2 [Video] One nightmare ends, another begins.
[Maribelle is sitting in a cafe drinking a rather dainty cup of tea with some very lightly buttered crumpets and a tea pot with more tea at the ready. She felt she would need it as she prepared to address the network with her announcement.]
I'm certain that I am not alone in being glad that this wretched season of spooks and goblins is over. I know that Everglade was infested was turned into something reminiscent of candy island and I can certainly say I never wanted to return to that place.
[She takes a sip of the tea... but sets it down shortly afterward, finding she still can't get the disgust out of her mouth or off her features.]
With that said... I shall be applying my law expertise in the city of Everglade, and will likely be working closely with the city guardian Grell, and its mayor Oswald Cobblepot. I would also like to offer my services to be a deputy guardian... free of charge.
[Ugh... she hates herself SOOOO much right now... but it's for the greater good!]
In the meantime... I intend to move into the city myself so that I am closer to where I shall be working and those that I shall be... dealing with. Can anyone tell me about the old mansion apartments? I sent in an application for housing there.

All I heard is rumors, and none of them are good.
Granted, I could probably investigate when I get some time off work.
On the bright side I'm sure it's better than Castlevania! For the non-vampiric anyway!

[She frowns a little, not sure if she should reconsider her living arrangements... but she's lived through worse for the sake of luxury, so she merely shrugs.]
How have you been darling? I apologize for not speaking with you sooner but I've been... troubled lately and I'd hoped to make my moving into the same city as you a pleasant surprise. I know before I told you that I had little desire to be here, and while that still remains relatively true, I think there is much good I can accomplish here.
[Even if it pains her to do so. She's also unaware of Konoka's current relationship status, but so far the two of them were simply good friends anyways, so she likely wouldn't be all that bothered by the fact that Konoka has found someone.]
