[Action/Video - Genessia City]

[If there was any time that the words "Not this shit again" would cross Blaze's mind, now is very much that time. The moment he'd woken up in that pod, he knew exactly what was going on, seeing that he's already gone through this twice before. Same items in the box, still have to wade through water to get out. At least if nothing else, these latest two times didn't involve him having to swim his way out like the first time.

He shivered, rubbing his arms through his jacket. This time around was certainly much colder than the other times he showed up, so his legs being wet was making things a little worse than it would have any other time. He'd still stand there and listen to the hologram regardless of the cold in case there was anything new, but once he was done he would start on his way to some place to get a warm drink of some kind. The weather shift makes it easy to tell that months have passed since he was here last. He'll turn his video on along the way:]

Third time's a charm, I guess. If there was any award for "most returned person to Genessia," I feel like I might be in the running.

[He sounds a little bit annoyed, but how can you not be when you get popped back into another place for the third time.]

Can anyone tell me what happens to pets and Pokemon after someone leaves?

[He has no major questions to ask beyond that- he's a little worried about his companions from the last time.]

[Later in the day, Blaze would decide to stop by the Attleton Guardian Office, but not without checking out a certain subarchway first. Upon learning that the Midnight Channel had closed, Blaze had an overwhelming sense of relief. Sure, he may not be Guardian anymore, but knowing that place was no longer a problem was comforting. Hell, it was probably a comfort to the whole team, whenever it happened.

He would peer into the office, his eyebrows lifting in dull surprise at all the changes- seeing the expansion and the additions of computers. Why he hadn't thought of computers was beyond him, but he was used to doing everything by hand...

He won't go out of his way to look for someone, on the off chance the team was busy, so he'll look around the main office. It was certainly nice, that was for sure.]

[ Sensing a familiar presence while in her store in Genessia, Ayame confirmed her hunch when she sees Blaze's return in the network. Ayame feels a small smirk form in her features, although she chose not to respond to him just yet. she figures others might answer his question soon enough.

It's not hard to predict that Blaze would check out Attleton on the first day of his arrival, so Ayame figured to ambush him there once she's not busy anymore, even bringing in a surprise for him. Ayame just teleports herself in the Guardian's office that she's come to know as a third home. Ayame wore her usual fancy clothes, but what's new with her is how she carried herself. While still fairly composed and reserved, Ayame just looks a lot happier in general. ]

I know I shouldn't say this but, it's good to see you again. Hello, Blaze.

[ Ayame's voice called out from the end of the hallway, accompanied the sound of her footsteps against the floor as she walks towards Blaze with a friendly expression. She came with nothing but her purse slung on her shoulder. ]

How do you like the renovations? The new Guardian's idea.

[The sound of Ayame's voice pulled Blaze's attention away from the building's renovations, causing the man to look in the direction he heard her voice and footsteps from. A small smile came to Blaze's face as he approached her.]

Ayame, hello. It's good to see a familiar face.

[He isn't sure how many of those are still around. It was an odd relief to have someone remember him, even if it was unfortunate that it meant they were still stuck here.

Blaze looked back over his shoulder, admiring the building's changes a little more.]

It's a far cry from the building that I used to work in. It looks nice. [Even if in a small way, he missed the old building, but he wasn't Guardian anymore so it didn't matter.] I'm assuming Cassian is the current Guarian?

You assumed correctly.

[ Ayame nods, continuing her walk down the hall until she passes by Blaze a bit, then she turns halfway and stops her pace, should Blaze be interested in seeing more of the new building, she'd be happy to show it to him ]

Dante and Major Jordan are still deputies. Cassian wanted to continue your contributions in a way.

He did? [He seemed a little surprised by that. He expected that a changing of the guard would bring all new changes. He began to follow Ayame, very interested in seeing more of the new additions.] I'm glad that I left that much of a positive impact.

[That almost felt odd, given his history, but it was certainly a nice change of pace. Even his deputies still held their jobs. He had no doubt that they would have done excellent work while he was gone.]

Have I missed anything major while I was home? It's been, what, six months?

[He still remembers that massive breach, hopefully that never happened again. He assumed Everglade was still a hellhole.]

More or less. After the breach, only one thing happened that's truly worth noting...

[ She would know, she was affected by it. She gives a small shrug of her shoulders, followed by her hand adjusting that sling of her purse ]

It was an event that affected all the five cities and adjoining subarchways. Each city had it's quirk and the effect lasted for over two weeks. Coincidentally, it happened on Halloween. Appropriate, that.

[ Ayame leads Blaze deeper into the still relatively small Guardian office. She takes her time, strolling slowly along with Blaze ]

Genessia City was crawling with monsters every nightfall, entering Nova City turns someone into half an animal - you might remember that. Entering Fayren causes you to suddenly be dressed in a costume. Everglade turned into a city of pastry and candy. And Attleton was perhaps the worst off all of it. One's greatest fears, manifested.

[ Ayame gives Blaze a peaceful smile, just as she stops in front of Dante's office. She makes a paper bag filled with food appear in her hands out of thin air, from a popular burger joint in Attleton. She enters the empty office where she spots a sleeping Tepig on Dante's chair, leaving it alone while she places the paper bag on the desk. She does this a lot, ever since Blaze was in office. She visits this place just to leave the boys a little something to eat ]

Welcome back. I think you win at returning and keeping your memories.

[ His voice is soft. He just got it back.]

I'm not sure about regular pets. Pokémon disappear. At least the ones my housemates had vanished.

[He gives a bit of a dry laugh.]

I'm not sure that's an award I want to my name.

[A sad smile comes to his face. Part of him had hoped that he'd be able to get his team again, but if they disappeared, they were probably better off. At least they weren't abandoned entirely.]

So they must go home too. It's good to know that, thank you.

[That leaves Sisko and Kirk. Maybe he should look around animal shelters for those two- assuming they hadn't been taken in and adopted already.]

[ Mayu nods.

I believe so. People could only keep a few of the ones they trained.

So... It's possible to come back multiple times huh..?

[What exactly dictates when and how they come here? And how many times? This place still boggled her mind in that aspect.]
