

Okay! I'm going to get us some furniture with the money I got for this hunt.

Lunafreya? [Wow! Even her name sounds important. Katze wonders what's it going to be like to be "her" for a day. The pink alien cannot help but snicker somewhat deviously at the thought. ~~'I'm gonna be a princess--'~~]

Nice to meetcha! You look nonplussed, so lemme give you the rundown.

[She takes a moment to clear her throat.]

You've been kidnapped!

O-Okay. M-Maybe... Maybe put it in Thistle's room?

[He wouldn't have made it any secret that all these extra rooms were being made to house his friends when they showed up, and Thistle's would have been the first. Thistle was also the one who would most appreciate a 'princess' room when he did show up.

He was clearly nervous, as he was stuttering even more than normal.]

Wh-What... What should I do?

Mhmm~! Okie!

[Katze nods enthusiastically. The alien approves of this idea tremendously.]

Just wait for me to come back. I'm heading out to Nova City in a bit. I gotta finish the other half of this bounty or no red bills for dear Katze~

[No red bills, no fancy new furniture for Princess Lunafreya.]

Oh, and quit stuttering so much! Stay calm. Lunafreya seems like a pushover like Airy. She's nice.

[That's not a compliment, Katze.]

[Not helping with the stuttering, Katze. That was like telling an angry person to 'calm down'. But he'd get over it with time.]

B-Be careful on your bounty.

[A sigh leaves Katze as he glances back at the screen with an oddly demure smile.]

I'll be fine. [He pauses briefly.] I think.

I mean, how dangerous could this 'Emerald' person be anywhoo?

Luna, you—! ( noctis turns away, forcing down a cry so that by the time he turns back to the camera again, he seems to have settled, at least a little. )

Just, tell me where you are! I'll be there... ( and he won't fail. not this time. not anymore... )

I-I've never met her. But... But if she hurts you, y-you can call me, and I'll make her stop.

That would be lovely. It is preferable to the cold weather that I am currently staying in. What furniture are you without?

[A part of her assumed a bed, but she has been in worse situations than no bed.]

[Lunafreya did not want to say that she was hanging on every word and gesture, but she was watching intently. When he disappears, she frowns and when he returns she is alright and clears her throat.]

Please, do not worry yourself for my safety. I am located in Nova City, do you wish me to find an easy place for you to look for me?

[Luna nods, her first reaction was to try to take everything in. So, she did not do anything as she did that. She had already forgotten that everything was unfamiliar after she saw Noctis, but that was neither here nor there. ]

Kidnapped? By whom?

K-Katze says the bed we have isn't... it's not good enough, so... So he's going to buy a new one!

[Of course, most of the rooms just had bedsheets, but that particular one he had gotten a bed for quickly.

Not a great bed. Just a mediocre one.]

I-It has... It has a table, and a chair, and, and a dresser.

[Big room, small, sparse furniture.]

I-Is that okay?

[He looked hopeful.]

[She still looks pleased, even though he made it out like she would be unhappy.]

I need not for extravagance, simple means will do for the time being. I am sure that your place is lovely, just as the lovely as your generosity. I will be eternally grateful.

I will do my best to make it towards Fayren.

D-Do you want help? My house... My house is in the f-forest, you might get lost.

[He flinched, like he just thought of something.]

Y-You're not scared of forests, are you?

Nova City. Okay. ( he's devising a plan... ) The Skyrise. There should be a building taller than the others. I'll head there right now.

And... Luna? I know you will, but I have to say it anyway, so... Be careful.

I'll be fine on my own, Prince Noctis. I will meet you there.

Yes, I would very much like it if we could meet somewhere with ease of access. I do not know my way around this place at all.

Y-You must be really brave...

[He took her word for it. He certainly feared plenty.]

Do you... Do you think you could f-find the gate to Fayren? I-I could meet you there.

He'll be out of breath by the time he finally turns the last block to head towards the skyrise. Shoulders heaving and doubled over, trying to get some air as he leans his hands on his knees, doubled over. Noctis likely tried to run the whole way there from Fayren, which was no easy task.

But once his lungs finally stopped rebelling, he looked up, searching the crowds for a familiar shock of blonde hair that could only belong to...

"Luna..."

Luna was cold, uncomfortably so when one considered that she wore a dress with exposed arms, legs and other places on her skin. She had to make herself leave to find him at the skyrise, even if she was nervous to actually see Noctis in person -- without her duty being present at the moment. For her, the wait was forever, even longer since she'd see his face or heard his voice in a place that was not from another device or form of communicate. A part of her feared what could be between them, her mind ran circles on whether her still felt the way she did because they had been world's away from each other.

Luna released her hair from some of the braids, clasps and other bands so her blonde hair could protect some of her skin from the harshness. She was quiet, even somber, until she heard the sound of someone's voice say her name. Lunafreya hesitated for only a moment before she turned around, her heart raced like a horse on the final stretch of the Preakness. She interlaced her fingers together slowly, dropped them by her sides and it was almost too much to bare for her.

Lunafreya feigned her strength in this moment, if not for her then for Noctis.

"Prince Noctis?" Luna spoke as if her words could disappear into the wind.

There's no more words. Noctis' lips are a thin line as he looks down, his hair obscuring any view on his expression, as he takes just one step forward, and wraps his arms around Luna tightly.

It's all he can do not to cry, and a mercy that she can't see his face as he pulls her in close, wincing all the while. She's alive. She's safe. Luna is here.

"I thought—" there's a gutteral inhale as he does his best to keep a sob in check, "I thought I'd lost you."
