[Kairi had gone to fetch an ice pack for Sora's face. When she returned she honestly wasn't expecting to see angry pigeons dive bombing an already injured boy.]

Sora! [She runs over ice pack thankfully still in hand for the meantime.] We best get you inside right now because they try again.

[That... actually looked painful.]

Are you okay? [She didn't know him, but honestly one should check because it didn't look like things were going well for him today.]

Oh, wow. That horoscope thing actually came true. I figured they were just full of bolony

[Colour her surprised to be honest, she really didn't agree with them.]

Don't just duck. Run!? Once a pigeon starts it won't stop until it gets what it wants and it seems this time it wants your blood!

[Could it be true or not? Doubtful honestly]

Well how about that?

[And while the other teen is ducking, Akihiko takes a swing at the pigeon, knocking it away. He normally wouldn't attack animals, but this guy looks like he's in trouble, and needs help getting away from them. Besides, it's not like Akihiko is attacking them with his full strength.

After knocking away a second pigeon, he turns to the poor guy with a frown.] Hey... you okay? What'd you do to piss 'em off?

Kairi!

[He quickly summons his keyblade and uses it as a shield against another attempted divebomb, moving to place himself between the birds and Kairi.]

Y-yeah, come on!

[With that, he's grabbing her hand and rushing inside.]

[There's a surprisingly large red spot on the right side of his face. Rubbing it with a forced smile, he nods.]

Yeeeeah, I'm fine... [Also, this is after he's back inside. Thank goodness.] I'm just a little confused, is all. I'm not really sure what I did to make them angry. It can't...be because of what that horoscope thing said, right?

Looks...like it did. [Sitting down on the couch inside his apartment, a sigh escaping, he presses the icepack to the side of his face.

He sees no point in wasting Curaga on something like this.]

It makes me wonder what else those horoscopes could predict... Or...is it because of the horoscope that this is happening...

[Talk about spooky...]

O-...okay...

[Well, he's not gonna question it. Keyblade out, he's running full-speed to the door, putting the weapon up to block whenever necessary.]

Gah...

[Once inside, he shuts the door and all but collapses next to it. While sitting on the floor, he glances back at the screen.] That was...kind of weird...

...Sora.

[Another familiar face from the facility... One of his friends. He has to wonder, though, if Sora will remember him.]

Do you need assistance?

Y...eah... I'm not really sure I believe what happened.

[And he's the one it happened to...Also, he's inside, rubbing the red spot on his face.]

[In the process of ducking, Sora quickly summons his Keyblade. He stands while the other teen is knocking away the second bird, only to find himself having to block a third.]

Ugh! What the heck?! [He then tosses a confused glance at the guy punching the birds.] No idea! I read something about needing to watch out for pigeons, after getting hit with-...

[Blocks another avian attack.] ...-the paper, in the face...and...

[Another block!]

Okay, forget this! Thundaga!

[He sends a lightning attack at the birds that are in the air, making sure to focus all of the attack on the birds. He doesn't want the other teen getting shocked, after all!]

I think I'm okay, for now. I hope there won't be anymore attacks, but...I'm not gonna hold my breath. Thanks, though!

[By the time he's able to respond, he's back inside his apartment. Sitting on his couch, he lets out a bit of a relieved sigh.]

...? [He tilts his head at the person's face.]

...

[Nope, he's pretty sure he's never seen this guy, before.]

Hm...I could be wrong, but- Well, I'm pretty sure I've never seen your face, before. [Wow, this is a first... He knows what that feels like, though. So, he's going to offer the stranger a friendly smile.]

What's your name?

[Getting hit by that lightning really wouldn't affect him very much. Polydeuces has an affinity with lightning, after all. Not that the other teen would know it.

Akihiko's eyes widen as he stares at the lightning bolts shooting down from the sky. Damn... he hopes Polydeuces will be able to learn an awesome spell like that, someday. It sucks, having to hit one target at a time. Sure uses up a lot of spiritual energy.]

Whoa... I've never seen a sword like that before. [He remarks in a curious tone as he steps forward to get a closer look at it. Mitsuru's rapiers are way different in appearance.] You can use it to summon lightning?

[He doesn't. A shadow passes over Gaara's face, but after that brief instance, his expression goes back to looking completely neutral.]

Mmm. Be careful.

[Gaara shakes his head, still maintaining that calm demeanor. It isn't Sora's fault that he doesn't remember him, or the facility. As a matter of fact, it's a blessing in disguise, to lose such horrid memories.]

No. Not in this realm. [Immediately after letting that tidbit out, Gaara presses his lips together. Because of Sai, he has started to speak more casually and a bit more openly. It isn't always advantageous, however.]

My name is Gaara. [Brief pause.] If you are all right, then I will leave you to rest.

[This course of action would be for the best. It isn't his place to tell Sora about a history that he can't recall.]

[Thankfully, he hits all the birds. Though, ...a tiny part of him kind of...misses all the action. This place is definitely a lot more boring than the last world.

Sora lets out a relieved sigh, nonetheless, and turns towards the stranger.]

Huh? Oh, this is a Keyblade. It's actually for fighting Heartless...but I haven't exactly been able to use it for that, since I wound up in the world I was on just before this one.

[He holds it out for the younger teen to see. By this point, it's not even a big deal to him.]

Yeah, I can summon lightning, fire, ice, and wind. I can also heal, draw the enemy in closer, and put up a shield.

[If this sounds rehearsed, it's because it kind of is. He's had to explain it to quite a few people.]

[He blinks.]

H-hey, Gaara, wait... [His brow tenses.] Look. I know how it feels to have people you knew not remember you...

[Glancing to the side, he pauses a moment, then gives him a faint smile.] Well, uh...were we friends?

[He's about to end the conversation, when Sora calls out to him... just as expected, really. Sora has always been like this, from what Gaara does remember of the facility. He values his friends over everything else, including himself.]

How can you understand? [His tone is neutral, but clearly carries disbelief. He doesn't mean to be cold, and yet... getting attached again, would it only bring pain?

Regardless, he isn't going to lie about their bond. Even if he isn't sure it can be replicated. Because with Sai, it...

Gaara closes his eyes for a moment, to recompose himself, mentally.]

Yes... at the facility. We had fought alongside each other as allies. Additionally, you assisted me with your healing technique.

Heartless? [Blank stare. Never heard of that before. He wonders if they're anything like the Shadows back home, in Japan.

Gingerly, Akihiko runs a hand over the blade part of the weapon. It's shaped like a very large key - befitting its name. Not as sharp as a regular sword, but anything can be used to inflict damage, with enough force.]

Really? So you're a mage, huh?

[He knows enough not to assume that everyone with fighting capabilities have Personas. Still, this is his first time seeing someone up close and personal that can use magical spells. Not being a Persona user, of course.]

Uh huh. They're...Well, to put it simply, they're these creatures that go around stealing people's hearts. The empty vessels left behind become Nobodies.

[After Akihiko's finished running his hand over the blade, Sora sends it away. There's a flash of light, and it's gone, as quickly as it came.]

Wellll...not quite? I mean, I can't really say I've ever been called that...[He glances up, then shrugs.]

I guess that could be a good word for it? But, really, I just call myself a Keyblade wielder. [He folds his arms behind his head and gives a smile, pivoting his weight from one foot to the next, head tilting to the side a little.] Thanks for your help, by the way! What's your name?

[He pauses a moment.] Well, it started over a year ago. I'd say...about a year and a half? When I was put to sleep, everyone forgot about me for a little while. [He shrugs.] It had something to do with me not being a complete person. Then, there was the time with this one guy that I had fought alongside. His name was Captain Jack Sparrow. He was...my friend. [His smile softens.] When I wound up in the world I was in just before this one, he didn't...remember me. [He sounds sad.] Neither did the guy Jack and I fought to defeat. Also, one of my...really good friends from my home world... [He looks away from the screen.] Her name's Selphie. She doesn't remember any of us. She doesn't even remember being on Destiny Islands.

Then, while I was there, one of my...best friends was...killed. When she came back, her memories were reset to a year ago. [He scratches the back of his head, then looks back to the camera.] Then, when I got here... one of the members of my crew- he... doesn't even remember meeting me. But, he was there. [His brow tenses.] Heh...Guess I should be getting used to it, by now, huh?

[He's quiet as he listens to the explanation of how Gaara knows him.] Oh, we did? [He smiles.] Heh, yeah...that sounds like me, alright!

[He forces a grin.] Well, if...you want... [He looks away, a moment.] We could be friends, here, you know. [He manages a softer smile, looking back at the camera.] There's no reason we couldn't be, right?

They steal people's hearts? Damn... Sounds like a really painful way to die. [He's going to assume that the vessels left behind are, well, dead. Of course they are empty - people can't survive without their heart.

He is still staring, when Sora's Keyblade suddenly disappears. Definitely a neat trick. Kinda reminds him of Personas, how they appear, and then vanish when they're done casting their spell.]

Well, most people can't use magic. This is the first time I've ever seen a Keyblade.

[Akihiko smirks a bit in return, going back to being somewhat aloof. He shrugs casually.] No problem. I'm Akihiko. [He doesn't bow, or extend a hand to shake, like many foreigners do. He isn't exactly the most polite when it comes to strangers. This isn't Japan, after all.]

Well, they don't actually die. Nobodies are...well, they're basically a separate being? Some even get their own bodies and personalities. In fact, my Nobody's name was Roxas.

[Yeah, Sora still forgets that most people think of a "hearts" as that organ that- y'know... pumps blood.]

Well, it's the Keyblade itself that gives me the ability to use magic. Without it, I wouldn't be able to do anything special, like magic or transforming. [Modest, as always.]

I'm Sora. [Yeah, what is shaking hands and bowing...?]

What horoscope thing? [Yuna looked a little confused. She hadn't really been paying that much attention that the paper.]

I don't think it could affects pigeons, at least I hope not.
