[The sound of breaking glass can be heard followed by a very rage filled scream. Someone woke up to a very earth shattering discovery this evening. She always feared this would happen and now that it has... Rip's anger and sorrow can practically be felt reverberating through her device as there's a frantic sound of motion before her device clicks on to video.

For a brief moment, there's the sight of her tiny pumpkaboo who looks really worried before it darts behind the camera. When Rip comes into view she's reaching for her musket. Her long hair hides her face but, the rage is hard to miss in her every motion as she grabs her gun and heads for the door only to pause.

She moves towards her device and grabs it.]

He's gone.

[That's all she has to say before she clicks off her device.]

ACTION
[Rip's not taking Namur's leaving well. At all. More than a few random people might just be lying dead or dying in the wake of her passing as she heads towards Everglade. Once there, no one is safe from her rage.]

Happy birthday to me.

[She grins as she holds up her device. The Huntress is sitting on a beach somewhere bathed in moonlight as the sound of waves accompany her post. Curled up in her hair is her pumpkaboo who just so happens to be peeking out at her device.]

It's been a wild year, don't you think? But, I haf enjoyed it und hope zhe good times keep coming...it's...been vonderful.

[Her grin fades into a slight smile. yes, this was very different from the way she quietly celebrated her birthday last year. Now, people actually knew about it.]

[Somewhere in the eternal night, a bell tolled the midnight hour. From on high the tone swept down, down, through the towers and halls, through stone and steel and earth, disturbing the fitful slumber of a thousand thousand horrors and creatures of the night. A veritable cloud of bats took wing, emerging from all around the ancient castle to swarm around the master's throne room, perched high atop its tower.

As the last bell tolled, the flock dissipated, keening a note of grief as one. The Master was gone - the throne sat vacant. The very earth beneath the castle trembled with his departure, returned whence he came by the whims and vagaries of this world.

But the castle did not fall, as was its wont when he was vanquished. Its walls held firm, its towers unbroken, its dungeons and halls and secret places still whole. For somewhere close by, it sensed another - the interloper, the one who refused to embrace himself. He would do - until such a time as the Master returned, he would do.

Chaos whispered in the night, and the castle changed - the shadows lessened, the crimson patina of anger and hatred washed away by a flood of silver moonlight. The moon above the castle revealed from behind clouds was no longer scarlet, but silver - a reflection of the state of the master's heart.]

Vell, I don't haf to ask vat time of year it is...

[Rip's device is gently bobbing up and down as it floats near her. Rip's currently sitting on her living room floor with a small.. grey bunny on her lap that seems to be shedding literal cotton balls that are sticking to the sleeves of her button up shirt and her slacks. There's even a few broken eggshells not far from her....

Beyond that, Rip's... hair is a neon purple instead of its usual raven black and she looks a little annoyed by the change. She's trying to pick the cotton balls off of her but the more she tries, the more there seems to be.]

I vonder if Namur likes hasenpfeffer.

[Yes, she might be glaring at the rabbit in her lap when she says that despite how cute and innocent it looks.]

Und Pumpkin, put zhe device avay. I've told you more times zhan I can count not to play vith it.

It seems like there were a lot of departures as of late. Unfortunately, Ace and Sabo, my captain's brothers, were among them. Shame that Luffy couldn't be here to see them, but they'll be missed.

[With that, Jinbei downs the sake, setting the empty cup on the table before continuing.]

I probably should have told them more about Luffy's adventures while I was here, but it's probably for the best that I didn't - last I saw, he was taking on one of the most influential people in the world, and preparing to take on one of the strongest, so I'm sure it'd just worry them.

[His serious expression gives way to a hint of nervousness; he's not overly sure about asking for advice.]

I... also had another purpose for making this video. Work has proven to be more difficult than I figured; I've been tasked with showing a zombie woman "the time of her life", and all I know about zombies is that they can't eat anything salty. I'd appreciate any advice that I can get.

You know, zhis isn't my favorite holiday.

[For once her apartment wasn't decorated to reflect the holiday. Instead, Rip's sitting on her couch with a hot cup of something in her hands as she gazed into it. She even had a blanket on her lap, covering her legs.

Rip takes a moment before she takes a sip of her drink and frowns into the hot liquid as her Swoobat cuddled up to her. ]

Halloween und Christmas are my two favorite holidays. Zhis one never really meant much to me ozher zhan an over abundance of annoying candy I cannot eat und overly sappy gestures. But, at least zhere are no annoying living teddy bears looking for attention, glitterbombs or festivals.

[She sighed and pulled the blanket tighter against her.]

I vill just be happy if zhis holiday passes vithout incident.

[Something bumps against a certain huntress's phone and the next thing the network is greeted with is a sideways recording for a few moments before it rights itself of a very VERY over decorated apartment with lights and garland around the windows, snowflakes hanging from the ceiling and a tree that is loaded with decorations and surprisingly strung popcorn and electric candles. There's even an advent wreath on the kitchen table just off to the side of the video with four candles along with a plate of sweets despite the fact that Rip can't eat the cookies herself. There's already a few presents under the tree and Rip can be seen off to the side wearing this and a pair of leggings while working at a pretty heavy duty sewing machine with bits of leather on the table and on the floor. It's obvious she's working on something... it's just hard to tell what.]

Pumpkin, hand me zhe scissors....

[Rip's cute little pumpkaboo darts into frame with a pair of scissors in its vines to give to her as she's working on marking something out...A bag maybe? Or some sort of leather thing...As Rip works she starts to hum the tune to 'Jingle bells' but, when she starts singing, it's soft and most definitely in German. Once she's done, she slips into another Christmas song .... Rip may not be aware that she's treating the whole of the network to a private concert just a few days away from Christmas...and is that tinsel braided into her hair? Probably. The Huntress apparently really likes the holidays....]

[Well, that sucked, waking up in a new place for the umpteenth millionth time. But this time it wasn't some planet to be conquered or waking up in what was essentially Hell. Given the information presented to him, as despite the appearance he was still keen to learn what the hell was going on in his surroundings, this wasn't... some new brand of Hell for him. Huh.

Which might be why that screen is flicking on with the appearance of this man probably being a little more intimidating than most. Even if he's merely got his arms crossed and leaning against a wall of a building not far from the Bay.]

Useful information to have right out of the gate, appreciated. But two questions extra.

One: Anyone know the logistics of being, what I can only assume, alive again? I seem to have the whole flesh and blood and breathing thing again but I'd rather not press that luck in case there's a catch to it.

Two: Nearest clothing store, this weather is garbage and clearly this isn't doing anything to help with the temperature.

It's that time of the year again, isn't it?

[Have a mildly unimpressed dhampir making a face in regards to the Guardian debates. While he hasn't been keeping a close eye on the event, he certainly can't believe he's been in Genessia long enough to witness another change of hands. It's a little...humbling. Why? Well, Augustine never expected his stay in Genessia to be an indefinite one.]

Lovely. Now we sit back and listen to the candidates spout endlessly about working for the greater good and all that nonsense. The usual campaign pageantry we're used to by now.

[Well! A certain someone is feeling quite cynical today despite looking quite handsome in an all black ensemble. There's hints of red here and there but it's all so discreet.]

In any case, I'm in need of some holiday cheer. So, I was wondering if anyone is interested in decking the metaphorical halls with me, preferably with candy canes and eggnog.

[Knowing him, he's mentioning the eggnog loaded with alcohol.]

Although, this begs the question...who actually celebrates Christmas here? [Good question, right? Augustine is actually curious about this.] So many of us hail from various different worlds and such, so is Christmas honestly a holiday that is celebrated largely here?

Or does it go by other names, perhaps? I know I heard someone refer to it as "Starlight" before.

[It had been a trying time since returning to this place for Vlad. With the appearance of his son, and the wielder of the Vampire Killer, he'd been far more tense than usual. Couple that with Lisa's arrival as well, and the Spirit of Chaos being more chatty than normal, and Vlad was struggling to keep his mind his own. Even as he waged his war on humanity he'd always kept his mind about him, even if the Spirit whispered guidance to him. Now though, he was struggling to maintain himself.]

[As such after dusk, Vlad took to the streets of Everglade, but not in his normal regal garb. Instead he took the form of an ancient man, small, wrinkled and bent, wearing a nondescript brown robe with a rope tied around a few vials of various colored potions serving as a belt. He needed to put some distance between him and the spirit for the moment, and would gladly keep up the charade should anyone approach, but to those with senses for such things he would not hide either.]

You know, it iz getting close to zhat time of year vhere trees get decorated, carols are blasted in all zhe stories und zhose of us vho like music curse out every composer vho ever thought zhat singing about Christmas vas a vonderful idea.

[Despite her word's, Rip looks pretty amused as she sits in her living room. Her Pumpkaboo is nestled under her hair on her shoulder seemingly napping while Rip toys with some sort of carving. From the looks of it, it might be made out of bone... regardless of the material, Rip's put several designs on it that seem to mean something to her as she runs her fingers over the small object before turning her attention back to her device.]

Which brings me to a question, vhere is a good place to get carving und leather materials around here? I'm looking for suggestions so I can pick up a few old hobbies of mine once more. Vhy bozher shopping for gifts for zhe holidays vhen I can make zhem~.

[Not to mention, this is the first year where buying gifts was an actual possibility. Rip's not to sure how to feel about that.]

I might even be villing to make zhings for people if zhey are villing to pay.

[ It would seem as if not even the son of Dracula himself is immune to the effects of this world and the dhampir has now become fully human and lost all his vampire abilities inherited from his father. Thankfully? This is for a short time, so he's heard through various mumblings. But in the meantime, he feels completely vulnerable for the first time in his entire life and he is not so sure what to make of it.

Despite the fact that his father has returned to this world and he would be utterly powerless against him should tempers clash with one another, he still weaves his way through the supernatural city, though keeps more to the well-lit areas and not so much within the dense fog as before. His demeanor remains the same despite his lack of vampiric abilities and much as before, he can be found within Periodicals and Paperbacks, searching for more books that perhaps might pertain to this current state various individuals seem to be in. Should he be within the city during the evening and those with new and uncontrollable hungers happen to be lurking about, do not think that he won't retaliate with sword at his side should the need arise. While he may be human, that is not to say that he is still not a master swordsman. ]

[ At some point during his days of being human, he will be found at Bright Sky Diner, finding himself starved and looking over the menu which has been handed to him at the counter, looking rather confused at it and the burgers, fries, and milkshakes that it seems to offer. Genessia General Hospital will also be a spot where he is though not for reasons a vampire/dhampir might ordinarily be there for and, rather, to inquire about what sort of medicines exist within this world. Moonbucks, admittedly, might have caught his eye at some point, though he will not be so adept in knowing much of the various drinks they offer aside from the basic teas which is what he very well may order and when prompted to add anything to eat with that, he might seem a bit confused, for none of these treats are anything which he is familiar with... in more than a couple ways. Other than that, Memoria Park is one other place that he can be found, coming to look over this large granite wall which rests beneath a large tree within the park. There are names here of those who have passed, in a sense, from this world and while he has only just arrived himself and not had much time to make proper acquaintances, there is perhaps one name in particular he is curiously looking for. ]

[The camera clicks on to find Rip humming to her self and carving pumpkins in the kitchen of her apartment somewhere around sundown. There is a soft sound of 'pumpkaboo' from somewhere behind her device, cluing in just what kind of mischief one of her pokemon was getting into tonight. Apparently Pumpkin wanted to show off the apartment as it twisted around and well...

Rip apparently went a little overboard with the Halloween decorations. There were plastic bats hanging from the ceiling, skeleton's on the windows and various bat, pumpkin and ghost themed items strewn all around the apartment to celebrate the holiday. Most of them looked like something one would buy from the store. A few others though? Looked a little questionable.

Like the deer skull sitting on the coffee table with intricate designs carved into it. That thing looked like it just might be real.. or any of the other bone like items that might be strategically placed around the room. ]

Pumpkin? Vat are you doing.. Get over here und put zhat down.

[The camera pans back over to Rip who is standing at the table with a glass in hand. To anyone that didn't know what she was, it might look like a Bloody Mary drink. Well.... that wasn't too far off. She looks amused at her floating device and goes to take a drink just as the sun sets beyond the horizon and night falls.. No sooner is the drink in her mouth than she tenses and then rushes into the kitchen off screen. There's the sound of something being spit out quickly along with coughing and a bit of gagging.]

Vat zhe hell !? Zhat tasted fine a few minutes ago...

[Action for Genessia and Everglade]

It was about noon, and everything seemed normal for the most part. However, there seemed to be an unusual amount of bats hanging around the buildings during the day in the main city. The Bay was another story as a rather angry vampire lord awoke. As he rose from the pod, he could still feel his castle's presence within the realm, so that was of minor comfort. Still, the indignity of being separated from it, even for a short time was not something he could simply ignore.

The increased bat activity seemed to grow as the bats became more vocal and agitated as the minutes went on until finally The Bay virtually exploded with a cloud of the shrieking flying rodents. They swarmed high in the air, in numbers enough to cast a rather sizable shadow on the ground, and at the center of that shadow stood Dracula, flames occasionally jumping from his eyes. He glided over the ground with a rather singular purpose, giving no thought or regard to anyone in his way, or traffic he disrupted. The cloud of angry bats would follow him on his march, one or two swooping down to intercept any car or civilian that got too close to their lord. However, once he reached the Everglade gateway, the bats dispersed, shrieking back to whatever holes they'd been summoned from.

Once in Everglade, a massive Skeleton that was missing its lower half would be dragging itself alongside Vlad, a bony hand hovering over the vampire to shield him from the sun. As he walked, more and more nightmare creatures began to materialize from the shadows forming quite the entourage until the streets themselves were packed with werewolves, demons, and the undead, all marching proudly alongside the King of Monsters.

Vlad's procession only stopped when they reached the gates of Castlevania, as the eternal night that shrouded the castle extinguished the sun, all that followed him to that point fell to a knee as best they could, remaining at the gates as Vlad entered his domain. Only then did the flames at his eyes subside as he sighed a sigh of relief. Once more, he was whole. And it was very clear that he had work to do to properly remind Genessia as a whole just what happens to those who cross the Demon Emperor Dracula.

[OOC: Anyone is more than welcome to attempt to break up the procession, or start conversation at any point in the trip to Everglade, however Dracula is going to be more focused on getting back to his castle than anything, traveling primarily in mist form to dissuade combat.]

[This feed starts off with a bang or rather a splash. A colorful stream of curses overpowers the commotion as this surly bloke struggles to get himself upright. After fighting his way out of this weird contraption (that subtly looks like some kind of egg or pod), Trevor finds himself knee deep in water. For the life of him, he couldn't remember the last few moments before he fell asleep. All he does remember is being lectured by Sypha and Alucard both. A memory he much rather forget considering the two of them are a pain the ass together. With a groan, Trevor Belmont speaks as he clutches onto this weird device.

So not only does God shit on me but he also pisses on me too?

[A huff escapes him as he peers down at this phone. Be damned if he knows what the fuck this is. Trevor never seen anything like it besides those queer crystal balls that mystic's use. While the shiny glass certainly reminds him of that, this shit looks like something that would be found in Dracula's accursed castle. The monster is actually a renown alchemist, isn't he? So claimed Alucard.

He stares at the device curiously as he dangles it above his head. Get a good look at that face, Genessia. He's going to be a known troublemaker around these parts.]

So the hell is this? [He questions as he sloshes through the water.] A parting gift from the tombs?

[Trevor scoffs.]

Not bloody likely---Ooof! [His foot slips and he crashes into the water a second time.]

FUCK!

[Trevor Belmont, ladies and gents.]

Everglade;《a c t i o n》

[After successfully cursing out the hologram and gaining some intel to boot, Trevor wanders around town until he finds the Everglade gate. Thinking it somehow could link him home, the hunter steps through only to find himself in a modern day looking Wallachia. He tenses visibly once the thick fog rolls in. Something about this place gives him the creeps despite it being early evening.

Trevor wanders from shop to shop, combing his way through the alleyways for the sake of exploration. Eventually he comes to a little store called Cloak & Dagger, a curious spot not for the faint of heart. There's a few daggers on display that caught his attention, some more exotic looking than the next. Trevor has hald the mind to buy something here but trying to learn this new currency is a bit of a stretch for him.

In search for information, Trevor takes to the streets again. The hunter wanders for awhile until it hits evening. It's then that he finds himself gripping the hilt of his whip a bit tighter. Just what sort of horrors lie here? That's a question Trevor isn't eager to find out. Wandering throughout the town in this dense fog, the Belmont stops briefly at another curious shop boasting exotic meats called Edible Alternatives. Of course he shies away from this particular establishment since it features some really odd foods that simply don't seem kosher. While Trevor will admit to eating sine unsavory things while on the road, he draws the line when the meat looks less than edible. Plus the butcher there simply gives him the creeps.

His next destination is inside the sinful temptations of Holy Diver, a bar and nightclub ironically inside of an old church. Fuck off. Using powers for personal gain falls under assault and is already covered by the legal code. I'm not going to outlaw people being born a certain way. Hell, if I'm being brutally honest here, the demon license I implemented was aimed primarily at one person.

Also, any heckling of or otherwise interfering with people based on some stupid notion of 'normies vs power' is going to be classified as disturbing the peace, and my deputies will arrest and fine you.
