[Action] Mechaknight Arrival
System startup... Complete. Begin internal system diagnostic.
[A man decked in blue armor has awakened. A cold, dead stare not giving an iota of a damn.]
Complete. Detected damage to outer layer. All systems nominal. Soma operational. Error. Jet propulsion disabled. Repairs required.
Location: Unknown. Location of allies unknown. New primary objective: Locate and continue protection of "Kohaku." Proceeding with search and rescue.
[Kunzite drops his full weight into the water of the bay as he walked like a man on a mission out into the city. His cold, computing gaze shifts from left to right, taking in the sights and registering what he observed in his internal memory with incredible speed. It only took one passing glance.]
Error. City not on known charts.
[He soon finds and approaches the welcoming hologram. Kunzite proceeds with scanning the device.]
Subject identified. Name: Weiss Schnee. Assessment: Owner of Schnee Company, probable leader of city. Threat level: Unknown. New locations registered: Genessia City. Nova City. Fayren City. Attleton. Everglade.
[He got all that just by scanning the basics of the holo projector. Now he just listens to the explanation.]
Error. Transportation through dimensions not possible. Possible reference to "Spiria Link." Scanning... Complete. Location does not match known Spiria Nexus.
New secondary objective: Search "Weiss Schnee" for questioning.
[Kunzite finished his initial assessment of his surroundings and now has objectives. He can be found running in the direction of the Nova gate. The Mechaknight himself can be found in both Genessia and Nova.]

What's the hurry?
[Action]
"My, what big horns you have!"
Re: [Action]
Subject: Clown. Assessment: Already a joke.]
Error. The popular story never contained the sentence, "My, what big horns you have."
no subject
It is imperative that I find my master.
Re: [Action]
[Harsh, but fair.]
Well, you know how adaptations can be. You're an ardent admirer of such fine fairy tales, then?
Re: [Action]
[Though any modern ones he may have picked up from the children themselves during his travels with Kor]

Looks like your looking for something.

Re: [Action]
[Purge the inhumans]
What else would your master have of you, aside from entertaining children or...himself?

[Kunzite had stopped briefly to recalculate his position. He also took a moment to scan these creatures, and their owner.
He won't say what his scans say, nor will he say anything else.]
no subject
The subject I am to protect is named "Kohaku." She is in danger.
Re: [Action]
[Beryl and her teaching Kunzite weird phrases and spoonerisms.]
Re: [Action]
[Since he's being so accommodating, Ted will none-too-subtly peer around and take a gander at Kunzite from every angle. Just admiring the craftsmanship, you understand.]
"Are you always this much fun? No, don't answer that. Rhetorical question. Here's a real one: what bees' wax have you that I can have too?"
Re: [Action]
I am a guardian created to protect my master, Lithia. I have been given an artificial Spiria Nexus, allowing to experience emotion. I am equipped with a Soma, named Vex, to enable me to carry out my duties as a guardian.

But possibly the bigger question is, can he even help?]
Kohaku's Spiria has been fragmented. Without all shards of the Spiria Core, my master is not whole.
Re: [Action]
"Goodness! If I only knew all those words. And what do you do when there's no Lithia to protect?"
Re: [Action]
If you know the where-abouts, tell me.
no subject
[He figured that would be a better question to ask right now.]
no subject
[Now surely that was specific enough. Kunzite will now be expecting information.]
Re: [Action]
[Certainly isn't!]
Sorry, friend.
[He says, with a comforting hand on the shoulder.]
You're a ways away from just about every proper noun you've known. Hence, why it's so important to get your feet back under you and fulfill your God-given purpose, and none too soon! That's why I asked.
Re: [Action]
Re: [Action]
[Stubborn robutt, ain't he?]
I must..not be making myself clear. It simply isn't possible to get back to them, I'm afraid. No proper nouns, remember? None from back home, anyway.
[Maybe a change of subject is in order.]
Speaking of which, what's yours? I haven't gotten your name yet.
Re: [Action]
[Says a robutt who can venture into Spiria Nexus.]
My designation is Kunzite.
Re: [Action]
[He folds his arms with a small sigh. St. Monica, patron saint of patience, guide him.]
Well, Kunzite, let's say, hypothetically, whether by dimension or some other mysterious mechanism, you were spatially separated for an indeterminate amount of time. What then?
Re: [Action]
Systems indicate there are one hour, thirty-two minutes, and nineteen seconds unaccounted for.
There is a 72 percent probability my removal from the prime world occurred during that time.
Re: [Action]
[Gonna jot that down right away. He knew the time? It took a feature-length movie for the world to move them? And...was there consistency between the bodies? He's getting excited. Which means he needs to calm down and not draw too many conclusions from strange purple robots.]
Good! So you acknowledge the possibility that you're on a secondary world, then, with not a familiar soul in sight. What would your prime directives have of you?
Re: [Action]
Re: [Action]
[Yeah she's a witch and should be hung. But the robot seems determined. Maybe he can intercept.]
Hmm. Information to what end? What do you need to know? Not assembling an encyclopedia, I hope.
Re: [Action]
If escape is not possible, I will assist to the full extent of my parameters.
no subject
[Not helpful at all more than likely.]
I mean if you master is named Spiria and they are here, however, there name should appear in the device.
no subject
[A device. Kunzite found one, yes. Perhaps a more thorough scan was in order.]
no subject
Re: [Action]
I agree with half of that. Escape? Whatever for? Seems like a waste after going through all the trouble of arriving.
no subject
Re: [Action]
Error. I see no logical reasoning to subjecting oneself to captivity willingly.
no subject
However, two questions, are you aware you were transported mysteriously to another world?
If not, what makes you think their spiria will even be here. It could very well be where you left it.
Re: [Action]
[Trying? Well, it can't be more absurd than using philosophy.]
Consider! Suppose you are here to fulfill some good purpose? Put on this world for a reason? Your logic only makes sense if your coming is in vain. But that's a hasty conclusion you've assumed without evidence. To try and quit the place so soon is...well, it's not very sporting, for one!
Also! I forget the precise chain of reasoning, but current theory holds that your time here is no tax. That is, the Kunzite from wherever you've hailed is arrested not one whit. Even if you succeeded where all had failed and found a way back, it would profit naught! You would, at best, simply be resuming one quest and abandoning another. But this secondary journey you find yourself in is no drain; it can't hurt things, whatever else. Shouldn't you, then, do what good you can so long as you're in it?
no subject
[Which puts him in a bind. He needs to follow his prime directive.]
Re: [Action]
The games "Genessia" plays is of no concern of mine.
[He with still try to find a way to return. He has a duty and unless he's convinced otherwise, he will not rest.]
Re: [Action]
"But that's narrow!", Ted protested. "Is your master all that's important? And even if that were so, I've just explained that there is no abandonment! Nothing has been waylaid or frustrated; this is a free detour! There's no penalty; it's on the house! I don't know how else to say it."
no subject
But since your master isn't here, what do you intend to do? Kind of difficult to find his spiria isn't it?
Re: [Action]
Does not compute. It is impossible. Do you have evidence to support your claim?
no subject
Current primary objective is to locate a means to leave Genessia and return to my master.
no subject
[or at least he's about 78.8932% sure.]
Re: [Action]
"Impossible", eh? A careless word, I think you'll find.
Well...I can't demonstrate something so abstract, but I believe the reasoning goes something like this. You've still got your memories, obviously, and believe they're based upon something real. Very well; we've a mystical device called the Dream Docks which can add even more memories. Sometimes even alter your body entirely! Now, it's presumed that these memories share the same source; that there's a connection between this world and their origin. That would mean that your world was still proceeding apace.
Some people have used these Dream Docks. They never report that the memories acquired thereby account for their absence. There's no noted break; as though one's home world had gone along as though they'd never left.
Do you see the implication? If we assume that these Dreams have a solid foundation, we can also assume that our world is going just as it always would have. Not to imply determinism, mind; that's beyond the scope of the argument. Hence, we may conclude that our world marks not our absence, and we are free to apply our might, mind, heart and strength to this one without anxiety.
[Deep breath.] But even if all those presumptions didn't hold water, you'd be seeking a far off good instead of a near one, which isn't quite moral. An upshot: you're stuck with us, so you might as well make the best of it! However stubborn you are of doing so.
no subject
[He paused for a moment.]
But as I said if Kohaku is now the name...if you can't find them on the device, they aren't here.
no subject
The mechanoid has the device, but hasn't seen much value in it. But if this man is to believed, he can use it to see of anyone from his world is here.]
I will take this into consideration. Thank you.

[He points in the direction that it was.]
