[The feed comes on, she is in Attleton and there is a herd of walkers approaching and she was hiding behind the corner of a building.]
That. That is what walkers look like.
[She said coolly, not at all impressed because this was supposed to be behind her wasn't it?]
[There's a cry,, that sounds like a child from the middle of the herd that turns to something gruesome and animalistic. Clementine gasps and lowers her gun, horrified.]
AJ!
[The little boy makes a horrific noise and begins to toddle closer towards her.]

[Of course zombies were something that Dante couldn't abide however. It was a pitiable affair really, and with a herd bearing down on a child, Dante was starting to see red. Just like Clem would as a red jacket seems to drop out of nowhere onto her head with a strong hand holding it there as he says quite calmly...]
Don't worry. The adult portion of this show is about to start. No peeking.
[Shortly after, several gun shots echoed throughout the area along with the unmistakable sound of steel cutting through flesh and bone. Should Clem decide to defy Dante's advice, she would see a flurry of acrobatics, steel, and gun-play as he made short work of the herd. Once dealt with, Dante pulls a serrated ruby blade from its place on his back and slashed at the ground, causing a flame to spark to life, consuming the dead zombies before turning back to Clementine.]
You okay, half-pint?
no subject
It had almost gotten her killed. She should know better.]
I'm fine.
[She had a knife in her hand, those gunshots were likely to draw more from her experience.]
I was going to handle it.
no subject
...With a knife and a handgun? I don't want to make assumptions, but unless you're some sort of magic ninja, I have a hard time thinking that would work out.
no subject
[It's a life philosophy, really.]
I'm smarter and faster than they are. That's all I need.
[It was her nightmare, and it didn't mean it would stop. There was a straggler coming, and she moved to prove her point. Clementine got down low and drove her knife into its knee, making it fall. She yanked it back out and drove it into its skull with practiced ease. She yanked the knife back out and wiped it on her jeans.]

Yeah, but now I'm here, and I can take care of this, so you don't need to.
[He sighs and glances over his shoulder as Agni's flames begin to die out, having quickly consumed the rotting corpses.]
...You hungry? I'm hungry. How about we get something to eat, my treat?
no subject
I can handle it fine. [She frowns at the interloper. Trust no one.]
...Alright. [She hestiated, visibly. It isn't that the offer isn't enticing, but she's trying to figure out his motive. She is hungry though, traumatic experience aside, and she knows she should eat if she can.]
Don't try anything funny. I'm not afraid to put a bullet through your skull.
[Hopefully her point is made and Dante doesn't have some kind of ulterior motive. If he thinks he's going to kill her, he has another thing coming, that's all. With her threat in place, and really, he's lucky she's not following him with her gun drawn. She's drawn it for less.]

You wouldn't be the first. Though, to be honest, I doubt that peashooter of yours could break my skin. I'd offer to lend you one of mine, but I'd be too worried it'd knock your shoulder out of the socket.
[A beat.]
I'm craving ice cream. You good with ice cream?
no subject
[Well, at least he doesn't seem too offended, which is probably good, but in her defense she was just dealing with what she was used to. It's hard to relax after something like that.]
This place is so weird, I haven't had ice cream in forever.
[She is mildly surprised how unperturbed he is.]
I'll eat anything.

This baby could knock the burliest of guys on their ass. I'm not letting a kid get hurt with it.
[He spins it again as he replaces it in the holster.]
Good. There's a place nearby that has excellent strawberry sundaes.
no subject
I'm not a kid. I could handle anything, because I am not intending on dying anytime soon.
I can do anything any dumb adult can do, including killing you, so don't push it.
[She'd like to think she's not the kind of person who'd kill someone for annoying her, but honestly, she doesn't know anymore.]
no subject
Being grown up isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'd give just about anything to take another shot at being a kid, and I know all too well that circumstances don't really let kids be kids. Nobody - regardless of age - should have to deal with the shit that seems to be second nature to you. That said, you can't keep your guard up all the time. I'm a deputy guardian, so you don't have to worry about me. But...
[He pulls his handguns out, and places them on the ground, sliding them toward her, doing the same with the trio of swords he carried. Afterward, he got on his knees and put his hands behind his head as if he were surrendering to someone.]
...If it makes you feel any better, put a bullet in my brain. Right between the eyes.
no subject
I'm not going to shoot you.
[He was standing there, completely unarmed and it wasn't like he'd done anything to endanger her.]
I just don't trust you, and no offense, I shouldn't. I've been screwed over a lot.
[She understands desperation.]
I've had my guard up all that time, I have to. There's always a walker around the corner. Everyone dies eventually.
[It's all just fact for her world. She doesn't think about being a kid, or even much of her life before it all went to hell.]
I was trying to make things okay for AJ, but he's...I have to get him back.
no subject
And I've got no interest in hurting you. Otherwise, I would've already.
[He replaces Rebellion on his back before stepping over and retrieving the rest of his weapons.]
The thing about having your guard up all the time is that you end up missing out on kindness. Things may be different in your world, but zombies are the exception here and I can mop 'em up more easily.
Tell me about him.

Clementine?
[ Video ]
Yeah?
[She's still alive.]
[ Video ]
Are you all right?
[ Video ]
[Being alright is another story entirely.]
[ Video ]
Is this part of the "holiday"?
[ Dorothy doesn't like the idea that creatures from Clementine's world can suddenly appear here.
What did that mean, for her, and the things which could come from Paradigm? ]
[ Video ]
[She has the grace to look perplexed. She doesn't remember a lot of holidays and it's been a long time.]
[ Video ]
A scientist here, who was turned into a vampire, said this coincided with a holiday he called "Halloween."
I have never heard of this holiday before, so I do not know how likely this is.
[ Video ]
I've heard of it, but I don't know much about it.
[ Video ]
Apparently people dress in costumes and ask for candy.
[ Her tone is flat. It doesn't seem like a very sensible holiday - but what holidays really were? ]
[ Video ]
[She couldn't say what her costume was when she was seven either. It just didn't matter.]
[ Video ]
[ Video ]
[She snorts.]
Now it's like every day is Halloween.
