[Oops, look who it is. One of the new arrivals to the city and she looks... well....

E-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-EVERYONE! I need help, it's an emergency! A serious, serious emergency!

[And she holds out the apparent source of her IMMEDIATE AWFUL DISTRESS. Just a regular old pokeball.]

Does anybody know how to open one of these? Me and Cyn-Cyn were playing and I tossed it to him and then it SWALLOWED HIM! AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET HIM OUT!

[This girl sure does remind Yang a lot of Ruby. Like, A LOT.]

Calmm down, there's no need to panic. Most Pokemon like being inside of their balls!

[Her Buizel intentionally nudged its ball out of Yang's pocket when it was tired, and nosed itself right in while she watched in open curiosity.]

Here, watch me. You take the Pokeball, like this.

[Yang holds up Buizel's Pokeball, and moves her thumb over the button.]

Then you push this, and when the ball gets big, give it a toss! See?

[Yang pivots, lightly tossing her Pokeball onto the carpeted floor. A flash of light, and there's Buizel, curled up into a tight ball and snoozing away. It lifts its head and yawns widely.]

Buiiiiii?

Nothing to it!

[Don't say panic! Don't say panic! Fluttershy panics at that word as she looks nervous for a moment. What could such an emergency be... until she heard. Afterwards it looks like she's calmed down a little bit.]

Oh, those balls are the friends home, so I guess he went home to sleep for a bit.

Have you even played pokemon before?

[It's a serious question right now.]

If not, then let me explain why it 'swallowed him' as you put it. [She points to the screen.] That ball is it's home. That is where they live when you catch them or at the start of ones journey. The reason why it vanished was because it went home. It's as simple as that.

[Let's face it, even if Pokemon did exist in her world Megumi would be too busy fangirling over magical girl junk to get into a monster-collecting RPG.]

It's his home? [She blinks, looking down at the red and white ball in her hands. Hearing that Cyn-Cyn is at least alright is a big load off of her mind but she's still a bit confused by it all.] I thought they were toys.

S-so it's okay for him to be in there? I was so worried when--

[She stops, blinking at the screen. Okay, so, weird things aren't so out of the ordinary for her, even back home. After all, she comes from a world with magical girls and crazy monsters and fairies and apparently she's on a first-name basis with the God of the Earth but... now there's a pony. A talking pony. With wings and yellow fur and pink hair and-- and--

hang on, she just went into overload.]

[Then she blinks as Buizel meanders over to nose its way into its pokeball. Ah, they got another one! Oh nooooo! Except the blonde girl doesn't seem overly concerned about it.]

[She copies Yang's movements, pressing the button and then, after a moment of hesitation tosses the ball. A flash of light and there's Cyndaquil, sitting on the floor and looking a bit befuddled by the whole experience himself.]

Cyn-Cyn, you're okay! [Here you go, Yang, have the girl scooping up the little Pokemon in her arms and hugging it.] I'm so glad you didn't get eaten by a pokeball!

Technically it is, but in this case it's really and the system is slightly different. But the names and such are still the same I believe.

[She shook her head slightly.] Oh, no they aren't. They just look like it. If you'd like I could show you?

[The biggest fattest dick of them all-- wait. wait no forget i said that.]

It is, but I find I only let them in there for bed times. All the other times I keep them out and about.

[She tilts her head slightly. She isn't exactly sure what to do.]
