Fourth Scoop: Multi Character Catch-All! [backdated to the start of the event]
[ ooc: I just have too many to justify making multiple posts, and thus making things harder for others to track, so here's one comprehensive post for most of them! ]
Neopolitan
[ With monsters making a mess of things at night, that means that it’ll be much easier to steal things, right? So Neo disguises herself as a regular Joe: wearing a trucker hat, t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and a bit of scruff on her face. Her eyes are light brown now. Currently, she’s in an electronics store, which other people are also looting. She’s swiping a small ice cream maker, easy enough to carry! Now she can have all the ice cream ever! ]
Grell
…no….no no no no!
[Grell has a small drone holding her phone while filming whatever she’s doing, which is mostly panicking. There’s a bits of gummie candy stuck to her hair as she takes a piece of her bed and…plucks a small piece off. It’s sticky between her fingers and she gives it a sniff. Taking a tentative bite, she confirms that it is indeed—]
Marshmallow…
[The drone pans out to show that her entire house is made of candy. The walls are made of taffy, and even her computer is made of candy bars. She holds up her keyboard before she tosses it to the ground in a fit of rage and stomping on it out of sheer…spite.
With quick footsteps, Grell scowls her entire way out the house, and indeed, whatever has happened in her bedroom did not stay confined to it. She doesn’t know what’s worse: the fact that everything is candy, or that nothing matches! Once outside, the drone that follows her now has much more freedom to move about, but…
She lets out a shriek so full of rage that one may not even need a device to hear it, because of what her house turned into!]
Aya
[Aya is currently in the middle of the battle for his life. His foe is unlike anything he’s fought as he parries blows and dodges close calls. Already he has a few cuts all over his body which are taking a toll on his body, but luckily, his opponent isn’t fairing all that well, either. The sound of metal sliding against another can definitely be heard in the streets of Attleton. They stop for a moment as the opponents size up the other, accessing the damage. Aya knows that he can’t overcome this enemy easily.]
[Especially since he’s literally fighting himself.]
[There are also bodies all over the empty street behind his other self. Most are not that badly mutilated, if only because Aya came in to stop the other from desecrating his victims even further. The horrid smile of ill intent meets the eyes of his foe, and it makes his stomach turn. Why did Attleton have it so bad?]
Nora
[Nora is, of course, ignoring the curfew and is out helping people get to safety. It takes up most of her time, but she does make sure to come back at a decent time to check in on Mayu. She promised to protect him, and she plans to keep that promise. She also wants to try and help keep the city safe, too. So if anyone spots her leaping off buildings and laying the smack down on monsters, don’t be afraid! Fortunately, she didn’t turn into a monster, so, relief!
But she will be getting tired soon. Fighting for five hours straight does that to a person.]

[Kirika didn't hesitate and fired twice towards Aya's counter part and dodged behind a telephone pole. She wasn't quite sure how good Aya was with guns, even if it didn't aim on the first shot. At least she could cover Aya for him.]
He will turn against you, eventually. You can't trust people.
[Kirika's counter continued to lecture. She raised her pistol towards the real Aya again.]
Or he'll die first.
NO!
[Kirika cried out, shot from her spot. Her other self shot towards Kirika instead which the bullet grazed her shoulder. Kirika gave a yelp before she retreated behind the pole. Whatever was happening, Kirika used that moment to catch her breath. At the moment, the poison words from her other self were eating away inside of her.]

[But he promptly impales himself on the sword Aya holds up. It misses most vital organs, but it definitely puts them at an advantage for the moment.
[Which is gone because he still has enough energy to aim at Aya.]

She dashed as quickly as she could to the flower shop - it was still standing, it hadn't been destroyed. But he wasn't there. Neither was Kirika. There was something about their absence that told her that they weren't just out delivering flowers. That was when she heard the unmistakeable sounds of a fight. The clash of swords, then gunshots. Selphie cursed herself for not having her weapon with her, though she did at least have her magic.
On her way toward the fight, Selphie stopped dead still. She couldn't scream - if she did, she thought she might be sick. Aya... Slashed and bloodied on the ground. The horror of the sight dropped her to her knees, tears blurring her eyesight. So she did not see the other bodies, did not see that Aya was alive, just further in the distance, fighting and alive. She dragged the head of the body onto her lap, finally able to scream. Selphie wiped feverishly at her eyes and then she noticed - all the bodies, all this copies of him...
She scrambled to her feet and staggered in the direction of the two men fighting. "Ran!" Her shout was hoarse, but she needed his attention and needed to figure out which of the two was the real Aya*

Meanwhile, Kirika recovered enough behind the pile. She noticed some glass shards under her feet, like somebody dropped something there and shattered. Kirika picked a couple of them up.
It was then she heard Selphie's cry. She didn't recognize the name but she did noticed who the woman meant. Aya's replica was about to impale Aya as well. A large shard of glass shot through the air like a knife towards the replica's neck. Kirika didn't hesitate a second thought.
After Kirika threw a shard, a shot was fired and Kirika could be seen thrown back. The shot hit close to her shoulder no one other than herself. Kirika's replica saw it as an open and taken it. The little replica then aimed her pistol towards Selphie.]
This is who you really are, Noir...
[Slowly, the replica pulls the trigger.]

Selphie!
[Hearing the other Kirika's words, Aya snapped his head back to her and tackled her to the ground, taking whatever was aimed at Selphie for himself. Two gunshots go off, and neither of them move. It isn't clear who's hit just yet, but the battle is over.]
no subject
But then there was Aya, in the way of the shot, and as he tackled the Kirika, Selphie gave another shriek of terrified fear. She rushed over quickly as he fell, flinching at the new gunshots*
Ran. Ran??
*Selphie collpased beside them and took Aya's shoulder, trying to get him to move away or, if he couldn't, trying to move him away herself so that she could assess the damage herself. But as she tried to turn him over she was frantic, saying his name over and over and over again*

When Kirika heard Aya's shout followed with gunshots, the girl jerked her body upright. Even Selphie's scream confirmed what Kirika feared. There was a pool of blood under her double, with one gunshot to the gut, which bled her to death. Then, there was Aya. Horrified, Kirika quickly picked herself up and rushed over to them.
Kirika helped Selphie to turn Aya around and away from the body to assess the damage.]
Aya...
[She plead softly as well by the name he told her.]
Make a sound Aya, please. Stay with us.
no subject
Are we--argh! [His attempt to move is a bad idea. He wants to know if they're still under attack, because staying still, out in the open, is also a bad idea.]
no subject
When he looked at Kirika, Selphie glanced at them both, not understanding what had been happening. Selphie touched his face and sshed him gently in concern*
Ssh... It's okay. I just - let me heal you. I can't - not the gunshot if... if there's a bullet. But I can numb the pain. You'll be okay, darling, you'll be okay.
*Though her speech is hushed, it is clearly urgent and shaky as she tried to keep herself together*
no subject
No, it's fine, for now.
[She looked around, confused at the scene, wasn't sure what happened. She even saw herself laying dead.]
I can take out the bullet, but not here.
[Inside, please. Kirika doesn't want anymore surprises.]
no subject
[Eventually, they move inside, leaving a trail of blood behind them as the wound in Aya's side still leaked. Downstairs in the basement is where they end up, with Aya on the couch and trying to stop the bleeding with a cloth.]
Is the bullet...still inside? [His breath is labored from the strain of walking. The loss of blood, fatigue, and wounds all made the trip quite long.]
no subject
You said you knew what to do about that? If you can get it safely out, I can heal him better.
*Her tone is much sharper than usual, and she shuts up as soon as she's done asking, though she does appear to be getting fresh water to clean up Kirika's wounds now*
no subject
I'll need tweezers. There's one in the first aid kit. Aya, apply pressure to the shoulder if you can.
no subject
[He definitely catches Selphie's tone. It's a stark contrast from her usual cheerful nature, but this isn't a cheerful time. Upon her return, he tries to catch her eyes. There isn't much he can say, because there would be no point in giving her soft words that would make everything better. With his wounds and still losing blood, he very well may not make it. Or their attackers could even find them inside and finish them off.]
I don't know what's...what's going on, but we... [He shifts a bit, his face showing he pain of doing so.] We need to warn people.
no subject
Selphie passes the tweezers immediately to Kirika then kneels by Aya's side, taking another deep breath as she tries to stay calm for him*
Ssh. No. Not now. You need to looked after. That's most important. As soon as we get this bullet out, I can heal you better...
*Sensing the tightness of her voice, Selphie shuts up again and takes one of his hands, kissing his forehead gently*
no subject
Once the tweezers were in hand, Kirika leaned closer to Aya and gave a stare before she began. Lucky for Kirika's, her bullet passed through but Aya's was caught by a bone. It didn't take long for her to pull out the metal from him, but that didn't meant it was comforting for the patient. Still, she gave a soft worry look as she spoke.]
I'm not sure either but...
[She pulled away once the bullet was removed to give Selphie space. She walked with her back turned, holding her arms. As she talked, her voice sounded unsure, scared.]
That person, was me, wasn't it?
no subject
[Once it's over, Aya takes in air for what seemed like a long while. His head rests against Selphie's shoulder as he breathes. Most of his body is covered in sweat, the newest addition to whatever else is on it. He hears Kirika's uncertainty, opening his eyes and watches her speak to them with her back turned, noticing that she seems smaller than usual.]
No, it wasn't. [His answer is both clear and quick. That girl...her eyes were cold. She showed no remorse for her friends, and no mercy. That wasn't the Kirika he knows. Even if what that girl said was true, that Kirika couldn't trust them in the long run, it doesn't match up to her just killing them for no reason.]

Bullet gone, Selphie is free to use another healing spell, a stronger one. She closes her eyes as she gathers her energy. With a soft sigh, Selphie manages a decent heal spell - it should close up wounds to prevent any bleeding, and should numb the pain. Selphie stays quiet when the spell as complete, watching Aya with worried eyes*
no subject
You don't know. [She said simply and true. The thought weighed in her mind for sometime.] And I don't even know myself.
[When Kirika felt a soft glow of warmth from Selphie's healing, she had to turn to see it. Magic was still new to her and interesting. But when she did, her eyes were watery, conflicted, and confused.]
no subject
[He looks over to Kirika, listening to her words. They're few, but important, and he can see how this ordeal weighs down on him.]
You're right. I don't know. You could just be fooling us all. [He gives a derisive, short chuckle] It wouldn't be the first time I fell for it. But her eyes were cold, and she probably wasn't the type to play with her victims. [Aya turns his gaze to Kirika, his eyes narrowed and determined.] If you were her, we'd have been dead a long time ago. The hesitation in your eyes only proves that.
[He balls a hand into a fist.] What you saw in that guy out there isn't me. I vowed to never let myself become that person, if I could help it. [He knows that such a side in him could still come out, but his will to stronger than that.]
[But it didn't mean that fear wasn't there.]
no subject
I don't understand what happened out there... Or how those other...versions appeared. But you both need to rest and I think it's safer if you avoid going out there for a while.
*She thinks of the missiles she saw, the ones she was sure she hadn't been able to prevent - all her fault. She bites her lip and looks guiltily at her lap, tensing slightly*
no subject
Kirika lifted her head on the last part Aya spoke, it got her attention, in disbelief. She closed her eyes for a moment taking a deep breath.] If they're not us, then who are they? Where did they come from?
[She opened her eyes again and stared at Selphie. Honestly, Kirika didn't plan on going out anytime soon when Selphie added her thoughts.] You didn't see something of yourself then?
no subject
[But her expression and tone tells him something else is going on. He looks to her with concern, and speaks with a gentle voice.]
What's wrong, Selphie?
no subject
I didn't see myself... I saw missiles. Bombs. Coming down over Attleton. They were my fault... I know it. But I -
*Here she looks up, eyes wide and teary*
I swear one came down over the shop but - but when I got here there...there was nothing... But I saw them. I did...
no subject
Kirika sat quietly, and peered over towards Selphie when Aya raised his concern. She didn't know Selphie well enough as Aya did. When Selphie spoke what she saw, Kirika still remained calmed and quiet while she observed the two. No doubt in her mind Kirika had questions, but one thing was for sure, she didn't saw or heard any bombs and such. Her expression remained indifferent.]
