[Generally, David left the bounties for Genessia City to other people. There wasn't a shortage of people willing to handle them and the most important thing was the situation getting resolved. However, seeing that Karla had accepted part of a recent one made him decide to pitch in. It's his first bounty in a while and he'll be doing it with his deputy.

He stood in the back office of the transportation company where Miles worked. He's just simply waiting for Karla to arrive at the moment.]

[It was rare for Karla to accept a bounty as well. They were little jobs, while she usually waited for this big jobs, such as the recent incident with Koishi. But something about this particular bounty seemed to call out to her. The assassin was a woman who used a katana to kill her victims. Karla saw this as a potential test of her own skill.]

[An unexpected surprise was having David volunteer to take the bounty with her. She couldn't fathom why, but she decided that it didn't matter. She made her way to the office where David waited, staring at the bounty listing in the newspaper in her hand. She looked up and smiled at David.]

Hello, David. I'm glad you could come.

[The job did seem perfect for her. An assassin that uses a sword against another swordswoman. He had no doubt that she could handle it, though. Even if he had sat it out, he knew she'd still manage to turn the woman in.]

It's no problem at all. I think I need to get out on these things more often. Have you given any thought to how you want to handle this?

Hmm...

[She tries to think about it for a moment...]

I thought I'd just wait for her and defeat her then. I really don't know how else to handle it...

And how do you plan to go about that? Do you think she would just strike here? In combat, would you just attack randomly and hope to hit your mark or plan and make a precision strike?

[Well, that question really throws her off.]

Well...in combat, I usually strike with precision. However, I'm direct combat, there's no time to plan for such things. You just have to counter quickly. You have to be quick, both physically and mentally.

But you aren't just going to swing blindly, though, are you? The assassin won't attack blindly. They will knew their target, know where to find him, know what routes he uses and the best place to strike. Essentially, we will have to go at his day like he would and fall into her trap to get her to reveal herself.

That sounds like an effective plan. Would we accompany him, or take his place?
