[Waking up in a pod apparently did not take Anna by surprise. In fact, she didn't seem shocked at all that she was just taken somewhere she'd never seen before. She actually seemed quite calm as she appeared in the feed. Once she spoke, the British accent became pretty clear.]

Well, can't say that this is something I expected to wake up to. I guess I just need to find my way back.

[But before she gave much time for anyone to tell her otherwise..]

I've already been brought up to speed by the hologram and the pamphlet. I guess it's nice to have an upgrade. [Gesturing to the phone for a moment.] I know that -- as of right now -- there is no known way out of.. uh... [She paused for a moment] Genessia.. was it? [Oh well, continuing on.], but this isn't exactly my first rodeo when it comes to supernatural forces. I'll find a way out.

For the time being, I need to find a place to stay, but more importantly a job; Have to pay for a place and whatever I'll need here somehow right? I'm not sure what you have in store for me, Genessia, but preferably something to do with investigations would be best. The agency that I worked for dealt with a lot of the supernatural causes that others turned a blind eye to. Back where I'm from, people don't take supernatural instances so well, so it's better not to rile up people where I don't need to.

But I suppose beggars can't be choosers, so I guess just getting a lay of the land would be best for the time being. If anyone has any useful information that I should know about this place that hasn't been covered already, please let me know. Until then, I'm off to find a job and a place to stay.

[And just like that she's gone.]

Investigations, huh?

[ Yes. Yes, he'll latch onto that because being a P.I. has become his life. It's not really every day he meets someone who appreciates how great the job is. Even if she mentions hoke--

Well. Guess they really aren't that hokey if they're both in some weird new place with higher tech than he's used to. They were brought here somehow, with a probability that it was by something supernatural. (Though Aerik's going to be firm in his disbelief that the supernatural exists until he witnesses it first hand, okay.)

He grins, looking relaxed despite his resting on an uncomfortable bench. ]

I hope you don't intend to steal my business when I get mine up and running.

[ Yep. Aerik is that confident that he'll get there in this place. It also may (hopefully) be clear he's trying to tease her. ]

[Takeru hadn't been around for long but had found he had arrived at probably the most awkward time, also the least fun time as well. Being chased by monsters while being able to fight back was never a fun experience. It was one he was used to, but not fun.]

I don't know as much as what you do right now. [And thanks for reminding him he needs to find a place that isn't the commons where he is currently staying in right now. He also needs a job, which he never thought he would need to think about at this age.]

But you reminded me that work and finding a place is something I have to do. So that's going to be an experience.

I guess I can relate. Before the agency that I worked at, I didn't expect to find a job so soon. If I'm going to have to support myself, than that's going to be necessary. I take it that you're new here as well?

A couple days at least. They give you a place to stay for like a month, but by the looks of it, I need to be working and moved by then.

[But when one didn't know what to do in life, figuring out where to start was hard. He figured he could bag groceries or something.]

Well, at least that's an option for the time being.

It's probably best to be prepared at the very least.

Or try. I mean if you don't know what to do, it makes it a lot harder.

Well, what are some of your interests? Maybe think of something you can do based on that?

While thinking of that is a good start, I think doing something easier and building up to it is the way I might go.

Work from the bottom up. After all I think for my interests I still need some work before I am at least decent.

I work in Everglade. Consider it the center of spooky and the supernatural here.

[Seth flashes the screen a smile.] If you're going to set up shop I'd suggest that you go there. I'd also be happy to offer my services and show you around. [He gets bored very easily and is looking for hobbies. A supernatural detective agency sounds like fun and he might have the means to help her start something; assuming she's interested.]
