[2nd Shot] [Text/Action]
[Text.]
Does anyone know how long this will last? Were there any events related to this in the past?
[Action: Attleton: CW Death]
[Meanwhile, Kirika's been stuck in her apartment since Attleton was invaded by fear. Kirika had her own demons to worry about and she didn't want to risk her fear to manifest and hurt the people she cared for. Then today was one of those days where she had to make a quick trip, she was out of milk. After almost like four days, she went out.
On the way to the market, it was fine. On the way back, she saw a couple of dead bodies by her feet; a young blond Corsican, Czechoslovakian gentleman, Aya, Selphie, and Seth. It looked like every one of them were left with a shot wound which was the cause of death. The bag of groceries dropped from her hand as she rushed over to the blond woman first.]
Mireille!

Mireille!

tl;dr
Pain reminds him that he's still alive.
It keeps him focused.
He finally heard news of Attleton's conditions. He doesn't wait or run to find Kirika. Instead, he vanishes and reappears within seconds, standing on the street to Kirika's home. He knocks on her door first but after no answer, he runs down the street to find her.]
Kirika!
[He shouts her name as he turns the corner. The young girl coming into sight as well as the trail of bodies. Fear. That's what he had been told and against better judgement he had come. Seth's fears could destroy Attleton. He walks briskly over to Kirika and moves so that he's between her and the body of her friend.]
Look at me Kirika. Listen to my voice. I am real. This is not. You cannot kill me.
[He notices his own body on the ground and for the first time, it's unfortunate that Kirika doesn't know the truth about him.] We can to go. Please.
:v
'THIS is why I told you.'
Before she could reach her dead blond friend first, Seth intervene in front of her. Her eyes widen in disbelief and sorrow, taking a step back. Even though she couldn't see some of the bodies, she knew Seth was part of the count. Last time she saw doubles, it was easy to identify by the sheer murder in their eyes. This time, it was different. One was dead and the other alive. Was her fear playing tricks on her again? Her hands were shaking as she kept them by her sides, she tight both hands to a fist, but she couldn't shake it off. Whether he was real or not, she was relieved he was okay. Her eyes locked to him trying to shake this illusion.]
Seth... I'm-I'm- It's my fault. Everyone died because... a-and you'll die too. I-I-
[She heard him the first time, but it doesn't entirely register yet. Her knees finally gave out and she dropped to the floor holding her head. She shut her eyes tight hoping this illusion would fade, which it doesn't.]

[He whispers against her ear as he falls with her to the ground. Seth's arms circle around her, pulling her close to his chest as if he might be able to shelter her from what she's seeing. She can hit him, scream, cry or whatever; but he isn't going to let her go. No one should face the curliest of the world alone.]
It isn't your fault. [His voice is softer than usual: kind and gentle.] Listen to me. [He gently moves her, tilting her chin up to look into the pale golden reflection of his eyes.] You can't kill me. [His voice is certain and firm.]
Please listen. [Seth exhales, feeling his nerves pull and test the bounds of what he's usually willing to tell people.] I am not human. You cannot kill me. I will never die.
[It's a very lonely existence.]
For as long as you are here. I will be at your side.
;w; <33
There was a nostalgic feeling when she was embraced. She couldn't remembered exactly but that and Seth's voice had calmed her down. Even his scent was nice. When Seth picked her up by the chin, red hues met with his gaze. She was dazed and confused when he confessed.]
You'll... never die?
[It sounded lonely, but at the same time, she felt almost relieved, still sad, and remorseful. She was a mess. At least she knew he couldn't die because of her.
It was the last part which nailed her heart. She didn't understand what he meant by it, but it didn't matter. Tears flooded again in her eyes before it trailed down her cheek, one at a time.
Really, she was glad he would be fine.]

He looks down at her red eyes as if he's able to see through them. His thumb gently brushes away her tears as his expression softens.]
Never.
[His voice is soft like a secret but firm like a promise.]
It's impossible for me to die. If this body is hurt, I'll return to this form later. There is no way for you to hurt me.
[Seth pulls her back to his chest when she continues to crying. He'll have to change his shirt but he doesn't appear to be overly concerned about it at the moment.]

As he brushed her tears away, Kirika froze, not because she was afraid of him, she wasn't used to this close affection. She blushed, possibly from her tears or his gentle care.
When he pulled her back in, Kirika's arms finally fell down by her sides, her head buried in his chest again. It was still alien to her, probably why she hasn't tried hugging him back, not even a tug. It was her weight against him. A couple sniffles followed as she tried to fight her cry.
Slowly though, one of the bodies nearby them slowly vanished, Seth's, while the others still remained untouched.]

[Seth gathers her into his arms, holding her head against his chest as he carries her back to her home. He knows where it is and he won't stop until they arrive.
Fears play like a chorus in the back of his mind. It isn't the dead he sees but eternal darkness. His brother will stop at nothing to bring that darkness, eternal sleep for the living, where his brother will control everything. It isn't as simple as that, there is fear in that eternal sleep, lust, dreams but none of it is good. Humans cannot be chained and control like that.
Seth won't let that happen.
His grip tightens around Kirika as he continues down the street, ignoring the thick darkness that follows him. Seth has lived a long time with his fears and he knows them for what they are.
Fears are not truths.]

I can walk.
[She calmly said. Her head rested against his chest. By now, her tears were no more.
Even though she couldn't see what was happening around them, the light suddenly faded without warning. Then she felt his grip tighten on her. Whether it hurt or not, Kirika didn't give a hint of indication.]
What's wrong?
[She tried to look up to him.]

[It is something to focus on. A point to keep his head above the water while the shadow of his brother looms around him. It isn't a complicated relationship. One side of the coin is light and the other is dark but it isn't something that Seth spends a great deal of time talking about. It's the truth, he doesn't run from that, but he does take great lengths to avoid his brother.
At first their strengths were even and their battles long and tedious. Over time Daluun used the darkness to gather more strength and Seth began to run from him. He can't let his brother win or the world would be lost to his darkness. As long as he lives, there is hope.]
It'll be fine once we reach your house. [His voice is soothing despite the situation they've found themselves in.
When Seth reaches her building he kicks the door open with his foot. As they head up the stairs to her apartment she'll notice that the walls are darkening along the way. They just have to make it back, Seth decides firmly within the safety of his thoughts, then it will all vanish.]

How have you been affected?
[ Text ]
I live in Attleton so it's fear.
[ Text ]
A heightened physical response? I don't think I understand.
[ Text ]
Something which could cause threat to an individual.
[ Text ]
The fear itself? Or an illusion?
[ Text ]
In this town, it feels more real.
