[Mass Text]
To the citizens of Genessia,
Guardian Cassian Andor seems to be suffering from a temporary case of madness or brainwashing, I’m taking over his duties as a Guardian for the time being until this issue is resolved. If you had any questions or concerns, please direct them to my personal contact and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Andor’s condition seems to have affected other individuals across the cities as well. My advice is to not engage in any discussion or argument that could lead to a physical confrontation.
Have a nice day.
(ooc: unfortunately, I need to go on hiatus until Saturday so Kay send this mass text as a formal announcement but won’t be replying to it. If you want to interact with him, feel free to send your inquiries to his IC-inbox. Thank you!)

text; i fucked up which journal oops its street em here we go
not here
The Force Choke doesn't come, not yet - maybe Darth Imperius hasn't seen the message yet, maybe he needs to be closer, or maybe he's just plotting something more worse for Cassian to have failed him on the first orders given.
Make them trust you, he had been told, and yes, he had agreed to all demands, but he hadn't truly believed he had reason to worry. It wasn't like the droid would follow up on his threats to evict Cassian from his counterpart's house and position of authority.
This is bad. Punishment will come swift and heavy. Better to swallow his rage to be nursed at a more convenient time, and start some actual damage control, then he might at least be spared some of the Sith's rage. ]
text; awww young Em
text;
Maybe they're just PMSing. (Jk)
[ She does find it a little easier to joke around over text. People can't judge you over text, so no one looks at her like a pity case or with disgust. And unlike prime-timeline Emerald, this Emerald hasn't quite gone through the whole 'evil training' regimen, so she just means it light-heartedly instead of genuinely wanting to make people feel bad. Hence the jk. ]
text;
Uh...perhaps. Can men PMs?
And are you okay? [She at least doesn't sound evil. Or...eviler than usual.]
text;
Idk I'm not a doctor. Maybe?
As I ever am.
text;
I should act McCoy, it would make for an interesting conversation.
That statemented is vague and unconvincing.
Re: text;
What?
Too bad.
text;
Sorry,that was a type. I'll ask McCoy, one of the doctors here, I meant. He might know if men can also PMs. Could explain what's going on with Cassian.
Now that sounds more like you, Emerald.
text;
Don't know him. [ she can't afford a doctor ] The Guardian? Explains why he was acting like a freak both times he grabbed me the past few days.
How would you know? We aren't exactly friends.
[ Though talking to Kay is always more fun for her than anyone else. Human beings tend to be shitty. The judgy robot is equally judgy of everyone and doesn't care if her hair is coiffed or not. ]
text;
It's been some time since I saw him, now that I think of it. Yes, the Guardian. Grabbed you? How? He doesn't remember our relationship, it's really upsetting. He sent me a lot of weird messages and then asked me for nudes.
We are not but that doesn't mean I don't pay attention.
[That's more or less the reason why he likes to talk to her as well. Never a boring conversation with Emerald.]
[Video]
Ohhh, you are gorgeous, blimey... you're a few weeks early, because this is just... Christmas, I knew you were about, haven't had a chance to talk, love the glowy eyes, keeps the humans focused, right? Classic design, sorry, hello, I'm the Doctor, and no, don't think it's either of those, well, not in the way you likely mean, could possibly be an infection or parasite, but I'm working on another theory, most likely natural causes, good on you taking the initiative, though, and do let me know if anything interesting develops with Cassian.
text;
because that thread isn't done yetand slightly skewed. It was come with me if you don't want to get arrested, but she's not going to admit to doing something that would've ended with her getting arrested. ]You people know way too much about me if you can tell that.
text;
[He wants to behave too but Kay swears to the Force, this city is testing him.]
You know a lot about me as well. It's not that bad.
[Video as well]
Gorgeous? Why, thank you. It's nice to know someone can appreciate a droid's frame. You are very flattering. No need to apologize. And yes, 'classic design' sounds about right. You know how the saying goes, 'If it works..'
Pleasure to meet you Doctor. [Odd name but not the weirdest he's here. And Rose already told him that there are more than one Doctor int he city so Kay just rolls with it.]
I was hoping it could be some sort of disease because the alternative is this place's magic working against the citizens again and there's no fixing that. Are you friends with him?
[Video]
[The Doctor smiles to himself quirkily at that thought.]
And yes, I do, although if I'm honest, I tend more toward "why stop at good enough, good enough is for losers."
Well, worth testing everything we can, but I'm frankly not betting a lot on 'disease'--at least, probably not the sort you get from a microbe--considering we've been brought here from a list of universes long as your arm and probably a bit of the other, not to mention all the telepathic forces at work. Say our presence here's sustained by an interdimensional telepathic extrapolator, for example, and the address slipped a bit; or if you prefer, we're obviously desynchronized from our native timelines, as well, could be time's a bit turbulent, here, so someone's brought here from one timeline, then when his personal time line here's perturbed, it crosses with an alternate timeline.
[Sure, they're seemingly mutually exclusive theories, and probably just sound like a lot of technobabble, but it sure is issued with confidence as though he knows exactly what he's talking about.]
Re: [Video]
There's that too..room for improvement. We can always be better.
[His rely it's a bit confusing but more or less Kay gets it. After all, he comes from a point in time different from other people here who also belong to this world.]
Do you think that the more new people gets here, the higher the chances this kind of anomalies, to call them something, might happen? If people from different timelines and universes keeps meeting when they shouldn't, that will only disrupt things further.
text;
[ That should be a red flag right there, considering she's supposed to know Mercury. ]
text;
[But the rest of things makes Kay pause after reading the text.]
What can you tell me about the other deputies and guardians? The ones in Nova City, for example?

The alien is named Garrus, he's trustworthy. A bit too serious but that's part of his charm. As for the other, Mercury, I admit I haven't really interacted with him.
Mass genocide? Against who? I don't think he will attack you here but if you need a safe place you can come to the Attleton office.

[ But Emerald has always been less forgiving, less trusting. Whether the brats at Beacon forgave him or not doesn't mean a thing to her, she doesn't trust someone to watch her back while she sleeps- trusting someone who worked toward her death isn't happening. ]
I'm not hanging around a bunch of law enforcement. Did Andor tell you to invite me? He's done enough, I'm not his charity case and I definitely don't owe him favors.
Re: [Video]
[The Doctor smiles at that, always pleased when someone's thinking innovative thoughts.]
Almost certainly completely wrong, compared with this universe with the telepathic barriers and the bridges you call "archways," most of us scarcely count for a sneeze, and if we're talking about anomalous space-time events, well, I'd count for about a thousand of you lot, at the moment. If I had to guess, I'd say something to do with this universe, how we got here. Our anomalies are too... thematic to be space-time events. Space and time, left to their own devices, wouldn't know Halloween from Christmas.
Still an int'resting thought, though, there's a lot we don't yet understand, here, actually, how long've you been here, exactly?
[Video]
We learn more from mistakes, if you ask me. And we don't know how to how long Genessia has existed. Weiss told me that she got trapped in place where she experienced a year in a matter of a few days.
You're right about the thematic nature but only when it comes to a world similar to Earth. The holidays in my galaxy are different.
I've been living here for 11 months and 7 days. Or if you prefer, 491.040 minutes or the 93,42% of the year. I arrived on January 12th.

Lady, you know that no one can order me to do anything I don't want. [Okay except maybe Cassian. if he insists. But he has to insist a lot.] And I banned Cassian from our house and the office, he's not welcome there in his state.
Re: [Video]
Yes, precisely, rather a compelling correlation, I'd say. 'bout a year, int'resting, an Earth year, I'm looking forward to your thoughts on how one year lines up to the next, whether there's any looping.
no subject
If he's that important to you and he's messed up shouldn't you be helping fix him? He helped me out pre-and-post grunge, he doesn't seem that horrible.
no subject
I know that this might be temporary and I did try to help him. But I also know that the real Cassian would have wanted, and that's protecting others and the city. He always valued his duty over everything, that includes himself.
[Video]
Looping? Hm.
no subject
So you're just letting him wander around the city ticking people off? He's going to get stabbed.
no subject
And I'm patrolling to make sure no one causes too much trouble.
no subject
[ Sorry Kay. She's a little sensitive about getting kicked out, and Cassian did try to help her both pre- and post-asshole. Which is something she considers a rare quality. ]
no subject
[Oh, Emerald, never underestimate Cassian's ability to make his own situation worse all by himself.]
no subject
[ Emerald has some feelings about being abandoned and unloved, okay. To her, it sounds like even if he was being a jerk, aren't voicemails and dumb nudes what boyfriends are supposed to do? Robot or not. All it sounds like to her is K2SO didn't want to deal with a rough patch and kicked him out as if it didn't mean anything. So she's just going to stop responding. She'd rather just be pissed that the one person she thought was okay is as disloyal and shitty as everyone else around to the one person who wasn't awful to her. ]
no subject
[He would understand where is she coming from if he knew but still...this sort of attention is not what you would like, Em. He waist for her to reply back and when that doesn't happen, Kay goes back to work and to control damage.]
Re: [Video]

We could keep theorizing but the possibility to get real answers is lower than 5%.
no subject
[The Doctor points back and forth between them, making an Offended Little Kid Face.]
No one gets the right answer right away, haven't you traveled?
no subject
[Cute. Kay would grin if he had the capacity.]
But ah, droids like me get a bit frustrated when all we have are theories.
