[Kyrie appears on the video feed once again, although the serene looking girl definitely seems...out of it. She's lethargic and her speech is slowed. Unfortunately, she can't really get any paler than she already is, but even her eyes seem less dim than usual.]

Ah...my time at the common space is almost up. Would...would anyone be willing to lend me a room in exchange for cooking or healing?

...or if someone is hiring that could use either of those skills?

I would appreciate it...thank you.

Help?

[ What a strange question to ask. Is Kyrie not human? She wouldn't have guessed! (She never guessed about quite a few people, but Konoka is just not the judgmental type). ]

Oh, sure! How can I help?

I need you to come to Fayren.

[Kind of cryptic, but she seems earnest, if not exhausted.]

You'll understand. [She hopes. Poor thing's found someplace quiet to sit because she can't stand being around so many living creatures at the moment.]

Fayren?

Konoka was about to ask why, but the unspoken question got its answer faster than she could let the question leave her lips. She looks somewhat concerning, even weak.

Alright, I'll be right over.

[Kyrie nods, smiling faintly.]

Thank you. Kyrie will be...here.

[And she sends Konoka her current location, on the outskirts of the city.]

Alright.

[ Konoka immediately gathered her things (which was largely just her pactio card and summoning Yuunagi) before giving her other two Pokemon a command. ]

Mind the store for me, okay?

[ She began her travel to Fayren, it taking roughly half an hour as she hopped from bus to train. She eventually managed to see the woman who she talked to earlier in person for the first time. She seemed surprisingly small... and adorable, but that was neither here nor there. ]

[ Konoka ventures. ] Kyrie?

[She's definitely younger than she acts. The priestess has a hood up and she's sitting with her back up against the side of a building. She didn't even need to hear Konoka speak to know she was there. Kyrie could hear her heartbeat, smell what she craved flowing just beneath her skin.

It took an incredible amount of self control to prevent herself from attacking anyone so far, but even so, she dug her nails into her own arms to distract herself from her hunger.]

...you're here. Thank Silenna.

[There's a soft murmur that follows. Likely some words for her patron goddess before she slowly stands up, using the wall for support.]

I need...a huge favor. I'll pay you back somehow.

I would be willing, even though we don't know each other.

[At all, but it was getting kind of lonely living by oneself. More so when she only works by commission or at best three days a week.]

I think there are plenty of cafes and diners that are looking for people who can cook. Like you've got the diner I work at. You also have those... animal themed cafes as well as another example.

What kind of favor-- Oh geez, you look weak!

[ Konoka ignores any sense of distance and immediately tries to catch Kyrie before she falls over. She was feeling around for any signs of illness, including a pulse. However, even before the result of that, Konoka feels something about Kyrie, a something that reminds her of Eva. ]

You...?

You...would?

[It's true they don't know each other, but Kyrie would at least fill her in about herself before entering her home.]

That's very kind.

...animal themed cafés?

[That sounds interesting.]

What are those like?

[Well, one thing Konoka will not feel is a pulse, first of all. At least before Kyrie takes one of her hands, holding it weakly. She...also might be drooling a little.

...and when she speaks again, Konoka can probably catch a glimpse of fangs.]

Kyrie...is hungry. So hungry...

A vampire.

[ It sounded like a dramatic revelation, but for Konoka, vampires were not that large of a surprise. Perhaps the fact that Kyrie was a priestess might be surprising, since nothing had suggested that she was fake, nor did she seem the type to try and compose a trap. If she truly wanted to live as a more wicked vampire, she would have approached this entirely differently.

The hesitation was merely Konoka going over these facts before she decided to lean down. ]

Well, I'll let you feed. You can't have too much, okay.

[Most vampires are not looked upon too kindly in Crescentia, and for good reason. Many of them are incredibly violent and care not for whom they decide to feast upon. Even Kyrie is still pretty nervous around those she hasn't known for a while.

The fact that she's a priestess in addition to being a vampire is incredibly surprising for most. The undead typically don't mix with the divine very well.

Kyrie blinks. Konoka was taking this...exceptionally well. Maybe she was right to ask her after all. Even so, she shakes a little as she slowly lifts up the other girl's arm.]

Just...enough to live. I promise. It...it might feel a little strange, though.

Ah.

[ Something made Konoka wonder how this girl became a vampire, or did so without losing her divinity. But that would be a question for a bit later. The real challenge now, was just letting her bite. ]

Strange? Does it... feel good?

[ She's heard of (and seen) both sides of that spectrum, though most of her experience has been limited to Eva, Dracula, and a stray few in Everglade. ]

[That's not a story Kyrie's really ever told anyone. Perhaps in the future. There's a pause, but Kyrie nods in response to the question. There's a reason many 'donors' come back again and again.

And Konoka was about to learn why firsthand. The priestess pulls back Konoka's sleeve provided she has them and bites down on her forearm. Yeah, it's going to hurt for a moment, but after that, a warm, tingling sensation spreads rapidly from the wound. It's extremely pleasant, and will likely leave the poor girl with a warm high for an hour or two afterwards.

...and that's in addition to feeling a little woozy after Kyrie has her fill! It doesn't take very long before she releases Konoka's arm with a satisfied sigh. The silver-haired priestess already looks much healthier.]

Ah...thank you, Miss Konoe.

[ Konoka whimpered at first, expecting the bite to be a little painful, but... just like some of things she read (and heard rumors about Eva), she then felt a pleasant tingling. It made her whimper slightly, as it made her body shiver in some strange delight. Wow, did vampire bites feel that good? ]

Ooh... you're welcome.

[ Konoka put a hand on her chest to catch her breath, and try and get control of her body's strange feelings. ]

[Thankfully, Kyrie is neither malicious or possesses that predator instinct many others of her kind do, otherwise Konoka might have needed a trip to the hospital or worse.

She presses her fingers to the puncture marks before murmuring, her fingers glowing as she seals up those holes. She might as well heal it for her. It won't do much about the wooziness or the high, but the priestess felt it was common courtesy.]

Will you be alright? Do you need help walking back to someplace safe?

Yes. They are quite interesting. I heard the food is good and you are surrounded by cute animals.

It doesn't sound too bad really. From what I know you have one with cat's, dog's and they recently opened a bunny cafe.

Yeah, I mean I have plenty of space for at least one other.

Though one would need to be okay with all the painting supplies and fabric.

[ Konoka took a deep breath, trying to ignore the shivers going through her body. ]

I should be alright, but the gesture is welcome.

[ Konoka noticed the healing. ]

Oh, that's nice. I tend to be the one doing that these days, so it's rare I see other healers at work.

Oh!

I like the sound of that.

[Especially the bunny one! Most cats and dogs are not fond of her.]

I don't particularly mind.

[A pause.]

...you're not afraid of bats, are you?

[While Kyrie remains the same incredibly pale shade she normally is, she definitely seems much more lively. The vampire flexes her fingers for a few seconds, as if checking to make sure they were working properly.]

Hm...if you're sure, I won't pester you about it.

[She nods and smiles at the other girl.]

It's the least I can do. If you ever need my assistance, I owe you.

Please don't worry about me. I promise I'm alright.

[ She also has a Pokemon for protection. ]

But we should meet again. Consider that the main part of the favor you owe me!
