[Action] Beware of Barghest
[Outside - Any city]
During early morning and dusk, sometimes late at night, a creature has taken to stalking anyone that catches its eye. Rarely does it come fully into view but one can catch a glimpse of it as it darts in and out of sight behind its target. It appears to be a black dog of monstrous size, easily five feet at the shoulder. It's a rangy looking thing with coarse fur, huge pale eyes, and a smile of sharp teeth too big for its mouth.
Mostly it's content to freak out loners out at odd times but it might just stand its ground if confronted or even chase down those that run.

However, when she was sure that she heard something she was quick to attack first and ask questions never. So have some nice ice spikes heading ones way.

It stood just at the edge of the shadow it lurked in and stared.
Action; Fayren
"Come out, come out..." he coaxes. One might be able to feel the air around him getting colder...

"Come out, come out...," it mimicked in a voice as rough as its laughter. It poked its head over a bush, wide, wide eyes watching the dragon. Oh would it attack? That could be very fun.
no subject
"What manner of beast are you?" His voice was low, as if in a warning to tread lightly.
no subject
"Don't you know?" it asked in what based for a smug tone, all the while not moving its mouth. The grin stayed in place.

Meanwhile, Qubine's glare stayed in place, though his body did relax a little bit.
"I am rather new to this world, after all."

It stepped out of the bushes, leaves caught in rough, black fur. It continued to stare, tilted its head to an unnatural angle. There was no crack of bone or hiss of pain, but it did click its teeth, for effect.

Qubine said it with confidence as he plants his feet in the ground again.
"Death has tried to take me many times, and yet here I am."

The smile snapped back into place as Tektite padded closer, looking up at the curious creature.
"I've heard that one before, you know." Gems are an arrogent lot, so are dragons it seems.

If this beast is trying to scare him with that line, it doesn't work. Qubine lets out an exasperated sigh.
"But seriously, what do you want?"

"Ooo, you're an angry one huh? Big thing too, bet you think you could just snap my head right off, huh?" She laughed harder still.

Qubine eyed her carefully. "I just might if you continue to threaten me."
no subject
"Ahaha! You think that was a threat? That?! Ha!" She rolled onto her belly and twisted her head until it was upside down. "I don't threaten when I'm a threat!"
no subject
"Why are you watching? Stalker, much?"
no subject
no subject
"You don't want me to be a threat!" She laughed again, it wasn't as sincere now.

She was surprised that she hasn't quite yet, but she was sure that would change as she moved to take a step forward, her left hand held up, just in case.
