Mission 004 [Video]

[The video starts with a certain spy boy back in K&H Homes petting his Sound Wave Pokemon. And thankfully for the first time since he arrived here, he is just glad that he's back in his room after that spirit attack a few weeks ago.

However, he does have one dilemma right now, which is the reason behind his latest video.]

So looks like those crazy spirits are gone. That's good news.

Although the bad news is how can I even defend myself...

So, does anyone recommend me somewhere to buy some weapons for me to use? Or better yet, help me use magic or stuff?

[Even though he will get some rejections, he has to cry and beg for this, knowing that telling that he's a secret agent in public is very bad news.]

Well...I'm not sure which shops have weapons. I wish I knew how to teach magic...

[She knows the feeling of feeling helpless out there. She does glance at the Pokemon, though.]

What kind of creature is that...?

Man, that's too bad. And I guess that your magic is for dragons only or something?

[Cue Noise looking at another dragon onscreen.]

Oh, this is Noise. He's a Pokemon called a Noibat, I think.

I...I think so...maybe? I've seen other people use similar abilities, though...

Also...I have trouble using my own magic...

[She studies the Pokemon again.]

A Pokemon? They have powers too, don't they? Maybe that one can protect you?

And that's a good idea. Except for the last time they did, Noise ended up chicken out and hides in my backpack until the spirits are gone.

[She may even see the said Noibat shivering at the thought of it.]

Well, that's...not good...

[She mulls about it for a moment.]

Then again...I remember that Pokemon needed training, didn't they?

You want to learn magic?

I have a book of magic I can loan to you. It was given to me on one holiday.

[If she can find it.]

It's not Destruction magic like mine. I think it's more on illusion.

I did train my Noibat every day during that Pokemon craziness a few months ago, but to be honest, I didn't prepare him for a spirit attacks like that.

Illusion? Like with that stuff where can imagine some scary stuff to enemies, except they are not really real?

I don't think anyone could have been trained for something like that...

[She even heard Qubine say that he had to retreat from the spirits. It must have been really bad for him to do that...]

But still, even if Noise and the others have these awesome powers to protect me, I know I can't sit around and let them fight without me!

I believe so. I'm strangely restricted to just destruction magic, so I have been unable to learn healing or any other school of magic.

[Her theory is she can learn it if she could remake them into something destructive. But it's not a priority right now.]

If you want to give it a try, just let me know and I'll start looking for the book.

[And here he took Tony for a regular kid. Then again, children in Genessia are never what they seem.]

What arms have you trained in? I'd rather you left the fighting to the adults, but I won't say no to you pitching in if you can really handle it.

[Wow, that's really strange. In fact, Tony's starts to wonder why did Anastasia, a princess like her, can only use destruction magic.]

Uh... Umm... Actually, I learned some karate and some other martial arts back home. Plus, I bought some firecracker charms from that Everglade shop.

And don't worry about me, but I can able to fight all by myself.

Not exactly. I kind of hung out at the arcade that time and I did help my friend on getting to a nearby safehouse.

"Ah, it's probably nothing. Just noticed that someone very, very young is making a broadcast asking for dangerous weapons. And I vaguely recall a certain someone making headway with the bounty boards. Don't suppose you know any other Tony's, eh?"

[Yep, he's dead.]

[Of course, he knows, Tony! It's a public bounty board!]

I'd shoot this down, but 'martial arts' means you've already got a foot in the door. It'd be a waste if you don't take a few more steps.

[And the kid's gotta start somewhere.]

The least I can do's make sure you've had training. Interested?

[He'd really rather not put Tony in harm's way, but he can't ignore what he might have to offer Genessia either.]

As long as it's to defend yourself or someone else. Nothing more. And if things get too hot, you bail and call for help.

Why do you want to use weapons?

[Chiaki never understood why people do, does it really make things better or worse?]

For a lot of people, magic isn't just something you can do willy-nilly.

[Take it from him.]

For one most magic users are people who were born to be able to do magic in the first place. So if you don't have the gift, there isn't really any point in trying to teach you.

To defend ourselves, duh.

But I'm only using them just to do that. I'm not actually the type to actually use them just to hurt anyone.

Yeah, I already did that before.

[Though while he still doesn't like it, it does save his hide and emotions from those spirits back there.]

And don't worry about it. I just need some skills to make sure no bad guy will ambush me or attack this city without any warning.
