NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION

[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Shop Thefts

Shops in Fayren have found themselves being robbed over night. However, the criminal only seems to be stealing certain things from each shop, with everything else remaining completely untouched. Even some of the more valuable items within the shop remained there when the shopkeeper returned in the morning.

In most cases, they hadn't even been aware that they were robbed until they took stock or someone requested that particular item. Investigation by the City Guard hasn't turned up anything, they are just as baffled by this crime spree as some others are.

Some of the things stole in particular don't even have a high value, a few shops were robbed of things that were practically worthless. Still, the shopkeepers aren't happy that someone trespassed in their business and they are hoping that the culprit will soon be brought to justice before they decided to make some sort of return trip.

Recovering

The cities are recovering after the events that transpired just a short while ago. The cities hit hardest by the events being Genessia City, Attleton and Everglade. Due to the monster attack in Genessia City, some people have lost their lives, mostly due to the initial attack. Others have been injured with them ranging from minor to major injuries.

Attleton suffered a similar event, with there only being people that were injured. While Everglade didn't suffer an attack, the massive amount of candy caused people to indulge in it. Many are still feeling sick from overeating, with some saying they never want another piece of candy in their life.

Sherri Reeves

The body of Sherri Reeves has discovered inside of an abandoned warehouse in Attleton. The autopsy results indicate stabbing as the cause of death. A missing persons report for Sherri went out in August. No reports of sightings had been made between then and now. As stated in the article in August, Sherri was the owner of an Orphanage in Attleton that she opened up with her inheritance.
In the Will left behind by her, she is leaving all of her money to the Orphanage and ownership as well is being turned over to her friend, Lane Woods, who not only helped her get it up and running, but also worked there for free on a daily basis. Lane broke the news to the children shortly after identifying the body.

Lane has said she can’t imagine what sort of person would hurt someone like Sherri. A memorial service with her closest friends and family has already been held.

The True Terror Comes!

Dentists in Everglade are on high alert after the entire city turned into sweet treats. With nothing left unscathed, residents had been left in a state of panic. That is, all but one particular group of residents. Dentists fear that children and those with a sweet tooth will soon be paying a visit to their local dentists, and they worry they may not be able to meet the demands. They ask residents to brush and floss regularly, and be vigilant against cavities.

4.) Four friends were competing in the internationally renowned BrainBashers Bog Snorkelling competition. As usual, the judges were a little careless and once again, they managed to lose the results. Luckily, a number of spectators were able to remember the following snippets of information:

Cold Crime - Someone has been using liquid nitrogen to freeze people to death. A level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can capture this criminal.

Nova City

Malfunction - In Nova City, several people have been murdered in their homes. This seems to be because their androids were hacked and set to attack them in the middle of the night. A level 2 payment is being offered for anyone that can capture the hacker.

Everglade

Greenthumb - A black magic user has forced seeds created by their magic into peoples bodies. She's been blackmailing them to do what she says with the threat of doing the same to the people they care about. She forces the victims to steal for her and the victim dies after twelve hours. The one responsible has committed several robberies through this method. A level 2 payment is being offered for their capture.

Fayren

Mysterious Mystery – There have been rumors of a mysterious figure lurking at the mouth of some decrepit cave ruins. Rumor has it they have been taking all types of magical ingredients inside. The City guard is offering a level 3 payment to anyone that goes to investigate this within the next 24 hours.

[ooc: This bounty has no limit to the amount of people that can accept (but only one character per player should a player have more than one that is interested). The sign up time is 24 hours (ending 11:59AM EST), after that, the window will be closed. While no lasting damage or death is expected to happen, if you accept the bounty with your character you have to follow through with it. ]

Duel - A man has been challenging people to sword fights and whether they person accepts or not, he kills them. A level 2 payment is being offered for his capture.
