[ During the assault, Ayame had volunteered to use her abilities to repair any damages to the city brought by the breach instead of doing any fighting, so now that the breach has been quelled she keeps true to her word and finds any buildings or tattered street that could use a touch-up. A particular street suffered a lot of damage, it seems certain people were a little too trigger happy with their weapons, so standing upon it now Ayame simply waves her hand. Like magic, everything puts itself back in place, returning to their previous states before the attack. Every nail on the wall, all pieces of shattered glass and concrete, and even ones that got smashed into fine sand, put themselves back together like time is being reversed.

But as everything transformed looking good as new, Ayame finds herself out of breath with her heart racing and pounding so violently in her chest. Her head feels heavy that not even with a nursing hand on her forehead lessen the feel of its weight. She walks toward a wall, trying to catch her breath and trying to stay awake while she uses the wall as support. There is a ringing in her ears that she shakes off as she takes out her communicator device, sending out an audio for every citizen: ]

This is Ayame Sasaki. Any Guardian or citizen in need of repairs for damages to their properties, please contact me immediately. Guardian Haller, if there's any place else in the city you need me in, please direct me to it.

[ Ayame ends the feed there, dropping her device on the ground. She looks down on her hand only to see it trembling. ]

Oh no...

Text - Public - Evening

[ This may not be the best time to ask, given how things are. But Ayame thought it would make for a temporary distraction for the others. But mostly for herself as she tries to ignore and run away from her problems, already way ahead of Dante and Gale who are offering drinks by already drinking what alcohol she has in store at her apartment. During her patrolling in Genessia City, she finds a dog kennel and sees a particularly lonely wolfdog that she instantly connected with. ]

What would be a good name for a dog? Female. 3 years old. I'd like to keep a theme with my pets and have the name start with "Hi-", however I am not opposed to other ideas if you think it would be fitting.

*Faye happened to be strolling through the area Ayame was fixing. It was a bizarre thing that had Faye frozen, staring around at what was going on. She continued on her way, and that's when she spotted the woman, looking ready to collapse. Faye moved quickly forward*

*Not the warmest of greetings or very helpful, but it was better than nothing*

I'm curious to know where you've heard the word "Hitsugi"

Ayame musters some energy to lift her chin up and turn her head just so she could look over her shoulder. Her senses are in chaos, and Faye's voice is blurred slightly by the ringing in her ears that just won't stop. Ayame's knees eventually buckle down, forcing her to sit on her haunches just as the sound of Faye's footsteps become clear enough as they get closer.

"I'm- I'm alright." Ayame says, almost defensively despite how exhausted she sounds. She holds a hand out in the air as she forces herself up, struggling as she may be.

Since I live with Satsuki, I picked up on a few things.

[Not anything Satsuki hoped for, however.]

She also wasn't my only Japanese friend. I even know about honorifics.

When Ayame buckles like that, Faye can only shake her head. The girl is saying she's okay but that's quite clearly untrue. Glancing around, Faye isn't any wiser with what's going on. She moves a little closer, hand on her hip as she assesses the situation. "Are we drunk? Having a heart attack? A panic attack? Can I help?" She didn't look like an addict or a drunkard...

Hime?
Himeko? She could be a princess.
Hiroko? Hikari?

Hime. I haven't thought about that. That's an excellent name to start off with.

[ She's really digging Himeko! Good job, Mayu ]

Having some company around has helped more than she expected. Perhaps it's her pride coming to the surface and giving her a boost, just so she wouldn't have to look so weak when somebody is around. But her head remains heavy, and her body remains exhausted. Nevertheless, she stands up straight and lifts her head up high. She remains wearing her party outfit, so Faye is totally right that she doesn't look like an addict or a drunkard. At least not yet on the latter part.

Ayame shakes her head, trying to smile "Exhaustion. Nothing more." Ayame quickly glances to the side, to do a follow-up fix to a particular street light. It was broken before the attack, but since she's here, she might as well fix it. The light's pole is dented and filled with crusty old posters that vanished, bringing the light's old luster back. "The drinking comes after" she adds, almost like a dry joke but she honestly feels like she needs her fix of booze right now.

"Why aren't you in a shelter?" Ayame turns the spotlight to Faye, almost as if to berate her for being an unpowered human roaming around freely in Genessia City. "Are you armed to deal with those entities?"

That much I do know. It's just surprising to hear the word for "coffin" from you under this context

Dante had been looking for Ayame, Sparda resting on his shoulder with Ivory still in his hand. As he approached, he struck quite the imposing figure, looking more like an executioner than anything else.

"There you are. Been looking for you." Dante doesn't sound like he's got much energy left either, but at least he's still standing, though that could change at any moment.

It seemed like an obvious choice. She's pretty.

[ His brother is a shoujo mangaka, so he's used to clichés.]

While I haven't checked what needs repairing on my end, I have to say, I didn't know you fixed things as well as making clothes.

Unless it's repairing clothing.

Hinata could be a nice name. Also they are a very cute dog.

[David lists a number of buildings here in need of repair.]

The list is from major to minor,though there are only a few that can really be classified as major. Nonetheless, I think the people that use the structures would welcome any repairs on them.

It means coffin? But that does suit the name of this girl in a manga I read.

Forget I suggested it.

Ayame's senses were dulled by her exhaustion, so when she hears a familiar voice, she could only close her eyes momentarily before looking to Dante. She switches her attention from Faye to her phone on the ground, seeing David Haller's text message while she uses her power to draw the phone towards her hand. Putting it away, she looks to Dante and could only give a quiet sigh.

"Dante." Ayame greets. "What can I do for you?"

Yes. It's an ability of mine that I don't always reveal to others. I simply did not see the need for it until now.

Do let me know if you find anything in need of mending. I shall be there as soon as I'm able. I understand Fayren is without a Guardian at this moment, so that city is next in my list.

I guess nothing as city destroying as this has happened for a while, so that makes sense.

I will make a list as I patrol so I know what needs fixing and what ones would need to be done first or risk it becoming dangerous.
