[ Hello people, have a look at Mikaela looking more than a little befuddled, but otherwise normal. Kinda strange for someone who seems to be in Nova City currently. ]
Okay. So. Um. Looks like I can turn into a stone monster now?
A gargoyle if I have my Halloween creatures straight. Is this going to be permanent? Because I don't really mind as such, but not cool having that done without your permission. Anyway, anybody got flying tips for me? Or can explain how stone me can fly at all? I should be way too heavy. I also don't know how to control the change. I hope I get better at that.
So, yeah, sorry, but this is really, really weird.

Start off slow. Pick a place with a lot of buildings to rest on, or trees. Flying can be really tiring.
I was a fairy last year.

Wings and fairy dust and everything? Did you sparkle?

This is the second year I became a fairy. It's kind of fun, but also inconvenient...
[Like fear of getting blown away by wind, or getting pounced on by a cat.]
What I did to learn to fly was have a safe place to land. I practice fluttering my wings and then flutter around low to the ground. Then just progressed from there...
I honestly can't say how much time you need to learn, being a gargoyle.

Okay practice on the ground, and the other fairy said to be careful that I fly only where I have plenty of places to rest. That sounds doable. Flying should basically be flying, shouldn't it? Apart from the size.
[ You so tiny! ]

When the change happens, what are the variables? Are you under stress? Hungry? In danger...?

I've never seen anything like you before. My boyfriend also has wings but he doesn't turn into stone. I'd have noticed.

Maybe. I wish I had paid more attention when we talked about gods and mythological creatures and all that in school.

Perhaps you can find information about Gargoyles in the library. At least you know what you are, that helps.
I'm Scott, nice to meet you.

Gargoyle, you're alive during the night and have petrified skin and organs during the day.
My friend is turning into one as well and whipping up an antidote so she won't be petrified during the day.
Don't suppose you're interested.
Hallo, I'm The Doctor by the way.

Seriously? Your friend's working on that and she would share? Hell yes, count me in! I'm very interested. The whole stone thing sucks. I'd be grateful to her.
[ She eyes him for a bit, intrigued most of all by that gravity-defying hair. ]
I'm Mikaela. Mikaela Banes.

She's the one who's also a gargoyle.
Good to meet ya, Mikaela. I'll let you know when this done. Shouldn't be too long. Just hang in there in the meantime, alright?

I don't know, given this world, it never lasts too long. Like if it was permanent, I wouldn't mind too much, but it would be bothersome.
Re: video;
[ Awkward silence. ]
But you didn't have feathers.
video;
[She shakes her head slightly for a moment.]
I did not. At least until whatever happened in Nova City happened. It's fun to be able to fly, but at the same time not as much.
