[ Everglade is literally just so much food right now Emerald is pretty ok with that. Catch her around town just snapping stuff off of various buildings and eating it. Look who is she to say no to free chocolate??

Or, catch her on her return trip in: The S'morening.

That's right, Emerald found a mallow marsh. Everglade is known for its spooky water features and fog everywhere, but when she found a marsh made entirely of marshmallows, she used the WaysPoints to rush to the Vale subarchway and get some fire Dust, then back.

Which means now she's literally scorching this marsh and making the most miraculous smelling toasted marshmallows on the planet. The scent is so prominent it pretty much fills the air for a full block. ]

I may actually die here and I'd be okay with it.

Grell just watches her with crossed arms and a look that definitely says she's given up on people eating public space.]

You don't know where that's truly been.

[If it's a swamp, then the creatures that live in it must still be there. So...she might accidentally be digesting poop.]

[ More like if there was anything living in it it's probably suffocated in the marshmallow... but people drink lake water all the time. ]

I cooked it first, it's fine. Grab some of the bark off of the tree, I think it's graham cracker.

[Grell definitely doesn't drink lake water. Ew!

Walking over to the tree, Grell breaks off a nice sized amount from the bark. Inspecting it, by turning it in her hand and sniffing it, it does smell like graham cracker. She brings it over to Emerald.]

It's very fortunate that everything grows back, else we'd have an emergency situation to deal with.

[The town being edible is an emergency, but that's besides the point.]

Yeah, right now the only thing you have to worry about is the inevitable diabetes outbreak and all those elderly werewolves breaking their hips on the chocolate hills out back. Chocolate rocks are nowhere near as stable as real rocks.

[ And all the stickiness when the fog rolls in..

Emerald takes some of the toasted marshmallow and scoops it onto the graham cracker bark, and sprinkles on some of the aforementioned chocolate rocks she gathered a little earlier. ]

[Not only did dray eat as much as it was possible for him without reaching a diabetic coma, he now wants to try and see if the food in Everglade can be brought to a different city. He's got a big pantry to fill and when he accidentally wanders into emerald, Dray's carrying a crate of food almost as big as himself. It doesn't look like the weight bothers him at all.]

Hello! That smells really good. What is it? [Sweets aren't all that common in his world, Dray never expected that it existed such large variety.]

[ Hey it's a faunus-looking thing. Some kind of freak cat from the looks of it.

..on the other hand, despite that Emerald can sometimes be food possessive, it is also a whole marsh so it's not like she could finish that anyway. ]

Toasted marshmallow. You cook it so it's melted on the inside and then browned on the outside. There's a graham cracker tree over there and if you find some chocolate you've got what's called a s'more, a camp-time favorite.

[ She wonders for a second if she should bring David one but eh. She'll just say it would'v ebeen cold by the time she found him. ]

[Similar to a faunus....except Dray's whole body is covered in short, soft fur. He should probably put on some clothes but in his defense, he wasn't expecting to run into anybody while he was ~~stealing food~~ visiting Everglade.]

Oooohh..I never had anything like it before, it does sound tasty. [He puts the crate down and offers Emerald a smile.] I might give it a try. I'm Dray, nice to meet you. I've good some chocolates in here, we can share...

[Since she is offering food advice, the least he can do is also share. He's got like 30 chocolate bars in the crate anyway. He give 3 to Emerald.] Is this enough chocolate?

[ Emerald is unfortunately.. not the type of person to differentiate too much. You got animal bits, you're a faunus. It's not like there's any distinction that says they can't have fur in Remnant anyway. ]

More than enough. [ She scoops some of the melty marshmallow out onto one of the chocolate bars for him, then goes over and sandwiches it between some graham cracker and holds it out to him. ] Here.

[ If he's got all that food, he obviously didn't get it asking permission. Which makes him at least OK until he does something to annoy her. ]

[That's okay. Dray labels most of the humanoids in Genessia as 'not Eidions' so it isn't as if he's any better than her in that regard. Spock himself is labeled as 'not an elf' in his mind, after their initial conversation.

Dray's tail moves behind him, curling with interests. It's not the first time he sees someone with green hair but the woman in front of him is too big to be a swamp fairy. And she doesn't have wings, of course.] Thank you! I'm Dray Lyell.

[He smells the smore, enjoying the sweet smell, and then his whole face lights up when he takes a bite.] This...is the best thing I've had in my life.

[It's also gone in seconds because Dray's a big eater, no matter how short and slim he is. Emerald is officially labeled in his mind as 'the smores fairy'. Congrats, Em.]

Ahh...so good. Can we make more if I bring you the crackers? I can climb the tree in no time.

Yeah, I scorched a huge chunk of the marsh. There's plenty.

[ They're going to get so sick here, just eating s'mores. But it's going to be worth it. ]

And I've got more if it cools down so we can keep it fresh. [ She holds up a little vial of what looks like red powder. ]
