The floating ashes are coming from this figure and his torn red sash that never seems to stop scorching up to a certain point. Paths of fire climb up like rivulets, but they always stop to a certain point before the fabric mends itself, never quite becoming full again and starting the same cycle over. In all the dizzying lights and colors, the subtle gold inlay of his armor that seems to pulse like arteries is hard to catch, but when Jaune steps away, in a corner or somewhere more removed, he's more illuminated.
