In fact it seems to be turning on after having been thrown across the room and being returned by someone that isn't Lydia given she's currently snarling something in some foreign tongue while throwing a vase at a wall off screen. [ Yay, it's Cassian's birthday! His second since arriving in Genessia, in fact. Except, you know, the birthday boy hates parties and being the center of attention alike and would rather not have one at all, so he will be doing his best to treat this day as just a regular day. It's not that his birthday is a secret, as such, just not something he has any wish to go out of his way to share with people.

He will be going to work as usual in Attleton and can be found on the streets of Nova City late in the morning on the way to and from a meeting with a client.

At noon, he can be found in the Attleton park, sitting on a bench looking solemn and lost in thought while he is feeding crumbs of bread to the ducks. His eyes keep going back to the wedding band on his hand. His life has changed so much since he arrived here. He has changed so much. It makes you dizzy if you let yourself think about it properly. ]

[ There's Cassian, looking annoyed... and very sparkly, with glitter in his hair, his face, his clothes... everywhere. Every time he huffs in annoyance, a cloud of red glitter is stirred up on his desk. So much for keeping it quiet and avoiding any ridiculousness.

Resigned to his fate, he holds up an equally glitter-covered card saying "Happy Birthday" and the remains of an exploded, obviously glitter filled balloon in a package - a little gift from Lucky, not that he knows that yet. ]

birthday party: SoKaCa house in Attleton, evening

[ If he had thought he could get away with having his birthday go unnoticed, Cassian is proven wrong once he returns home. He notices something fishy as soon as he opens the door and finds the house surprisingly quiet, no pets or pokemon greeting him by the door.

He comes to a sudden stop as soon as he walks into the living room, which is decorated with party streamers and balloons, a large birthday cake on the table. The terrace door is open, letting guests and pokemon wander outside to enjoy the gardens that are lush and still blooming with fairy magic.

The party has been quietly arranged by Sonico, careful to keep Cassian none the wiser while she invited guests and planned it. She is the welcoming hostess tonight, while Cassian himself looks a little bit embarrassed but quietly pleased and does his best to socialize. ]

[The communicator is being held way too close to the new arrival's face. First you see the necklace that everyone arrives with - the stone is mostly red - then an unshaven chin, then a cheek with a rather impressive scar running up it and over the man's eye. [Bakugou looks to be sitting in an old library with various magical tomes somewhere in Fayren. He sought someone out to give him an enchanted item so he can hear the books rather than read them. Which is kind of annoying because he reads faster than some disembodied voice can fucking speak but you take what you can get. He looks toward his phone, doing a very convincing job of someone who can see. Of course he's been practicing.

But he's pissed. The lack of training has taken a toll on him and he needs to stay in peak condition. So he takes one long, aggressive sip of his juice box, before angrily tossing it...well he tried tossing it in the wastebasket, but it just ends up on the floor.]

[ It all started with an idea - with Sonico and Ayame discussing ideas for the potential construction of an aquarium in Attleton as a way to draw more people to the small town. Remembering that she has access to a glimpse of her homeworld thanks to her colleague who opened it before her arrival, Ayame was willing enough to show it to Sonico so they can gather more ideas for their project. With that in mind, Ayame asks her friend Namur to guide her in Fayren's open sea to get design inspirations for the aquarium. Then after that, she contacts Camilla to see how her new arrival friend is doing, which somehow lead to Ayame inviting the Nohrian princess to come along with her and Sonico when the topic of spas and luxury came up in their conversation.

Well, that's where most of her weekend goes to. Booking an underwater suite at one of Dubai's premier hotels - The Atlantis at the Palm - Ayame would be staying at a replica of a place she once knew for the rest of the weekend. She felt guilty in using her status in this subarchway to get things for free, but this is only a replica after all so she can abuse her power and connections a little. And while she's at it, Ayame remembers another idea that she didn't get to do yet. ]

[ Wearing a cover-up, Ayame can be seen waiting near the docks for Namur to show. Using a ship to get to a good spot to dive in, Ayame is excited as evident in how she can't seem to sit still. Looking at the crowd and flipping her sunglasses up and down at almost every person who approaches, Ayame waves at the next person who comes along whether they are Namur or not. How does one surprise a girlfriend on a date? I've done dates before, but I decided that this time I want it to be a surprise.

Mobius had quite a few productive hours in the kitchen, given how many there were on a few vertically stacked trays. With Sonico's return home, he had to make sure he had a good gift for her ready! So he'd gone out of his way to make quite a few, many of which were a variety of vibrant colors and flavors. He hadn't planned to make quite so many, but... well. He had a groove going. Once he gets a groove, he's actually productive! ... "for once" as Caelestis would say.

Noibat and Woobat were perched up on the higher cupboards to stay out of Mobius' way, but not all were so polite in that regard, because Quatre was on his heels the whole time... ... and because of that, there were a few smaller, pet friendly flavors set aside in a bowl on the far counter. Quatre was a spoiled boy, Mobius wasn't about to deny that one.

After finishing piping the filling onto at least a dozen more macarons awaiting their other half, he used his sleeve to wipe away some sweat off his brow... and then looking around to see and actually realize just how many of the little treats he'd actually made. And there were way more there than what two people would get through.]
