Who: Sai and Gaara
What: Sai checking out the extent of his injuries and meeting the Kazekage.
When: After this.
Where: Not far from The Bay area
Rating: PG+??
Well, after that rather...eventful encounter, Sai couldn't honestly say he had a great first impression of the place. If everyone was like that, there, then the lesson had definitely been learned. The black-haired teen had been forced into a retreat by the stranger- something he wasn't incredibly thrilled with. He didn't have time for such a pointless battle, however. Even if he didn't have a long list of other things to be doing, he still wouldn't have given a fight with that stranger even the faintest of consideration. He had no reason to fight with him.
...Sparring was an entirely different matter, of course.
Not longer after Sai reappeared from his vanishing act, he immediately took to the trees and roofs. Once he was certain that he was not being followed, he landed on the ground behind a building and leaned against the wall. Only after his adrenaline had stopped pumping so harshly, was he actually feeling his injuries. Not that he couldn't handle it, of course. Speaking of, he was glancing down at his side. It was a piece of wood that appeared to be approximately ten centimeters long (that was visible) and five centimeters wide. Well, obviously, it needed to come out, but...it'd be wiser to wait until he had something to stop whatever bleeding would occur. Also, maybe he just really didn't want to take it out.
That wasn't the only thing he had to worry about, however. First, his leg had been sliced into pretty badly. Looking down at it, something...else caught his attention. His brow tensed as he studied the surrounding area. It was covered in approximately five more smaller pieces of wood- ...splinters. He must have obtained them after the stranger had cut through the trunk of that tree. His leg wasn't the only part of him with the pieces of wood sticking into them. He could feel his heart speeding up a bit as his breath very lightly caught...
Because, that...definitely wasn't good. There weren't many things he could feel emotions towards, but he...hated splinters.
