The last one, of course, was written in red white board marker at the bottom of the board, separate from the rest of the list. His attempts to essentially destroy who she was just to make her be the person he wanted her to be were a step too far for her, and even if some of the details were a bit fuzzy, she wanted to make sure it didn't happen again.

He wasn't in control of her life anymore, she wouldn't let him be again, and that's why despite everything, despite the need for post-it reminders all over the house now and her self-made task list, she wasn't going to let what he'd done this time control her either. So Weiss was most definitely outside of their house right now, rather determinedly standing on top of her Arma Gigas's sword, holding a string of lights and a hammer, with a Boarbatusk dutifully untangling it around his horns while she pulls it up and affixes it to the outside of the house. Despite that Weiss usually goes for white and blue, this time she's going with a full array of large multi-colored lights for the holidays. Her Charizard is standing on the roof handing her hooks and nails as needed, and other Pokemon are just kind of running around the house or yard making sure Weiss doesn't forget anything. Anyone who knows where she lives or has business at their home or just wants to pass by and admire the lights is welcome to! She may not subscribe to Christianity but she likes decorating for the winter holiday compilation from all worlds. ]

The people in charge of compiling these keep disappearing or changing so I decided to publish this for everyone! It's the whole set of crystal videos that we have from the last breach.

[To say Jaune had been frazzled after the hospital break-in would have been an understatement. He-- they, had almost lost Weiss, but what would have been the true tragedy was Weiss had almost lost herself, in a way he wasn't sure would have been any better than death. At least when you died, you still kept your memories (or most of them). Everything Weiss had worked for to become her own person would have been gone. He would have stuck by her, but that didn't change the fact that when he did get to sleep, he'd wake up from nightmares where Weiss would be fine one moment, and then not know anything the next. He had certainly been spamming her with texts ever since then, all along the lines of:

how are u feeling nwo?
hey remmbr that time when we ___

He was sure he was probably annoying her at this point, but he would rather her be annoyed and safe and still herself than...not. After texting her with a reminder that he was on his way, he left and froze when he saw probably one of the weirdest sites he had seen yet while here. Even by Weiss standards, this was very extravagant.]

Uh-- [He eyes the Boarbatusk warily and waves at them before looking for Joan in the chaos. He speaks up more softly, in case Weiss forgot he was coming over.]

[ Whatever Jaune maybe it's extravagant but why have the knight hold the ladder when you can just have the knight hold you!! ]

[ She looks over her shoulder and the knight moves his sword so it's slanted toward the ground and she steps down it like she was walking down a steep hill. Shortly after, he disappears, but the Boarbatusk sticks around (he's holding the untangled lights he has a very important job!) ]

[ Looks like that little reminder didn't really stick. She should've written it down. ]

[Admittedly, that is really cool. Like, Weiss Is Cool But Not That Kind of Cool So Why Does She Get the Giant Knight levels of awesome. And why does everyone go to the Dream Docks and suddenly discover even more amazing things about their semblances when he doesn't even know what his is?

The pang of jealousy is quickly gone though, and he looks a little disappointed to see the knight leave. Bye awesome knight. It's almost enough to distract him from the fact that Weiss forgot! He kind of flinches before smiling.]

I'm here to see if you're ready for our celebration party event. But it looks like you got your...horns full. [He grins proudly at his own pun.]

Celebration event. [ Most of the long-term stuff is fine, so she knows what it is, she just.. doesn't remember rescheduling. There's a pit in her stomach and she tries to remind herself that it's fine, he knows what happened, and he knows that she can't help this. It still.. it isn't a great feeling to not even be able to remember your own party, something her friend put work into. ]

I'm sure it's on my calendar inside, I just.. you know. Do you mind helping me unwind the boarbatusk? He's a bit of a stickler for keeping lights untangled.

[ Hers was not as good, at all. But she tried. (Get it, stick, because the horns are like sticks..) It's just bad. She gets out the little whiteboard marker and writes "Celebrate with Jaune- get ready" at the bottom, but above her note about not trusting Jacques. ] Then I'll go get ready.

These crystals were found outside of the barrier which surrounds the cities?

What? No one said that. They were found in the caves in Fayren during the last breach.

I'm sorry. You mentioned a breach - so - I thought it couldn't have been found before. That it must have been in an area where nobody could have looked. I jumped to the wrong conclusion - that was my mistake.

The area in the video doesn't look like Fayren at all.

No, it was just a situation that brought us to a new area within the Maw-- a cave filled with a regenerating crystal, so it's not particularly recommended you go along or without significant lighting, time, fighting capabilities (for the monsters that naturally live in the Maw), other people, and a good sense of direction.

The cave is also where a number of flowers we've been referring to as "Seek flowers" were growing. Flowers that bare a striking resemblance to the ones in the videos.

Breach? Crystal Videos?

I'm still new around here and have absolutely no idea what your talking about.

What the heck is all this?

[ Oh boy. Okay. Where to start? Might as well check the basic info to see if she's got that under her belt before going on about what's been going on with the barriers. ]

Have you been to the edge of any of the cities and noticed the barrier?

Okay. Yeah. I've seen that before. I probably should have asked about this like a month ago, huh?

A lot of it you can get from asking in any Schnee Company branch as well. This is just the first public announcement of this.

The barriers are important because they keep what we've been calling "empty" or "void" spirits- I've heard a couple of different names for them. They're essentially monsters that can't be killed by normal means. If they catch you, they're capable of essentially emptying you of all of your emotions, leaving you with (wait for it) an aching void. (The names make sense now, I take it?)

You have to use spiritual magic of some kind to fight them typically. David Haller has special weapons he works with mages in Fayren to forge that bind some of the captured spirits to fight them, and while we've vastly improved our defenses in most cities, there are typically a lot of casualties and it's impossible to stop them from coming in when the barriers go down.

So while people come in thinking the barriers are there to keep us in, I'm relatively certain that they're there to keep those things out and keep us safe. No one's ever actually managed to make it out of the barriers without losing their emotions and turning on other people here to try and.. well, feel again, at any cost.

It certainly seems that way. It isn't as though we have anyone to confirm, but it's far too similar to be a coincidence.

A bunch of people went after him and we haven't heard anything since besides a handful of people coming back with these crystals after getting out of a cave with magical crystal that keeps growing.

(I think Spock is also working on that.)

You're welcome. Unfortunately the duties kept getting shifted to different people and it ended up on the back-burner. I'm going to try to have a more forward role in terms of organization and information dissemination now that I'm mostly unemployed now.

What sort of job do you do? What sorts of things are you good at outside of that too?

[ If Weiss has gotten good at one thing, it's building and supporting teams. And right now, she wants to get something going to start supporting the GSRF more effectively. ]

Wednesday Audio/Action!

[Yang would ask if Weiss is okay, but...she's pretty sure she already knows the answer to that, just because that message went out via text. She's figured out that a lot of her friends' moods can be predicted based on how much of themselves they're willing to show to the public. Video means 'I'm fine!' Audio means 'I'm shaken, but I don't want to worry anyone.' Text means 'I am in desperate need of ice cream and hugs.']

[So, she figures first things first: find out where her friend is hanging out. Weiss might not feel safe at Sun's house, if he's not there, so it's best to make sure before she starts walking around with meltable food. No texts from Yang, they're still a little difficult to manage left-handed (though she's been improving), much easier to just call.]

Hey, it's Yang! I picked up a souvenir I think you'll like from my bounty mission last night. Are you home? Can I swing by?

[ Those were mostly accurate for Weiss, with some variation. There have been times when she's made a voice or text post solely because she was posting in pajamas. Other times she's done text because people have been pains in the ass about claiming they didn't know something and screaming at her because the information wasn't public enough, despite the literal company dedicated to pushing out information and the open-access foundation and the literal hologram and public posts. Having it in writing doesn't hurt. One of the better things she's learned from her father.

But in this case, Yang was definitely on point. Without any of those factors really playing into things (she's long since given up on people who yell at her for getting snippy when they say she hasn't done enough to try to share information), it's definitely a mood thing. ]

I'm home. I don't... think I'm supposed to be doing anything right now. If I was it's not getting done until I walk by it again at this point.

[ it may be audio, but it's obvious she's rolling her eyes at that. It's more irritation than anything. Weiss is.. well, determined to try not to let her father run her life, even now. Even if she kind of wants to just stay in bed until she can remember things again. ]

I'm finishing up the lights outside. I started them on Monday but Jaune took me out. [ She may not remember the whole trip, but she does remember parts of going out and she does have pictures and the itinerary Jaune made for her. ] I never got around to them on Tuesday. [ She went out to handle the GSRF stuff and then just.. forgot until she saw them when she got home. Oops. So much for surprising Sun. :| ]

[And she is sorry. Who knows what a few more seconds might have spared? She strolls into the nearest convenience store, trying to decide which flavor of ice cream pint to get.]

[And just buys one of everything, why not? She smeared those muggers, they deserve all the flavors.]

It's probably a little late to work at it now, but I can come around tomorrow afternoon and lend a hand if you don't finish it by then. Got any junk food cravings? I'm at the mini-mart, figured I'd ask if there was anything you wanted other than ice cream.

Sunny House

[Articuno is the first Pokemon to show up, landing on the ground just in front of the house and looking up to all that Weiss had done. Sun along with the rest of the Pokemon that he took out to stretch their legs and wings arrive. Sun himself arrived on Rapidash's back as he was riding it. He whistles when he gets a look at all of it.]

Well that's a beautiful sight. [He says while looking at Weiss.] The decorations aren't bad either.

[ Weiss turns to look over at them when she hears the whistling. Articuno's familiar chill didn't startle her, and she let Char finish the end of the gutter they were working on as the knight knelt down to let her down. ]

I thought we all deserved something a little less.. Schnee themed this holiday season.

[ The colors were much more cheerful and even if it was her family and she had a lot of pride and desire to redeem the name, right now.. blue and white just didn't feel like something she wanted to see all the time. ]
