[Another campaign message?!]

Training resumes Saturday. I presume those of you undergoing the regimen have not neglected your physical exercises lest your muscles grow soft.

[Nope, just Winter being her usual charming self. And yet this note is open to the public. Maybe it's her way of showing that she's back to normal after last week's madness? Or a chance for others to ask questions? Who knows, she didn't say.]

[Despite him almost preferring the pleasant Winter who gave him a much needed week to goof off, he has to admit that truth is always better than pleasing, ephemeral fiction. Even if she is kinda mean.]

[She's honestly somewhat surprised. Where's the chorus of 'bring back the fun version of yourself' from all the haters? Even more surprising, he's kept up his training even while she was absent.]

[She's even more terse through text. Who would have believed it to be possible?]

So you won't be following up on that then. Would you like me to inform Mr. Spock of this decision for you?

[ She does see him sometimes. ]

[Oh no you don't. She sees what you're trying to do here, little sister.]

As the matter has already been discussed, I don't expect that you'll find much conversation of interest from Mr. Spock.

Then I take it I won't be getting further communication from him asking how you feel about hiking or promising me it "isn't some fling"?

[Winter...is confused. Did she say those things last week? There's a pause in response, because she has to check her 'sent' folder to verify that she said nothing of the sort. How perplexing.]

Explain.

He texted me to try to get info so he could have a good date with you. I asked him if he was feeling okay, he clearly wasn't, so I shut him down because no one should have the right to start a relationship with my sister when you're both clearly under the influence of something out of your control.

If neither of you are interested anymore, I'll leave it alone, but I think you two might get along outside of you both going mental because of Genessia's eccentric proclivities.

I see. You are correct to dismiss any unusual conversations that took place during the previous week, as they stemmed from alternate versions of ourselves.

[But Winter hears her: Weiss ships it. And that's unusual. She's unaccustomed to receiving any kind of support, especially for such a personal matter. She's reluctant to showcase too much emotion or vulnerability, but neither does she want to give the impression that she dislikes or disapproves of the Vulcan.]

Despite the awkward nature of the relations shared between us, we remain currently congenial.

[ She more just meant that they'd get along, she doesn't know that she ships anything with her sister. It's one thing to get involved with her friend's romance- Family? That's.. a little outside of her scope. She'll support her if she chooses to go forward with that as long as it isn't influenced by event nonsense, though. She'd love to see Winter be happy, friendship or romance. ]

He does help out at the GSRF often if you ever want to talk to him.

[Winter tried out the 'happy' thing last week. ~~It was terrible.~~ It was...different. But she does appreciate that Weiss was trying to look out for her while she was out of sorts.]

That won't be necessary. I have no concrete reason to visit the GSRF otherwise.

[Just throw her a bone already, Winter. She hesitates. And follows up a few seconds later.]

We've agreed to meet again at a future point so I might learn the benefits of Vulcan meditation, and test whether such benefits would be applicable to enhancing my skills.
