Twenty-Seventh Reel: No More Radio Silence [video]
[The video opens up to Grell, wearing black earmuffs, a black knit scarf about her neck that's tucked neatly into her red wool coat. She's outside the guardian station of Everglade.]
I've finally managed to get everything settled and...I'm back! [She smiles, knowing that she probably wasn't missed while she was quiet.] Due to the frigid weather, temporary shelters have been arranged in each city with the help of The Red House Foundation. Between my duties here in Everglade, managing that, running my shop, and roasting pumpkin seeds, I haven't had much time to be on the network these past few weeks.
I'd like to also mention that Guardian Andor and myself have established self-defense and first aid classes for the residents of Attleton and Everglade. With this project, our goal is to prepare our residents for any future events in which they would need to effectively defend or treat themselves until help arrives.
Perhaps when things seem...normal, for lack of a better word, there will be a fixed schedule.
[A gust of wind blows through, tussling her bangs and making her shiver once. Ugh, windchill...]
Last, I'll be running for City Guardian for another term, because I believe there is still much that can be done here.
[She ends the feed there, because it's cold.]

video;
[Some kind of weird-looking girl on the screen. She's lightly dusted with snow and doesn't look quite as chipper as she usually does.]
Are you in need of any healing teachers? If so, I'd like to volunteer.
video;
[So she looks like everyone else, then? The weather doesn't help, too. By now, Grell has moved indoors, her earmuffs off but still in her coat and scarf.]
That would be wonderful, actually! The more, the better! Is your healing skills magic based?
video;
Uh, yes. They are magic based. I still remember how my mentor taught me, so I can teach it to other people.
video;
Most participants don't use magic, but some of our healers do. Exchanging healing techniques would be of use for them to bring back to Everglade, but not so useful otherwise.
Do you know any non-magical healing?
Re: video;
I do, if you mean attack magic or, like, mystical shields and other. But I never had opportunities to hone them. I can still teach it, though.
[Students will probably be stronger than her at it pretty quickly.]
video;
isn't advised for those without practical knowledge.
Re: video;
[She would freeze her tail off if it wasn't furry.]
Afraid not, no. Though I did use to collect herbs for odd jobs back in the day. But I'm no apothecary.
video;
You could help the healers learn new techniques, but as far as assisting the participants, I'm afraid you aren't a good fit.
video;
All right. Where do you suppose I can be of most use?

[ Shrugs, looking thoughtful ]
I mean, I know a lot of people did what they could last week - but plenty of people got hurt .... or killed ...
Maybe things will be better if more people were prepared.

Preparing for anything is better than not being prepared at all. We're always being thrown curveballs, though.

[ Sheepish smile ] And considering where I'm from, that's saying something.
Setting up those shelters, though ... Did you need a hand with that?
I'm living in Genessia City myself, but I'd be willing to travel to other cities, if somewhere's short on helping hands.

[It's entirely possible, but also crazy to consider.]
Hmm...I think for the moment, things are pretty settled, but I'm sure that extra hands won't ever be turned down if you wish to volunteer, Mister...?

[ Very crazy to consider. ]
Oh! Forgive me. I forgot we've never been introduced.
My name's Takumi Terasu - what's yours?

Grell Sutcliff. Well met, Mister Terasu.

[ Looks a bit bashful. ]
Just Takumi's fine - I'm not anyone of importance here, Guardian Sutcliff.
