[The feed starts with the blonde staring oddly at the screen while she looks for the blinking red dot. After a second she switches on a big smile.]

Hello! My name’s Colette and I just woke up here. I hope we can all be friends!

I was wondering if there’s anyone here named Lloyd? ~~He’s usually the one getting kidnapped~~

[She looks down for a moment. It’d be really nice to see a familiar face in this strange world, and Lloyd’s always been by her side. She looks back up suddenly, smile plastered back on her face as she begins to walk.]

I think I’m going to head to Fayren; it sounds the most like the places back home. But I’d love to see this world and meet all of-

[There’s a small cry as she trips on… nothing. There’s nothing there. Colette’s just that good.]

I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to drop you…

[A hand covers the screen and she accidentally disconnects the call.]

Oh no! I broke it…

[Well that was...something. Kay stares at the videoscreen in silence for a few seconds, so Colette will at least get a good view of the droid.]

Did you just apologize to the device?

[Normally he had trouble with 'hello's, but as he tried to figure out how to introduce himself she suddenly fell, and he asked quickly.]

A-Are you okay?

[Now Kratos has been living here for quite some time, about two months actually. So he doesn't expect Colette arriving here. Alone.]

Hello Colette. Lloyd is not here. It's just me. You're the second person from our world that I had seen. Have you just arrived here? Either way, if you're going to stay here for a while, there's the commonspace where you can stay for free for a month or at the inn in Fayren. The money call redbills, you have can pay for the inn.

[A short pause. After all, this is his son's friend. She's not the type to find work for a stable income, at least not right away.]

But I can pay the room for you.

Though, sorry to say not heard anyone with that name. Also your phone won't break that easily, so it isn't broken.

[She offers a gentle smile anyway. This girl seems pretty sweet, the kind of person Tori can't help but be nothing but kind to.]

Still, it's nice to meet you. My name's Tori. If there's anything you want to know, don't be afraid to ask!

[She had actually just dropped it face down.]

Oh! I thought I broke it.

[She picks up the phone, the video sweeping back to her face.]

I'm fine! I'm used to falling.

[She says this with a cheery smile. When you're a klutz you just get used to these kinds of things.]

Sorry! I didn't mean to worry you.

[There's a slight eep as she is startled by the voice - she thought for sure she had broken the device, but it looks like she just dropped it face down. The video spins around a little as she picks it back up.]

Hi Yugi! That's sad about Lloyd, but I hope we can be friends!

[The phone is spun around and there's a look of shock on Colette's face.]

Oh, I'm sorry! I thought I broke it. It's very nice to meet you, Tori!

[She frowns. There is one thing that she's wondering. It's not the most pressing of things, but....]

Do you have doggies here?

[There's a gasp as Colette recognizes the voice and the phone is picked up and nearly dropped again in her scramble.]

Mr. Kratos! What are you doing here? Is anyone else from home here?

[She bites her lip. She was going to travel alone, but now that Kratos was here... She hates to impose, but she's always felt a lot safer with Kratos around. And it'd be a shame not to see him while she can.]

Do you think maybe I could come stay with you for a bit? I-if it's not too much of a bother, of course! I can always live on my own, and I was a waitress that one time back in Palmacosta; I'm sure I can find something here!

I'm sure we can. The people here for the most part are very nice after all.

[Not all, but most. Which was good at least in a way.]

[In a few moments, a notification will show up in her CPU phone. He just text her the address and directions to the inn in Fayren.]

I'm staying in this inn in Fayren. They have a vacant spare room. I believe they have better accommodations than the commonspace. If you worry about the rent, I can pay for you until you find a job...as Genessia operates the same as our world, finding work, and then find a place to live.

[His tone is straightforward, polite, but it's coming from, he's used to teaching students on his sparetime during the weekends.]

I think you will. There's a lot of waitress/waiter jobs the last time I checked. I work as a security guard in one city. I think you shouldn't hurry until you settle in.

[Then a pause.]

Do you even know how to get to Fayren? Should I pick you up?

Hello. You're not very used to technology, clearly.

A-As long as you're okay.

I... I can heal you, if you n-need.

[She waves her hands frantically, the video jumping around.]

Oh no! I'm fine, really. Thank you, though! I'm sorry for making you worry.

Not really. Only a few places back home had it and we always let Kratos or the Professor handle it.

[Her eyes widen, suddenly realizing what she's talking to.]

[She startles a moment when the message comes in, not used to the technology. Sure, she'd seen some in her journey but it wasn't like she wa the one that used it.]

Oh no, I wouldn't want to bother you! I'm sure I can find my own way. They gave me a map, see?

[She holds up a small paper map. She actually would prefer he come get her, but she's not going to ask in case it's any trouble.]

[Yeah, well, no place is perfect. "Most part" is the best she can hope for.]

That's good! Which part do you live in? Maybe I can visit you one day.

In that case, Nova City is going to be quite the shock to you.

I mostly live in Genessia in a house with my pokemon.

[He paused for a moment.]

I do go to Nova City from time to time though for work related things, but I stay in Genessia for the most part.

I've never seen a machine speak all on it's own before! Does Nova City have lots of them?

I'm a droid, my designations is K-2SO but calling me Kyatoo is just fine.

There's a lot of different models where I come from, not so many here.

Where are you from? We don't have very many machines at all on my world. Unless you go to Yuan's bases. He has lots of them.

[He paused to settle down for a moment.

And then it was awkward. He'd been taken out of the mindset of introducing himself and now didn't have time to think about it clearly. He hadn't decided on what to say, and he fell into silence as he tried to churn it out in his head.]
