NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Fighting Factions
Two mage factions in Fayren have long since been rivals. The two factions being that of the Arcane Knights, lead by Cellica Carkalyn and Ravenguard lead by Alwin Vajyre. Both have two different ideologies on how to use magic the most effectively, and have fought constant battles on varying fields to prove who is right and who is wrong.
The groups used to be a single group called The Magicshroud. The leader was Cellica, with her second in command being Alwin. The founder of the group passed away sometime ago and turned over leadership to Cellica. It wasn’t until infighting in the group caused a split which lead to the dissolution of the group as a whole and the formation of the two separate ones, with the former heads in charge.
Currently the two groups are at odds over who gets control of the recently rediscovered training grounds named “The White Catacombs”. The training grounds belonged to Magicshroud until the group broke apart. However, they came to an agreement to share the grounds.
They hold a contest and the winning group gets control of the grounds. Ravenguard won it before, but ownership has expired and the groups are calling on people to join their side to help them win the contest.
Valentine's Auction Registration
The day of love is rolling around once more. Sunday, February 14th is that special day. Some might not have anyone to spend that day with or maybe you just want to donate money to charity. Whatever the, come on down to the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City on February 7th. As mentioned in the flier above, a Valentine’s Auction will be taking place.
Sign yourself up for it. Or if you know someone that can use a little love in their lives, sign them up! We will attach a form to the bottom of this paper so that you can do so. Hope to see you there!
New Ave in Nova!
The Ave apartment complex in Nova City has renovated to provide nicer, more "spacious" living space for those who can't afford to live in the upper crust. The newly renovated building features minimal living situations in the big city, now new and improved "rearrangeable" rooms! Studio apartments designed a la Yolanda style in order to save space now mean that these small apartments are able to have nicer kitchens and a very lovely, fair sized bathroom without decreasing your personal space. All amenities are voice activated, so at least it's high tech, and it has a holographic projector built in so your TV/radio/etc. doesn't take up additional room and can be used regardless of which slider you're using. There's a swimming pool on the third floor. Apartments have temperature-control settings and a digital fireplace with realistic crackling noises in the bedroom/main room. Now nicer, affordable, compact living is available in Nova City, check it out now!
Aster Tech's Biology Alterations of Pigeon Population
An unexpected Nova City improvement this week is the pigeons! We've finally made the pigeon problem a little more bearable- you may have noticed the colorful, beautiful birds around town. Things have changed and now thanks to Aster Tech's bio department, the pigeons are all beautiful rainbow birds. [ Attached to the paper is a link that will send your device to a video similar to this but set in Nova City, which can be activated by tapping your device near the encircled V symbol next to the article- also a new piece of Nova News Tech! ] Look for them around town.
Speculation as to whether this is a PR stunt from Aster Tech to regain positive reputation with the public after the disaster that was former-Dr. Seek's resignation stunt is floating around, but Aster Tech representatives will neither confirm nor deny, stating that they "Are only looking to make the city a better place one step at a time."
The Puzzle Corner is a new section in the paper that gives its readers a chance to win prizes. There will be puzzles, brainteasers or the like listed below. Answering one will net you a prize. Only one puzzle can be solved per reader. (Just comment to the paper with your answer.)

Elder Slayer: A serial killer has been targeting the Elderly while they are in their homes sleeping. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can bring them in.

Viral DLC: A hacker has introduced a virus into updates for various consoles. The virus not only spreads, but it erases saved game data. Be it highscores or progression. The virus has also been linked to theft of bank card information that is stored on systems, allowing the hacker to siphon money. A level 2 payment is being offered for their capture.

Finders Keepers
– The Arcane Knights and Ravenguard are competing for ownership of “The White Catacombs” and they need your help! The contest is taking place at the The White Catacombs. It is currently overrun with monsters, but that is where you come in. There are crystals of varying size and color inside of the White Catacombs. Both groups would like for you to go inside and find them and bring them back. Depending on the size and color of the crystal that you find, they will give you a certain level payment between 1 - 5.Whichever group receives the most crystals will be declared the winner and owner to the White Catacombs. But with their being monsters inside, you must be prepared to fight.
Arcane Knights – An order of magic users that combine martial combat with magic. They prefer to use their magic to enhance their fighting or weapon abilities. From using bo staffs, daggers, swords to even bow & arrows and crossbows, no weapon is off limits.
Ravenguard – An order of magic users that believe purely in using magic and intelligence as opposed to brute strength to accomplish their goals. Tomes and wands/staffs are their preferred magic accompaniment items, though some don’t even use those to help with their magic.

Here Comes The Boom: Three houses have exploded over the last week. Each house exploded due to a gas leak inside of it. The first was ruled an accident, but after the other two, it has been decided that someone is responsible. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can find the culprit.
