Captain's Log - Arrival [Video]

[Dinner had been one of the best meals he'd had in some time, giving Sanji no end of praise before turning in for the night. His extended stomach lurched back and forth as he waddled to the hammocks, jumping up and landing in the canvas bedding as the posts creaked from his weight. Meals like this meant that Luffy would be done and out for some time, only to wake up to the scent of breakfast with a now empty stomach.

It isn't the eggs that wake him, but the familiar sound of crashing waves amplified by the walls of an unfamiliar cavern bring him back to the waking world. Groggy and unfocused, the young Captain rubs the top of his head as he feels about his stomach for his hat. Finding instead a small box, he lifts it up and inspects it with lazy, narrowed eyes.]

Hmnngh-??

[He blinks, shifting the box around a few times before setting it atop his head, mistaking it for the yellow, straw hat he was known for wearing.]

Huh-??.. This doesn't look like the Sunny..

[She's not exactly sure why he would think it was a hat, maybe he was still sleepy or something, she didn't know. She just knew she should point out that fact.]

[The voice, seemingly coming from out of thin air, catches the poor Pirate off guard. He immediately rises, looking around him for any sign of life whilst keeping the box held firmly against his head. Seems he's only now fully coming to from his extended slumber.]

[She jumped slightly. She wasn't even there and that yell was kind of scary. As she jumped out of fright she yelped.]

[His ears perk up, his head tilting to the side as he peers around him to see where the unfamiliar voice originates from.]

.. Eh? Vassal? What the heck is a vassal?

[Yeah. He misses the whole "dumber" and "worthless" parts there. Those are words he's heard before.]
