What: Colette's biggest fears come to life
Warning: Contains mentions of blood, death, and physical abuse
[Colette feels a little silly going out in public dressed as a cat but it was what Fayren had granted her today and she learned day one it was futile to fight it. Besides, she hadn’t been over to the SoCaKa house in a while and she had picked up some stuff for their zoo she wanted to drop off. And who knew what tomorrow would bring? So she makes her way to Attleton, a blush on her cheeks as she appears in the city. She makes it about ten steps before something catches her eye and she freezes.
She stares horrified at the mangled corpse to the right of her. That man… he was a shopkeeper in Luin. That can’t be right. The crack of a whip has her head whirling around and she nearly throws up when she sees a desian whipping an elderly woman while another masked man laughs cruelly. Her eyes widen. This can’t be real. They had stopped the desians and Cruxis and all of it. They had reunited the worlds. This couldn’t be real.
And yet it’s right there.
She takes two steps forward, readying her chakrams and pulling out her wings, prepared to go stop them from harming anyone else, stop them from making Genessia another ranch when she hears a faint croak of her name. She lights up and spins around; Lloyd’s here. Together they can stop-
The brown-haired man with impeccable fashion taste is lying on his side, a pool of blood spreading out around him. His head, which was raised ever so slightly goes limp and his eyes close. Her face pales and she rushes to his side, dropping to her knees shaking and frantic.]
Lloyd? Lloyd, wake up. Please wake up! [She’s a mess of tears now and she drops her phone into the blood in her shaky attempt to call Cassian and Kay while her other hand applies pressure to the large gash across his chest. She picks it up, the camera tinged crimson now, and calls them both, clearly hysteric.]
Please you have to help him!
