[For a while now, Ragyo has been spending most of her time in Genessia, near the Bay. But today, her project is finally ready to be unveiled. The position was as close to the Bay as she could get, making it as visible as possible to newcomers. But now the Genessia Revocs was open for business.]

[The event was reminiscent of a gala. She'd had the event catered and would be unveiling a new line of clothing tailored to Genessia city's eclectic style. It was primarily casual wear of any and all styles, with the Revocs emblem tucked away somewhere on the article of clothing somewhere.]

[Along with the impressive gala style event for the grand opening of the branch, Ragyo was unveiling her latest ad campaign, featuring Sonico wearing an elegant fairy dress with the tagline of "Spread your wings and take flight with Revocs."]

[Honestly, Gwen was just passing by when she noticed the gala going on. This kind of thing wasn't normally her style but could appreciate how everything was geared to more casual wear. Maybe she could find something suitably grungy to add to her collection, or something nice that she could make grungy for it.

Also there was food, that's always a major selling point.

[Ragyo had been wandering the store, checking on the attendees, and making sales where she could. It was really only a matter of time before she caught sight of Gwen. It was a good thing that she saw Gwen first so she could wrinkle her nose at the girl's outfit. Still, she'll approach from behind, wearing as warm a smile as possible.]

[Gwen's attire was well... It was very casual punk rock. She probably looked a bit more like she belonged in a rave than instead of a Gala. Which was fine by her. She perks up when Ragyo speaks to her.

Woah. She's about ready to shield her eyes from that hairstyle.]

Me? Yeah. Just browsing, really. You've got some pretty neat stuff around here.

[Of course Satsuki Kiryuin is at the gala-like, and this would be the first she's attended in a dress that wasn't made by Ayame. In fact it is pretty much exactly Ragyo's.

It's clear to her the thought behind every decision made from the location to the decision of model, all which makes Satsuki feel rather unhappy. Thankfully the lack of any real smile isn't anything out of the ordinary for the young lady.

For the moment she isn't making any real attempt to mingle, Satsuki is just hoping to see a familiar face.]

[Satsuki will feel a icy hand gently touch her shoulder before spinning her around. She's greeted by a smiling face, but it doesn't seem very warm like a smile should be.]

Of all things that Satsuki wasn't expecting, Nui would probably be at the top of that list. There is an abrupt chill that races up her spine when she hears that familiar voice which stuns her long enough to be spun about. She's visibly surprised, for the slightest of moments, before looking visibly annoyed.

[Gwen isn't a familiar face but Satsuki catches her attention. She does her absolute best to wrench her eyes way but it doesn't work. It's like they're being drawn in. So she eventually just gives and approaches.]

Those are some serious eyebrows. Very bold.

[Satsuki should be used to this, but it's actually been quite a while since anyone has actually commented on her eyebrows. It's annoying, but not enough to actually change her expression, and she resists crossing her arms.

She doesn't know Gwen, but she did see her stuffing her face at the tables earlier.]

Hmm... [Evangeline gives Satsuki a pointed once-over.]

Not sure which is steeper, that neckline or that brow.

[...never mind that she wears dresses of almost exactly the same cut, and doesn't have anyone else to blame for it. It's not as if she really disapproves; she only, in her usual fashion, wants to see how comfortable Satsuki herself is putting forward such an uncharacteristic appearance. Who it's supposed to be for.]

[Worded that way, the comment actually leaves Satsuki uncertain if Evangeline was swinging for low hanging fruit or not. That said, she actually feels just a smidge self conscious with the 'familiar' face looking her over, enough for her to suddenly stand a bit more straight.

Not that she was all that relaxed earlier.]


My [There's a very slight pause.] mother is the owner of this establishment.

[She gestures off toward the side where Ragyo can be seen mingling elsewhere.]

It is part of the theme; in what way would wearing a dress be a hobby?

[After a while, Satsuki would feel an all too familiar hand on her shoulder as Ragyo made her way over to her daughter. She stood next to Satsuki with her hand on Satsuki's far shoulder, almost inviting any would be photographers to take a picture of them in matching dresses.]

I'm surprised you aren't wearing Junketsu. When I laid out a dress for you, I expected my suggestion to be ignored.

[Even with so much on her mind Ragyo's tough was expected. The anticipation of it is why she had been a little on edge.

Unfortunately there isn't any relief when it finally happens, and for the moment she doesn't make eye contact.]

Of course I would; this is a special occasion. [Then she looks to her.] Though I confess that wishing to avoid any perceptions of dysfunction may also be part of the inspiration.

First of all, allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Ragyo Kiryuin, owner and CEO of the Revocs clothing corporation. As to my proposal, in overseeing the construction of my Genessia city branch, I've seen several people come from the Bay in varying degrees of dress. I would like include vouchers in the welcome pamphlets.

[She holds up one such voucher for the camera.]

These vouchers would be redeemable at any clothing store, good for a single outfit. All the store would need to do to recover the cost is attach the receipt for the outfit to the voucher and return it to myself, and I would cover the cost.

[It's a small step, but anything to get some good PR, not to mention the new store was purposely visible from the bay itself. It should help some with getting more people in her clothes...]

[While the maid goes shopping for goods in Genessia, her eyes do catch the crowd of people lining up for some fashion store. Perhaps it was time to take a different route and explore? Plus she could check on the Bay for any new arrivals she knows.

She was still dressed for work, so maid outfit was on. Someone from England in the 1800's, the outfits were a bit alien to her but that didn't stop Mey-Rin from looking around, no, it made the Chinese girl more curious and 'ohhhh!'

[As Mey-Rin wandered and inspected the outfits, she may notice that her shadow was growing as a veritable discoball of light seemed to be behind her. Of course, upon turning around, Ragyo would be there, grinning to herself as the maid reacts to her clothing.]

[Of course she saw a strange radiant of lights which puzzled. It was when she turned around she took a couple steps back by surprise, and it wasn't only because of her appearance. It was the woman she was suppose to stay clear from what Lady Grell warned her.]

[The maid adjusted her glasses again.]

Does your hair really glow like that?

[Mey-Rin, maids don't ask those sort of questions...]

[Sometime a little later in the gala, the lights dim suddenly. There's a clear confusion in the crowd until a set of spotlights seemingly out of nowhere flash on. They all turn across the room to highlight an interesting looking girl. There's also a strange song that fills the room.

This odd girl is all smiles as she practically floats across the room to Ragyo.]

Mama, I'm here~ I heard you were starting a new line, so of course I just had to come!

[Wait how could she have possibly known that?]

I am your Grand Couturier after all~

[Ragyo had learned to stop questioning how Nui worked long ago, though in truth she would've been more surprised had Nui not made a dramatic entrance at all. After all, part of the catering included Nui's favorite sweets.]

Ah, Nui, I'm glad you made it. An event like this wouldn't be the same without you, dear~

[She held out her hand, beckoning Nui closer. It was good to see her favorite daughter once more~]

Ayame - Open

[ As Ragyo's former temporary employer, Ayame cannot help but be interested in this new venture for Ragyo's Revocs. Ayame can admit that Ragyo's a better tailor than her, and no doubt a better businesswoman, especially with the things Satsuki told her about Ragyo. The woman would be the type to do whatever to get ahead of the competition. This move of placing the store near the Bay feels like that. Ayame would need to step her game up to be able to stay in business.

Regardless, Ayame attended with a dress of her own creation to represent her own business. She walks in the gala space carrying herself with confidence in her stride, taking a glass of champagne and observing the event from the sidelines before working her way towards the center of the action. Having recently watched a spy movie, it certainly feels like she's living in one. She uses that thought to keep her looking friendly with a warm smile fixed on her features. That should make her approachable enough, hopefully.

Ayame can be found observing the new line of clothing, quietly appreciating the design of some of them, and the posters of her friend Sonico wearing a fairy dress. ]

[Ragyo's approach was heralded by the telltale light of the aura that followed her everywhere.]

[ Ayame gives Ragyo a smile, making a gentle gesture towards the clothing on display. Ayame is lucky enough that they have a different target for customers, too. With her store in Genessia mainly catering to the formal clothing crowd ]

Excellent choice of model. Sonico looks radiant in that dress.

[Erza had been passing through Genessia City looking for bounty jobs, but the gala definitely caught her attention. One magical change to a more appropriate outfit later, she could be found wandering the gala, admiring the outfits on display. In particular, she'll be trying to find if the dress shown off in the poster is on sale.

She wasn't familiar with the Revocs brand, but the outfits were certainly eye-catching. Given that Erza prefers to have outfits for every possible occasion, she tends to visit any clothing stores that she comes across regardless, but she'd have to add this place to that list.]

[As Erza perused the outfits, she would notice a growing rainbow of light causing shadows to elongate as the source approached.]

[The glowing hair is a bit odd, but seeing as one of the people that she deals with perpetually emits sparkles, she doesn't find it as strange as most people would.]

I was originally just going to browse, but do you know where I can find the dress from those advertisements? [She gestures to one of the Sonico ads; seeing as her guild is based around fairies, that sort of thing is going to quickly catch her eye.]
