I admit to being guilty of murder in this world, as well as my own. Yet no rule stops me from becoming a guardian candidate for one of the cities.
Just because I killed someone doesn't mean I couldn't be a good leader. Many murderers are actually rather capable of making good calls on important situations. Mine happened to be a more radical choice, when I decided to take Arlert's life.
My visions for Attleton aren't anything drastic. I just want to protect something I can call home, instead of wondering around without settling down. I want to be able to give a place to those who aren't very welcome in other places.
That doesn't mean I'll give the city full privileges for open murder. I'm not an idiot who would change Attleton into the murder capital, unlike some might think I am.
That's all I really have to say.

I did have a choice. I could have just walked away or maybe injured him. Yet I didn't, because I thought it would be good to get rid off him because I had a chance. [At the time, he might have thought it to be the only choice, but there had always been multiple choices for situations like that.] Is that what you wanted to hear?

There's no way you'd ever be any kind of capable leader. You're the kind of person who would leave people behind to save himself. I hope no one ever trusts you with anything.

I wouldn't leave my allies behind. I just don't have any of those in this world, so yeah, you're probably right.
[Actually, he does, but that's a secret. Jaune would probably flip if he knew though.]
That being said, I wouldn't leave Attleton in trouble if I was chosen. Other places, sure, but not that place.
Not that I expect you or anyone else to believe me.

[This whole conversation is beyond infuriating. Why can't he just stab Reiner or something? Why does he have to be on the side that follows the rules? He snuck into a school, that should give him room for taking out his anger on criminals...he'd probably lose his job though and Reiner would just come back.]
You're right. I don't.

[There's a casual shrug, but he seems like he means it genuinely.]
On personal levels, I like the atmosphere best there.
[It has nothing to do that someone he likes works there or anything. Nope. ]

Even if it gives you more of a chance, your chance of actually winning is still low. You're going to embarrass yourself. [Not that he cares, he's just being petty.]
[Said with the most mocking and happy tone before returning to a very monotone voicel.]
Oh no. I didn't think of that. How will I live with myself.
[He feels like something inside him died. More snarky than before:]
I can help you with the living problem.
I doubt you would be able to do anything to me.
But I don't want to give anyone a reason to feel bad for you and have them vote for you just because I defeated you.
The death of your pride, not so much.

...You know what, if you want to fight, I'll fight you. You're still a coward.
