[It had been about a day or so, enough time to cry it out that she wasn't home nor the digital world. Mimi had been uncharacteristically quiet, but metaphorically (and realistically) dusted herself off and was sitting in the park with fairly warm clothes on, holding a coffee from Moonbucks in one hand (somehow visiting during a time that someone she knew wasn't working there), while the other held the phone up.

She closed her eyes, took a breath, then put on the biggest smile she could muster, turning on the video feed.]

[Takeru hadn't been working his Moonbucks job today since that was for his evening shift and instead had the fun pleasure of once again listening to an old woman badger on about... something for the millionth time at Pan's Groceries. Being a cashier has its fun moments.

He was pretty sure they weren't actually paying attention to him either considering he had pretty much finished ringing her up and was currently waiting for her to pay after asking at least twice, so when he heard the tune of a cheerful but familiar voice he instead decided to just wait it out while she talked and instead check the device only to spot that yes the familiar voice was, in fact, someone he knew.

... He wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not considering. Good in that well from things he was now aware were not going to at least get worse anytime soon but at the same time bad in the sense that he knew what this place could be capable of with just one event.

However, he also couldn't help switching on the feed and putting on his usual grin. Hi, Mimi.]

You could always come and have the fun pleasure of listening to an old woman talk about why grapes are too soft. It's really fun~

I'm not. The old woman who I was ringing up her items was talking about them. Been here five minutes now and she hasn't stopped.

[And potentially you can hear her in the background.]

I don't know why she does it, last time it was oranges and asking why they are too small. Today its grapes. It's an adventure.

There are arcades, and movies to see, and tons of different restaurants and cafes - and there are even parties sometimes!

[She could faintly hear the rambling now that he mentioned it, and laughed.]

Well that doesn't sound like a very fun adventure.

I hope I don't run into that when I start working. I already applied for a job with the music store, and even applied to get an agent so I can sing! Did you know they could do that?

[Her own smile faltered for a moment when he answered, before she put it right back on.]

That's okay. That means everyone else should be able to take care of everything while we're gone. At least we'll have each other right? Until we can go home too.

But to be honest, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I had Palmon with me.

Arcades?! That sounds like fun! Have you gone to any yet?

Wow, already getting jobs. Impressive. I had to wait a bit due to...this world being weird and me arriving during a monster mash. We thought being chased by Digimon was awful. Being chased by film monsters is just as bad.

As for the others...I heard time is frozen while we are here, but I have no way of proving this. I do agree, however....That I kind of wish I had Patamon.

Well, I'm going to believe that what they say is true. I mean, I'm sure it is. I didn't realize YOU were gone, and since you're working, that means you've been here longer. AND you were chased by mons-

[She looked around her, since she was sitting outside at the park, and held her coffee closer to her as if it was a weapon she could use in case anything were to jump out.]

But... you seem okay. Are you okay? Did the monsters hurt you? Are you a vampire?! Or worse, a werewolf that's going to come out when it's a full moon, and then I'll have to hide your secret identity!

[She didn't know if she was scared or excited by that prospect...]

Me too! And I'm always up for meeting new friends. Maybe we can check out some of the places around here together!

AND! If we can't find a good karaoke place, we'll make one! Two cute girls can totally go anywhere and convince someone to do it for us~! [She grinned and winked at the camera.]

That would be super cool! I'm Mimi by the way, I mean, I know I said it in my open video message, but it'd be rude not to properly introduce myself to a new friend!

[He sighed slightly, it was a sigh of relief. He was so glad things didn't just carry on while he was gone. It might mean if he gets back time will continue and he could perhaps do something... After all, there were so many problems right now.]

I-I'm fine. I mean I did get attacked and it did leave a mark which I have been struggling with since, so having someone here I can trust is always a plus. [He wished his brother was here because this would be even more amusing.]
