Hey so as we all know December is coming which means one exciting thing. Snuggly blankets, hot chocolate and stuff like that but also the day of giving being with family and friends; Christmas.

Whenever I had to film during the holidays we always did a Secret Santa thing, or at least I decided to always throw one because I found it a good way to get to know someone I didn't know before be it a castmate or someone who did the lighting.

Either way, it was fun to buy them something be it hilarious, meaningful or something not safe for work. Either way, I kind of want to bring that over here because I think it would be a nice thing.

If you are interested let me know. I might add people who I think could use the cheer also because I am a doll like that. Spreading the joy.

PS. For those I know is there anything in particular you want or do you want me to buy something random? Beware my random can be from cute to just plain hilarious if I think your into that.

It's a little hard to celebrate that when most our families aren't here.

The secret Santa idea seems fun, though.

True, but you also have to make the most of what we do have.

We still have friends and those we care about here that we make while being here.

But yes, it is always fun. I do them whenever I'm filming during the holidays.

Oh, I got used to spend the Christmas alone but I mean that it’s not an easy time for everyone.

It isn't, which is why it's nice to try and not be alone.

I'm planning on bugging people and going to friends places during the time, personally.

Yeah that is really bad. Ont he bright side, probably NOTHING could be that bad?

True, except maybe mass murder.

I don't think something like that would happen at your possible awards. Don't worry, we can make sure the security measures are the best we can get.

I think in this world anything can be possible. But you are right about the security. Probably should get some for next time.

It can't hurt and it will make both you and the people going tot he awards feel safer.

That for sure. How do the awards work? Everyone can vote...?

Yeah, the one I did people both nominated people they thought would work for certain awards. I choose the top four and then people voted.

That gives everyone a lot of freedom, I think it's a good system.

Yeah, I mean normal awards are always decided by other people and I figured here why not let the people tell others who they prefer. Which still makes it kind of a popularity contest though.

There's usually a formal jury of experts who decided who must win what but it's hard to find no biased people nowadays. So this way, everyone gets a chance and a vote. Seems fairer to me, even if yes, it's a popularity contest.

I mean in some of the areas, I was puzzled by who won. I mean I get it to some extent but also it was a case of I thought personally they fit into a different category.

So for certain areas, I'm going to put more effort into making it fairer.

The general public is an odd animals. I often gets surprised myself by the things I read or see around the commlink network. [Sometimes he gets scarred for life too.]

I mean from what you see anyway. it just makes it super interesting.

What is Secret Santa exactly?

You basically get a name of someone you might not know, or you might who knows and you get them a present without them knowing it was you.

That sounds like fun. Do people do this every year?

Not always, no. I do if I was filming during the season however for something festive.

I see. Is it a work tradition then?

For me, yes. Not so much others I know.

I see. I suppose its something I should look into.

You should. I mean not much to learn about it,
but you'll see why it's a fun thing to do.

Even if some people use it to give others joke presents.

I admit, I might end up giving everyone books.

Nothingh wrong with that, maybe you could figure out what genre that person might enjoy.
