Muffled Dogsong in the distance. [Video/Maybe Action?]

[Someone had nabbed one of the many dogs that got loose earlier in the week, two weeks?. Eh they had grabbed a fluffy white dog from the mass of them that had been running wild and Chara had a plan.

Which was simply find where their most favourite skeleton was staying and toss the dog onto Sans while laughing. Of course it can't go off without a hitch, as their phone slips out of their pocket and turns on.

The sight everyone gets to see is mostly white wiggling dog legs, with a kids arm in a green and yellow striped sweater holding onto the source of said wiggling doggo and really it's just a shitty angle.]

Calm down, you fluffer butt. [Yes, that was Chara just calling the dog some weird cutesy nickname. The dog is a dog and just wiggles some more.] This isn't going to work if I drop you...

[A brief pause as the scene of dog butt gets closer as Chara crouches and then realizes something.]

... I really hope you didn't eat my phone. [Spoken from experience, before the video clicks off. Still showing dog bottom.]

[ Drawls: ] They make leashes, y'know.

[Bugger, bugger, bugger. They heard that and there is some shifting of dog so they can actually reply properly to whoever is speaking to them via phone.]

A leash would just get in the way, I gotta be able to toss this thing without it getting caught.

[While Chara may have won against Shinjiro? The dog has won against them, as their victory laugh is cut off by the dog finally making it's escape.

And Chara shoving their phone into a pocket to go chase after it.]

[Aww a girl and their dog, how cute, athough if she was talking the dog for a walk she should probably let the dog use it's own legs; the dog did look like it was tired of being carried.

He did think about going over and asking if the girl needed help, but sometimes dogs just didn't like him.

It was only after the girl moved on that Helgi noticed the object on the floor.]

Uh oh...

[Helgi didn't like the idea of the kid out alone with no phone if something happened so he picked it up and went after her.]

Hey, hey miss? You dropped your phone.

[Helgi would hear Chara say that line about the dog eating their phone, if he's paying attention.

And calling Chara miss is certainly a... thing, as they turn to look at the source of the voice with a confused look on their face.]

[More dog wiggling as well.]

[Metal has been moving back and forth between Genessia City and Nova; he wants to set up over there, but at the same time, he's still got the room where he started out. He's getting into the habit of patrolling as well, so fate ends up putting him in Chara and "fluffer-butt's" path.

That voice is familiar.]

Oh, please don't tell me I ran into-

[And that's when he notices the dog and just... freezes.]

[Oh boy, and it's not Chara who takes notice of Metal Man but...

The dog, which makes it's bold escape from Chara's grasp and goes right for the robot.

While barking, bark bark bark! And Chara is following it, shouting a bit.]

Ah stupid dog stop!

[Metal is a combat robot. He's fought both his creator's rival's creations and his own brothers. For all his many weaknesses and shortcomings in terms of design, he's not the sort of machine who should be intimidated by a dog.

And yet, he sure is turning and running as the animal begins chasing him.]

GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!

[That "thing" will not get away from Metal, because in the dog's little doggy mind? Metal is now prey for it to chase, the dog ignoring Chara chasing after it so it can keep after Metal.

Bark bark!]

[And that leaves Metal scrambling up the nearest tall thing, which happens to be a light post. He looks around frantically, trying to find someone- ah, there's the boy he saw with the dog at first.

Let's forget that he sounded like the one who'd annoyed him when he first got here.]

You! GET YOUR ANIMAL UNDER CONTROL!

[BARK BARK BARK BARK, at least the dog is staying in one spot so Chara won't have too much trouble catching up. They stand to the side of the dog and lamp post since Chara most certainly doesn't want to get in the way.

Especially since Metal Man is screaming at them.]

[Helgi rubs the back of his head Miss seemed better than 'Hey you' but maybe it had been a bit too polite.]

[Helgi glanced at the wiggling dog he looked happy enough, if a handful.]

Kinda ironic since you were joking about this guy eating it...do you need a hand with him by the way?

[Because girl you look like you're about to drop him.]

[Just gendered anything in regards to themselves is not something Chara ever expects, heck basic politeness is always surprising too.]

[They sort of jostle the dog a bit, which makes it let out a disgruntled chuff, before taking their phone back with the hand that's not holding onto a dog.]

[Metal just continued to cling for dear life.]

[This is even more hilarious because the dog is such a tiny thing. So big bad robot Metal Man is afraid of a small dog.

That is still bark bark barking. While Chara just makes a face while looking up at Metal.]

Ummmm... No, I can always grab a different dog for what I'm planning, in fact I think I'll go do that.

[And they are making like they're going to leave.]

[There's a schwing!, and all of a sudden, a saw blade is thrown immediately in front of Chara's path, embedding itself in the ground.]

I said get rid of your dog! You can't leave me like this!

[Now if Chara was a normal person? That saw blade would have made them jump, and even consider not walking off.

But Chara is anything but normal. They're just going to hop over that saw blade and turn to give Metal a shit eating grin.]

[Before Metal could finish, the groan and bending of metal could be heard. From the post Metal was clinging to.

Turns out very heavy robots made of metall alloys shouldn't climb heavy polls, cuz now it's falling over and poised to land on Chara and the mutt.]

[The dog isn't dumb, even if one would think it is, because as soon as the dog heard the groan of the metal? It yipped and started to run off. So the dog is much smarter than Chara.

Since they're caught off guard by suddenly robot and pole heading for them that it's just by pure chance they even attempt to dodge. But not fast enough as it totally gets one of their legs.

And yet they don't shout or make any sound of pain.]

[Metal is so heavy, he actually leaves a sizable dent in the ground. He's also dazed, and it takes a moment for his systems to stablize.]

Hrngh. See...zzt...see what you did? Now I'll probably have to pay to get that fixed...

[Man good thing the part of the pole that got Chara was further down from where Metal's fat robot butt is, or this would have been much messier.

That and the dog has come back and is barking and circling around the child, so unless Metal wants to deal with the dog again to get at Chara? Well he's SOL.

And at what Metal says? They're not even listening, instead more focused on trying to get their caught leg out before any nosy folks come to see this fucked up little scene.]

[Metal glared, and sat up, frowning.]

Why aren't you saying anything you little twer- Oh.

[He's hurt his leg. And it's trapped under the poll. And the dog is still there.

He's going to get in trouble for this. Shit.

... Hold on. Hey boy, go, on, fetch!

[He's going to toss a Metal Blade into the street, hoping the dog sees it like a frisbee and takes off after it. Then he's going to lift the poll off of Chara, and toss it away.]

Can you walk?

[Bark bark, the dog totally falls for it. Chasing after the Metal Blade, yapping all the way.

And to answer Metal's question, they don't. Not really.]

You shouldn't throw something like that for a dog to go after, idiot.

[Thank god.]

[He's going to move to pick up Chara and throw him over his shoulder like a sack of feed.]

I can walk just fine!

[They may protest but it's not like they're putting up much of a fight against Metal when he picked them up.

No point, at least not until they're a good bit away from the area that is.]

Look, I'm no expert on how you humans fit together, but your leg is clearly broken.

[He can tell because at least RECOGNIZING things like that was programmed into him on account of all the... accidents Wily tended to have.]
