[ VIDEO ] [ Backdated to Saturday night ]
The video is shot from an odd angle - looks like the phone might be sticking out from a front breast pocket on a jacket. It's half-obscured, until there's the shifting sound of leather, and the entire picture is revealed.
There's a terrified looking shop clerk behind the desk, cowering a little.
In front of him, are Akihiko Sanada and … well, whoever’s phone is recording this. Akihiko, at least, looks quite different than what people are used to seeing from him. Akihiko had lost any pretense of a shirt, and his torso was covered in tattoos. His boxing gloves had been swapped out with MMA gloves, that looked like they had nails fitted to them. The only thing that would mark him as Akihiko would be his voice at this point, even if he sounded far more wild than normal.
Of the person holding the camera - you see black leather arms cross in the bottom field of the camera, and hear a voice - unmistakably Shinjiro Aragaki’s voice.
The drawl is dry, sarcastic, bored. But with an edge of sadistic amusement which seems quite out of place, to those who know him.
“Look, we’re bein quite reasonable. Your store seems pretty nice. Lotsa things could happen to it, yanno? Like, take that display over there.”
Akihiko grins, and moves over. He seems really pleased to tip it over, smashing hundreds of dollars’ worth in merchandise.
The shop clerk whimpers a little, and Akihiko walks over, leans on the desk, expression manic.
“I hear fire is a big problem too. It’d be a shame if you had to worry about scarring that pretty face of yours...” He grins with an almost feral look in his eyes as he pulls a lighter from his pants pocket, holding it out to the clerk’s face.
A hand is raised - Akihiko smirks and steps back. This is a dance they’re pretty well rehearsed in.
“Yeah, my friend’s kinda right. Tons of stuff could happen, so what’dya say. A little bit of insurance goes a long way.”
As the shop clerk scrambles, bringing up some cash from the till, Akihiko laughs and Shinjiro chuckles. They both sound genuinely amused by all this.
Shinjiro reaches for his phone for some reason - and then swears, a little, sounding more wry than angry. “Well. Shit.”
He taps a button, for selfie mode, and you see him - without beanie, wearing a bandana, hair tied back, a cruel grin on his face. “Consider this free advertisin. You wanna pay your insurance in advance - hell, we’ll give you a bit of a discount if we ain’t gotta show up and ask for it.”
“Oh come on, Shinji, don’t blue ball me ov--” Akihiko is cut off as the feed ends.
