[Chiaki had managed to position the device so that it was facing her television and in part facing the side of her face. The girl herself had a controller in her hand and her Pokemon sitting next to her preparing themselves for a gaming session.]
Mimikyu, can you go check if everything is set up. Thank you.
[Smiling gently at the Pokemon, the Pokemon in question went to check while the other two were fast asleep on the other side. After a moment if looking they come back.]
Okay, great. That means I can start streaming soon.
[Once she was sure she started testing a few things, buttons movement and the like before putting the controller down and paying attention to the phone.]
Hello. My name is Chiaki Nanami. I'm a gamer and because of that, I play games when not working in the arcade. I also stream it so people can watch, but... I like to ask people what games they would like to see played around here and I can see what I can do.
[She paused for as moment.]
But for today the game I am playing is called Smash Kangaroo. It's really fun but can frustrate some people.
[Chiaki hadn't really done a full playthrough of it yet, which is why it was chosen as her game for playing today.]
At least that is what I have heard from natives around here anyway.

...I must confess, I do not see the purpose in watching another make progress or mistakes.
Video

But isn't watching people make mistakes helping you learn what not to do though? So there is some benefit.
Video
Also what level are you on?

I have a question what is a Kangaroo?

[Something she likes!]

[ Thrawn still looks thoughtful for a moment. ]
Is there a purpose to this game? Or is your only intention to simply play and not have to think about that?

That's not even close to the level you are meant to be on.

Or back in the old day it's was just play levels, plan how to do that and just win.

[She leaves the feed to her pokemon just staring at it, the ghost sheet like one tilting its head before she came back holding up a picture.]
This is a Kangaroo.

[Kay waves at the pokemon and mutters a small 'hi'. Once the picture is show, he tilts his head to the side and studies it with intensity.]
Looks like a giant, weird rabbit of sorts.

[She smiles as she speaks.]

You said the game was called Smash Kangaroo. [He knows has a bad feeling about it, Kangaroo look cute.]

[It's not what it sounds like.]
It's a game where you are a Kangeroo and you jump on boxes to collect gems if you get them all. You have bosses and such to deal with along the way. It's a fun game.

[She has an idea though.]
Um...how to explain bosses. You have enemies and then you have bosses. Bosses are usually like ten times stronger than a normal enemy.... If that makes sense.
no subject
I get it, it's a superior enemy. Bosses is a funny way to define them, though.

It's not. That would be an awful game. [Yet would be okay shooting aliens and the like... If they are trying to kill her it's self-defense in games, right?]
That's right, though how is it a funny way?
Video;
[Way to much into gaming, at least more comfortable about it anyway. But for now, she turns her device around to show her at least a good few.]
I also do have computers.
Video;
[It will do for now, but an actual desktop is more ideal for her.]
About how much were they?
Video;
[It was a short while since she got hers really.]

[Kay has shot at plenty of aliens that had tried to kills him, it's totally fair.]
Because you use boss as a word instead of just enemy.
no subject
[She paused briefly.]
Yeah but if you call everyone the same thing there would be no difference between the major threat and just the enemies you shoot every few seconds. I think it's just to show the difference.
no subject
[They are awful monsters, Chiaki, you really don't want to know more.]
I'm my world we just call the bad guys by their names. It causes less confusion.
no subject
[Because that is the question to ask.]
I see. Video games are different. I mean the characters in the games and such say the bad guy's name, but we call them bosses due to difficulty.
no subject
[Kay thinks it's a legit question.]
Understood. I never played any game, so I had no idea.

Maybe I'll show you a video game someday. Minus the one, I am currently playing.

That could be fun, thank you.
