[It's been quite a while since the blonde-haired Hyrulian had made herself known to the other captives of the world. A month had come and gone so effortlessly that the woman can hardly believe what all had transpired since her first arrival into the world of Genessia. When the feed first appears, the former Princess of Hyrule is in the process of taking a seat at the end of a long table. Stacks of books almost look like castle towers at either side of where she sits, framing her in a coincidental manner befitting her background. Softly, her throat clears, a single hand coming to her lips to excuse the gesture.]
I'm unsure of who this might reach, though I suppose it is safe to assume it will reach a great many of you. My name is Zelda. I want to first thank those who selflessly offered assistance and helped me to get my bearings in this strange place. Our encounters may have been brief but they were well received all the same.
I've.. [For a moment she pauses, turning and reaching an arm out to pick up a large, leather-bound book that falls upon the table top at her release.] .. been catching up on some reading. This world has a wealth of knowledge I've never seen before, and even in a month's time I've only scratched the surface of what lies beyond my home. Contraptions and technology, medicine and arts, so much of it foreign but all so alluring I'm not quite able to fathom what else might be out there.
To the few of you that I did have the pleasure of speaking with, I wonder, would I perhaps be able to inquire more of where it is you came from? Call it curiosity or an inquisition, I assure you I mean no harm in asking, but I wish to learn as much as I can to better be of use to the whole of this world. I've.. not a talent for much outside of what I was raised upon, but I do know a minor amount of medicine and potion drafting. Languages, history, I'm not sure what good those sorts of things will be but if I can help in any sort of medical task I would very much like to.
If you're still out there, Doctor McCoy, I'd be very interested in meeting with you once more, personally.
[She stands from the table, continuing to speak as she walks towards the view of the device.]
To all other parties, you'll be able to find me in the central library, I believe it is called. Once I'm able to tear myself away from the table here, I can most likely give you a better location than name alone.
[She gives a soft smile while her face is framed in the camera, lifting her free hand up to wave at the audience.]
Until then. I do hope to hear from many of you soon.

Do you know Link?
Video
Re: [Video]
Link?
[Her expression goes a bit sour, no longer the pleased and quizzical sort of look to her face that she held only a few moments before.]
I know OF him. Why?
Re: Video
I've.. been told as much before. I do tend to get a bit carried away, but I am making sure to eat and sleep and take care of myself. Thanks for your concern.
Video
So it's a common thing for you to hold up in places like libraries for long hours reading?
It's just she doesn't talk much and why don't you seem happier, Link is amazing and--
Wait. Him?
Re: [Video]
Yes.. Him. I'm sorry, you said "she"? Did you not? Are we speaking of the same Link?
[How does one even go about describing some one that they held in such envious contempt?]
Pointed ears, hair as yellow as a mighty thistle's tip, tunic of blue with white trimming?
Re: Video
[She bashfully laughs, rubbing a palm against her temple as she speaks into the feed.]
Quite a virtue to have but it does have it's problems from time to time.
Video
As long as you aren't letting it harm your health, then there probably isn't anything wrong with enjoying a few..hundred books from time to time on slow days.
Oh crap. Why hadn't Link ever corrected him? Why doesn't he really care?]
That's her-- him. Whatever. Though his hair is more of a golden beacon of hope than yellow. Beautiful, right? And you both have pointed ears.
Video
I think that's something we can manage, though not this second. Is it urgent?
Re: [Video]
Yes, we have pointed ears. I'm beginning to discover that such features are a rarity, yes? Am I also to assume that your initial impression of Link was that HE was a SHE?
[It would be impolite of her to laugh at such a preposterous idea, but the Princess cannot help but imagine the Champion being chased after and doted upon with flowers, adoration, and the company of a lovelorned youth.]
Re: [Video]
Re: Video
Re: Video
No, nothing urgent. It's been some time since we last spoke so it was more of a note to let you know that I am still very interested in learning more about your profession. I can't imagine you have much time to your own, but whenever you're able to afford any moment or two, I would be in your debt, Doctor.
I don't talk to meanies.
Have you seen his hips? He never-- He didn't bother to correct me. Do you I think I offended him? [He grimaces.] Is that why he talks so little? And how do you know him? Judging by what you've said, I doubt you're the princess he's a knight to.
[The concept doesn't sound as nice as it did when Jaune assumed Link was the princess's lady knight.]
Re: Video
You know what? I've got a day off tomorrow I was going to come in for anyway. You find some more reasonable clothing, I'll give you the grand tour. Cafeteria food isn't even bad.
Re: [Video]
I have not spent a great deal of time looking at the Champion Link, and I would recommend you cease in doing so. It is not my place, nor do I wish it to be, to answer for some one's comfort levels when they are quite capable of addressing them on their own.
For as long as I've known him, Link has been a knight of very few words. I know him because he was a trusted knight in my Father's charge, and he was soon assigned to me as Champion to accompany me in my travels. If you assume that I am not of noble standing then I can now fully understand your inability to discern Link's identity. While I at one time had wished for the opposite outcome, Link is very much a knight at my service, or at least he was in our kingdom.
[There's more she wishes to say, more lashing and jagged words she ponders over in her head, but it would not be in her best manners to do so.]
Constantly being rejected, or worse, can harden a person though, and he certainly isn't fragile around someone who is a complete stranger. If anything, it's how she speaks of Link, and how she tries to order him what to do, that sets him off.
The nervous and lovelorned youth is also very salty and cynical.]
Hey, you know what, Princess, if speaking as if you're so intellectually superior to me and trying to order people how to act around your knight when he's perfectly capable of speaking for himself and making his own decisions are traits of royalty, you fit the bill. Otherwise, I don't know enough about your world to automatically think of royalty when I see you.
You're right that there's still a lot I don't know about Link, but what I do know? Is that he'll tell me when he's ready, and I'm okay with waiting until then. I'd rather hear it from him than you anyway. At least he'll be nice about it and not blame me for not being a mind-reader.
[He folds his arms, scowling.] Sorry to waste your time, Princess Whatever.
Re: [Video]
.. Wait a moment! You dare to speak in such a tone when it is your own fault for not inquiring further?! Listen here, you.. you.. you unflattering hynox! I wasn't the one who started with the insults! You ask me about a knight who is handed things and comes upon such an easy life, then get upset with me when it is YOU who have made the mistake? If you've enough courage to pursue a knight, you'd best learn how to address those they are in the charge of!
[She sticks her tongue out, the flat protrusion extending to give the full bit of sourness that the blonde invokes from their discussion.]
Well this Princess Whatever sure knows a lot more of things than you certainly do. If that's considered superiority than.. well.. good! And who are you to tell me how to tell others to act around Link?! He's fated for much greater things than.. than.. well, than having to play to your fancies or to be something for you to run after!
But if you desire him so much then see what I care! You can have him! When I return home then it shall be I who is able to save our kingdom! You can have your hero for all I care!
[His shoulders tense and he gets ready to retort, but he ends up squinting at her in disbelief.]
...Did you just stick your tongue out at me?
[His expression becomes more closed off, and he tries to make himself smaller, voice solemn.]
Being a hero isn't always what it's cut out to be. And if you really think that's the most valuable thing you or Link has to offer, champion or not... You couldn't be more wrong.
I just want him to be happy, and if I'm not making him unhappy then I don't see the problem. Besides, we could all work as a team and it's better than doing things alone.

That said, I'd be happy to talk of Earth to you if you'd like. So long as you're open to some turnabout, of course.
