Dazed and Confused
Yaag opened his pale lavender eyes to gaze through blurred vision. He remembered his encounter in Eden and wondered if he managed to survive. That was impossible. He took a grenade at point blank range. There was no surviving that. Not with the wounds he had sustained on top of that. But he was breathing without pain.
His memories were intact. He didn't think he was cloned. Even the fal'Cie weren't capable of bringing back the dead so effortlessly and without some sort of suffering to carry with him. He groaned and sat up just as the capsule opened. His head pounded. Maybe it was possible.
He lifted his gloved hand to press the heel of his hand against his forehead with a groan. "Where am I?"
He looked around him and then down to notice the heavy necklace and the pamphlet. Thankfully, it was written in a language he could understand and read through it. He sat it aside and looked to his left to see another closed capsule next to him.
