[ The young woman is caught somewhere between worried and... bravery, honestly. While her face is tensed with realization of the gravity of the situation, this is clearly nowhere near too much for her to handle. It's after a deep breath, she begins to speak in a steady tone: ]

So... I'm assuming I'm not the first person to ever be brought here, from the looks of what the Welcoming Committee gave me. [ There's just a hint of sass at the latter part of that sentence, but she quickly reels it in. ] Anyway, I won't go into too many details over this thing.

I guess I'm just hoping somebody out there will see this, who would maybe be willing to answer a few questions. [ A twinge of sheepishness: ] Or... a lot of questions.

She's determined to stay as calm as possible and keep her wits about her as she looks around. She has to stay sharp and figure out how to get back home, after all. No way is she going to stick around just because they were kind enough to leave her a phone, gald -- er... red bills? -- ...stuff to buy things with, and some... necklace that has to be kept on her at all times. That doesn't mean she's immediately going to be okay with having been kidnapped.

Talcott... she wonders if he was also brought here; honestly, Iris is not sure which she'd rather.

It's several hours after waking up in that place, she realizes she's absolutely starving. It's around this time she can be found scoping out any restaurants closest to those caverns; she's not being picky, more than she's considering just how safe the food will be around here. She hasn't exactly grown to trust anyone, so far, so... yeah. She might be hungry, but she's not to that level of desperation just yet. Finally, she's going to sit on a bench and peer down at her phone for a good... thirty minutes. She's not using it -- just staring at it with an unreadable expression for the time being.

More hours pass...

Iris can eventually be found walking around more. By this point, she's eaten. The fact that she doesn't feel weird, hasn't turned into a frog, doesn't seem to be poisoned... Well, those are all positive signs, clearly. Now, to just figure out where she's supposed to be sleeping, since the benches are great for sitting, but don't seem like they'd make very comfortable beds.

[ He reminds her the tiniest bit of Prompto (though, it could just be the hair, honestly). Cute.

Iris gives him a soft blink, and then a smile and wave of her hand. ]

Hi. [ Briefly, she wants to ask if he's all right... but her immediate thought is that he's just nervous. Maybe if she gives her best effort at being friendly he'll come around? It's worth a shot. ] Are you also... kidnapped?

[ Is that the right word? Will that make this guy even more nervous? Well, it's a little late to use a different wording... ]

N-No...

[It was the immediate response, before he realized she meant being kidnapped to this world. A little flustered, he tried to correct himself.]

I mean... I mean yes! Do... Do you need any help?

Sadly, you are not. This type of thing has been going on for as long as I've been here, even longer than that.

[Which was a sad thing to say really, she had really hoped that they would have found something as a step forward in this place, but as far as she was aware they hadn't found much.]

But you have questions, I'm all ears.

Sitting on the bench next to the other sat a teenager currently playing on a hand held game, or as the case maybe on the device everyone had playing this worlds version of Candy Crush. It was a fun and somewhat addicting game and even Chiaki had fun. However she also felt like it not having an ending was a little disappointing, but she figured that was the point.

When she finally looks up, she finally noticed the person next to her and looked over slightly. "Oh, hi there. Sorry I didn't notice you."

Dumb questions or good ones and are you expecting feel-good answers?

"Certainly, Ms. Someone or Other, I'll be happy to answer whatever questions you have! As many as are in my power, anyway; obviously there are still some mysteries about."

[ ... He'd been messing around with the device, not... really expecting anyone he knows to pop up. And yet, when he reaches her message, he's caught off-guard, visibly.

Obviously, Gladio wastes no time in asking, ]

Where are you?

[ Whoa... what a cute girl. ]

I would help you, but... I'm just as confused as you are.

Some of us have been here for a long time and we still have our own questions about this place. But most of us will try to answer any questions that you have to the best of our abilities.

Iris! You... you're here. ( your eloquent prince, everyone... )

I mean— ... You're okay, right?

[ She attempts to keep a smile intact, but it falters just a bit. She's guessing everyone after this point will have about the same answer. But, really, it's not about herself -- honestly, she's more upset over the fact that other people are dealing with this.

What if... her brother or any of their friends show up? Though, she imagines most of those people would make it through this place just fine... It's just... a matter of any of them being stuck here. What would become of their world? It's already... declining pretty badly... and... ]

That'd be great, actually! Um... we should probably start with names, though. [ A friendlier smile. ] I'm Iris!

Iris gave the young lady a glance, expression softening as she watched her play the game for a moment. She decided not to bother her, since she'd seen how into that phone game the guys could get. A painful lump tried to wiggle its way into her throat, but she swallowed it down, resetting her focus. She needed to get back to thinking about what she would do next.

The greeting snapped her from thought, however; she blinked and turned her head back to the stranger. She managed a smile while shaking her head, one hand waving to dismiss the apology, "Oh... no, it's fine! You seemed to be having fun, so I didn't want to interrupt you. Mind if I ask what the name of that game is?"

Well, if it means I won't get the answers I need, you're welcome to be as brutally honest as it takes. But... most of my questions involve trying to figure out who's really in charge around here. I don't plan to stand around and act like some kind of puppet, just because they've manage to make this place seem like the... "ideal" or "coziest" world to live in. I'd like to find a way back home, no matter how difficult it'll wind up being...

Ah... Well, um... For starters, where would you say is the best place to eat around here?

[ And here she had been... thinking she was all alone. When she sees his face pop up, her heart briefly stops. She momentarily stares for a good five seconds, before hurriedly responding: ]

Gladdy...! [ She's smiling, but he'll likely be able to tell she's biting back the urge to cry -- she's somewhere between relieved and happy, with a nice helping of oh, six, he's stuck here too... on the side ] Right now, I'm outside... this shop!

[ She takes a quiet, deep breath, trying to force her hands to be as steady as possible; she's turning her phone so that it gives him a slow, but full view of the entire area... and then stops directly on said shop. It's a fairly bright building, so he shouldn't be able to miss it. The place sells discounted clothes... because she very definitely does not want to be stuck wearing the same outfit every single day of... however long she's going to be trapped here. ~~Video game logic aside.~~ ]

[ Fortunately, she manages to keep a straight face -- no need to make this poor guy even more nervous by making him think she's laughing at him. Though the laughter would only be the kind that's spawned by her finding him kind of really adorable...

He really is a lot like Prompto, only... way shyer. Hopefully she'll be able to find a way to reassure him; she isn't here to critically judge him or anything like that. ]

Well, I guess asking how to get back home is out of the question-- [ A gentle, albeit wry smile appears. ] --since... I have a feeling this place wouldn't have so many people if that was possible. So, for now, is there anything you can tell me about who might be running this place? Or... anywhere I could go to learn more about it?

[ She's seen her fair share of beautiful people, but this? This takes the cake... and for a few seconds, she's staring at the screen.

Then realizes that, for a few seconds, she'd been staring at the screen. ] Oh... uh...

[ Jeez... Way to start this conversation out smoothly, Iris... But, the thing that's confusing her most of all, is why it suddenly matters so much. She's never had trouble with interacting with people! Man, way to act like a doofus in five seconds flat. She tries to make up for her failings by offering a friendly smile, at least? ] That's fine! I'm not expecting everyone I meet over this thing to have answers... But does... this mean you're new, too?

That's just fine! I mean... it's not absolutely fine, since it means there are a lack of answers, but...

[ Look, she's still recovering from the last conversation she just had... Please don't judge her? A somewhat flustered sigh whooshes out. ] Guess one of the questions I haven't had a chance to ask, yet... is... Where's the best place to buy things like a first aid kit? What do people do around here, if someone gets hurt?

[ That's-... He's actually--...

The amount of time she stared at the screen after first seeing Gladdy is nothing compared to how long she stares after seeing this face...

It feels like all the air has been sucked out of her body, and there's a painful lump immediately forming as she quickly has to lower her phone so he can't see her hurriedly wiping at her eyes. After a few seconds, she is wearing a bright smile in spite of the way her eyes are glistening with the remnants of her brief tearing up. ] Noct, it's really... you.

[ They're the best at this. But, look, the last thing she heard about him was ~~spoilerspoiler13~~... well, she hadn't really expected to see him so soon... Also, she's just now realizing his question, and quickly nodding. ] I'm fine! A little... confused, but very happy to see your face! First Gladdy... then you...

[ She's trying so hard to redirect the focus from her earlier reaction. She manages a laugh as she tries her hand at a joke. ] Looks like I won't have anything to worry about in this world, either...

[ After a moment, she briefly averts her gaze from the camera and adds with a slightly less cheerful expression: ] But, on a more... serious note, who else is here?

I get what you mean. [He says as he chuckles a little bit.]

There are stores all around. Nova City and Genessia City are your best spots for traditional first-aid kits. Though the ones in Nova City are probably a bit more advanced.

Fayren is the place for more..natural remedies. You'll find shops that sell medicines and healing herbs, I even own one. [He doesn't make the medicine himself, he has someone for that.]

There are people that can also heal with magic. But if someone gets hurts, you get a healer or take them to the hospital. At least if its a severe injury.

"Oh, definitely around loved ones at your or their residence. Then you get the pleasures of cooking as well.

...Ah, you mean the best restaurant. In that case....mm...depends on taste. If you like sophisticated things, the Nakiba establishment in Nova City is fancy enough. The Bright Sky Diner, however, is my preference for plainer fare."

A-Arro is trying to find a way to t... to teleport home. I... I don't know how long it'll t-take, but he's really smart.

Th-There's guardians who t-take care of the cities.

[Like heck if he could list them all, though.]

A-And, a hologram that explains a lot of s-stuff near where you wake up. O-Oh...! And a pamphlet that probably s-says stuff.

[He wasn't sure what because he never read it. TL:DR.]

[If Yukiko knew about what the other was thinking about, she would be able to at least ease some thing at least. but she smiles gently, trying her best to be of help.]

So apart from what you might have asked others is there anything else?

Chiaki was getting better at not playing a game while talking to people, so she puts her phone device away for the time being before focusing on the other.

"I was, but when people are talking unless you are in co-op of the same game, it's better to talk to one another." She said with a small but sweet smile. "As for the game it's called Candy Crush Saga. It comes preinstalled on all devices, so yours should have it to."

Oh, that's those weird things. People keep saying they're spirits, but there are other things that are spirits. Last we heard from them Fayren's took some sacrifices from people to help rebuild the barrier or something, but that was a while ago. They're not big fans of contact.
